They were polite, quick, efficient, and careful the entire way. They fit everything in one truck, loading and unloading with great care. Slight scratches on a few pieces of furniture were to be expected, only one insignificant stool had a broken leg, easily repairable. We paid $250/hour (they brought their own truck, would be less if we got one ourselves). We were overcharged for 30 mins of work due to a miscalculation in the hours. Randy sent out a refund check the same day. I was nervous to hire the company given the lack of web presence that they have with a half-completed weebly site, but we were referred by a local company who was not available for the dates we chose. We were very impressed and would hire them again in the future.

We were given a quote and details regarding minimum timeframes and prorated amounts, and were able to book a move with relatively short notice. They reached out to confirm as well the day before our move, and on moving day the friendliest crew ever showed up at my door. Angel, Eric, and Will were professional, polite, and funny as well. They made me feel so comfortable and relaxed and were able to handle some unwieldy furniture with ease. When processing the payment the day of the move, the owner let us know we'd come in under the initial quoted amount as well - a pleasant surprise! While I'm hoping not to move again for a long while, if I had to I'd book with Reliable Movers again in a heartbeat.

Given the recent snow storm we had, I could understand the delay. The owner assured me they would be done on time. When they arrived on the day of the move, the owner stated they couldn't do the move because our driveway was too steep. At no time did anyone from Reliable Movers ask about our driveway or access to our house. We were told this only hours before we had to be out of our house for closing. I was able to offer a solution and get them up our driveway. The team worked diligently to move our belongings quickly. However, upon unpacking the truck at our new house we discovered damage to several pieces of furniture and a new TV. The owner admitted he didn't bring enough moving blankets to adequately protect all items. Additionally their truck was not adequate to fit all of our belongings requiring us to quickly arrange for overnight storage. Overall it was a bad experience and I would not recommend this business.

Boxes were labeled "this side up" or "fragile ". I uses bubble wrap on fragile things and made sure every box was padded and tight. They packed my TVs and managed to dent the screen on one ( which I was reimbursed for). But, their insurance covers...are you ready.. .6 cents/lb! One ( of many dishes) is $100 to replace! They ripped the handle off one of my dressers and I don't even know where they through it to begin to repair it. It took me over 5 months and a lot of emails to even get a check for the TV. It didn't matter who packed the items since they had no regard for my items. They did everything but jump up and down on them. Never again! Beware!

I booked packing and moving services - two people for packing, and three people for moving…read more Originally I had booked these services on two consecutive days, but had to reschedule about a week before the original move date, and was assured it would be no problem and that the packing and moving could be done on the same day, that it would be fine. I was asked to chose a specific time window for both of these services, with packing starting at 10 AM, and I was super clear that the move would be a three person job, and that two guys were not enough. I received a confirmation for three guys with a truck arriving for the moving portion of the job at 1 PM. At 7:30 am on the day of the move, the people who were coming to pack called and said they were on their way. When I explained that the time I was told was 10 AM, I was accused of "rescheduling" and "changing the time" which was completely false - I was asked to pick a specific time window when I booked the job Then, shortly after the guys arrived at 10, I was informed that there would only be the two of them with the truck they had arrived in which was obvious even to me that it would not fit everything, and that the third person with an appropriately sized truck who I had booked and was supposed to arrive at 1 PM for the moving portion of the job was not coming because guys had called in sick. The truck was indeed too small, and another guy ended up coming in on his day off and loading a dresser into his personal vehicle to move it. Then I was accused by the owner of not giving an accurate inventory, which is false (and if the packing had happened the day before the move as it was suppose to any issues with that would have been identified). It ended up being a 12 hour nightmare during a heat wave, and I had to make two additional trips the following day because they didn't even move all of my stuff. And then the owner tried to charge me more than I'd been quoted on top of it when it was all over. At no point has anyone at the company taken any responsibility, and instead tied to blame me because I had rescheduled the date a week prior. I even called the morning of and spoke to Antonio, who assured me there would be three guys coming at 1, which obviously turned out to be totally false. The guys who did the work were great, but despite that the experience with the owner and office staff was so bad that I would warn anyone to not expect to get what you're quoted, and to plan for a bait and switch.
