Troy is the owner and was amazing today! This place is legit! I've been suffering with a pinch in my back from a workout I did a few weeks ago. He was able to identify the issue and get me back right within my first visit. This place also has a cold plunge and sauna which I'm planning to use on my next visit. The receptionist was also super friendly and kind. She was able to squeeze me in same day due to my condition and availability. If you need a normal massage this might not be the place for you. Get me Goings is a medical sports massage facility, you won't find that pampering BS like a resort massage. This place targets specific areas that are effected by muscle tension. The phrase "no pain no gain" applies to this entire experience 100%. There are times during your session where you feel like you may need to tap out but this part is normal and can be expected. My massage consisted of actual deep tissue and intense stretching, that no other therapist has been able to apply in combination to this technique. Cupping was also mixed in between the stretching and deep tissue combo. Instead of lotion my therapist used coconut oil. One day later I'm still sore but I walked out feeling like a million dollars. I went there a few weeks back for my shoulder pain. I forgot the person's name who gave me a message. She was nice and supportive. I am pregnant, so really appreciated that she took her time with me and provided different options and made me feel comfortable as I was nervous. My shoulder pain didn't feel better even a little bit. I wasn't expecting it to go away completely but I wanted some relief at the least. Also, I thought I might get diagnosed and told what is wrong with my shoulder but I am still confused as to what is the problem with my shoulder. My two stars is based off of the environment and the cost. Not the service. Here's why- I'm a disabled athlete which means I'm required to have a ton of self-care built into my schedule. My normal neuromuscular therapist had a family emergency so I decided to try this place out about a week from a big race. By all means I'm not a froufrou fancy spa resort person but my first impression of this business was a few professionals got together to rent out a space and practice their skills. It just doesn't feel super professional. They don't ever actually answer the telephone you have to leave a message and get a call back. That's frustrating. They have a front desk area but seems like no staff to actually run it. Was the actual hands-on work good... Yes, but I've been paying for the same service elsewhere for about $50 less. I find this place to be over priced. And this is coming from someone who's used lots of services and works in the health and fitness industry and knows how much things cost. I'm not looking for a deal. I know these people have a lot of education and training, however I feel like they are not competitively priced. I might be back but only on a special, one-off occasion. read more

I have been living with sciatic pain for years and it was finally time to do something about it! I couldn't sleep at night and my lower back was always killing me. I decided to take a chance with Troy to see if he could possibly help me so I set up an appointment! Troy was awesome! We talked about my issues and what the plan of attack was going to be. Troy was very knowledgeable and that put me at ease immediately. This is not your average massage, there were times when it was painful but I left feeling rejuvenated and had some instant relief in my lower back. Troy provided some after care tips to help with the healing process (ice, Ibuprofen, etc), which really helped the recovery process. The last 2 nights I have actually been able to sleep! Needed a massage for my lower back after pulling something in December, then re-hurting it yesterday. Haven't had a sports massage before but this was awesome. I was able to schedule an appointment the day after hurting myself which was convenient. I met with Lindsey who is an apprentice of Troy's. She did a great job! She knew exactly where I was feeling pain and tightness and was able to make it feel better. When I went in there I could barely bend over, and was having trouble squatting down, not to mention how awful it was getting out of bed today. Towards the end Lindsey had me roll over to finish stretching. At that point I could tell how much better my back was doing. It felt 100+ times better then when I rolled out of bed this morning. While not completely healed I have more flexibility than before. I can bend over further, and I am able to squat. Will probably stretch it out the next couple of days, and go back one more time, and I will be good. Throughout the massage Lindsey communicated exactly what she was doing and why which I appreciated since I had never done this type of massage before.
