This is the only gym in the area that's 24/7, which is great for me because it leaves no excuse for missing my workout. It's never crowded, even on weekends, and I've never had to wait for a machine. It is a very all inclusive gym with members of all ages, so there's no pressure to lift big or weird stares for not having huge muscles. As for specific equipment, they have regular weight machines, pneumatic resistance machines, free weights, a smith machine, TRX system, and much more. They also offer various classes and personal training. Out of everywhere I've lived throughout New Jersey and New York, this has been the best gym I've ever worked out at.

I said I would do my best, but there was fresh snow on the ground and the class started so soon. I rush there and arrived about 12 min before class, and they rudely announce they need to reschedule me because I was "late". It takes about 5 min to fill out paper work at a doctor's office, so I have no idea what they needed me to do there. Horrendous service. Bad attitude. Invasive marketing. Places like this should close. Working out should be a nice experience, it should relieve stress - rather than add it. I've had better experiences in NYC Orange Theories, but now will NEVER return to the franchise.

My experience with personal training has been a disappointment (putting it mildly). After two sessions where my trainer was double booked, today my session that was supposed to start at 7:15am never happened as he showed up 15 minutes late. That all though he is supposed to confirm my sessions didn't recall my start time. Again, after two previous issues with scheduling the third time was enough. Management.... Who is that??? When I show up they aren't there and the front desk staff has no clue when they're supposed to be there. Example, today (5/23) I was told someone from management would be in after 9am. I returned after 12pm and guess what nobody from management or personal training management showed up. ---------- I've been a member for almost a month. What a disappointment and I'm starting to think a waste of money. Can't book any classes. When I attempt to I get errors and by the time I refresh the app the classes are full. One of the hand dryers in the women's bathroom has been broke since I signed up at the gym. No out of order sign on the dryer. I informed the front desk and it was like they had no clue. I had to inform the staff that there was toilet paper all over the floor one Saturday. I was told they had no female cleaning staff working and would send a female personal trainer in there. Seriously a personal trainer doing janitor duties?? The most annoying and disappointing part of this gym is their training. Ridiculous that I put in all my sessions when I purchased the package. Why is time available and then the trainer gets double booked? And then while I'm confirmed (or think I am) I don't learn until I'm about to head to the gym of this schedule conflict. I am new to fitness kickboxing, and I am hooked on it! I took a trial class last weekend, because…read moremy current gym is closing and I want to be able to work out long after this month is over. Believe me when I say that I have searched far and wide to find the right match with a new gym. The class that I took was the same length as the ones at my current gym (30 minutes). I took the class with the owner because I knew that she was recommended. Turns out that in the 30 minute classes, they are very fast-paced. I had a hard time keeping up, even though I got a great workout and loved every minute of it. The owner took the time to speak with me at length after the class was over, gave me information to log into the class app, and gave me the names of the other instructors who teach the 45 minute class. She then proceeded to explain to me that the 45 minute class has a warm up session and a cool down session. I was pleased when she allowed me to sign up for another class free of charge just so I had something to compare to. There was no pressure to sign up. In fact, I asked to see the membership options. When I stopped in and spoke to someone else a few weeks earlier, I wasn't told that there were options to purchase packs of classes. The owner showed me this option and said that many of the members purchase these class packs instead of committing to a 6-month of a year membership. This put me at ease because I have heard mixed reviews from this gym. She had me sold with this option. As I stated earlier, I haven't been doing fitness kickboxing for long, and want to give it a fair chance before I make the decision to either keep doing this or resort to home workouts (which I am not always as disciplined at doing). I left the gym feeling confident that I made the right decision in joining. I am actually looking forward to the next class that I will be taking next week.

I have never been able to do a real push up in my life until now! The workouts are fun and since you have a choice of trainers you can workout with the one(s) who work best for you! It's not just hitting bags.. There are weights for toning, resistance bands, crunches, burpees, etc! If you can't do them yet - no problem! The trainers give you modifications so you work out on a level appropriate for you! The other people there are SO kind and helpful. Each time I've attended classes other members have offered to help with moves in case I needed any further clarification. I always worked out on and off but never pushed myself like I am pushed at CKO. I look forward to classes, and even though I drip with sweat I feel so great!!!
