Made my way back home to GR for the first time in nearly 16 years and excited to visit new places, first thing on the agenda - Coffee. Arrived at this cute spot unsure of what to expect. Quickly greeted by the staff and plenty of drink options. My husband and I are mocha fans so it was an easy choice for us although there are so many options here. As we waited on our drinks, I walked around and fell in love with the nostalgic pieces in this place. After admiring all these wonderful news clippings, cups, and the wonder ambiance, I found my place near the window with the warm sun and my favorite - a puzzle. Mocha was perfectly sweetened, nice smooth flavor, and just the right amount of foam. Overall a fabulous experience and will certainly be back next time I'm in GR. read more

This place is crap. I got a black coffee no cream no sugar and tasted like water and brown food coloring, worst coffee I've ever had. We ordered the cowboy benedict and I think the cook dumped the entire pepper shaker on top. The gravy had no flavor (except for pepper) and the eggs were extremely undercooked I swear they were still chirpin. We also got the breakfast burrito and by no surprise it was awful as well. It was super dry and had zero flavor. Tasted like a very bland stale cheese quesadilla. Stopped at this place to do some work while passing through green river. Small little coffee joint with quaint decorations and seating. Ordered a chai latte and regular tea to start. The chai had a overpowering cinnamon taste like drinking cinnamon hearts. Was a little overpowering for a chai tea but it was a concentrate and the ratios seemed a little off. The tea came in a large tea pot with 3-4 cups worth of tea in a cute little setting with pot, cup and strainer. For eats we ordered the green chili crepe and the breakfast burrito with green chili. The crepe came smothered in green chili and filled with cream cheese and though it was an interesting combo the waitress assured us it was tasty. However the amount of cream cheese was heavy handed and took away from the green chili taste. The burrito was a much better mix to have green chili on top and balanced well with the fillings. What a gem! Not only were the coffee drinks great, but the food was also excellent. We had the cowboy breakfast and Mediterranean burrito along with a plain latte and cafe Americano with an extra shot. Delicious! Ambience was an tasteful Americana and service friendly & competent....a good place to linger. Definitely stop by if you're passing through Green River, WY! Driving cross country, my husband & I made a point of stopping at the local spots. We spent the night in Rock Springs, WY and were planning a quick stop in Green River to check out some historic spots. I type in "coffee" in Yelp, came across Get Real Coffee, and knew we had to stop. It is a bit tricky to find, but basically turn into the parking lot directly across from the McDonalds, and go left - its right there with the dancing dogs on the window. The environment was warm and welcoming, there were cards on the tables, and the whole place had such a cozy feel. I ordered the baked oatmeal and was blown away, it was delicious. Our coffees were scrumptious and the perfect pick-me up, 4 days into a cross country journey. Hard to find if your new. Directly across the street from mcdonalds. Our GPS steered us slightly off. Don't give up. You will be happy. Owner cares about her reputation and has years of experience as a barista. Very friendly and was constantly wiping, cleaning, straightening while she visited. She has pride in her technique and it shows. A little pricey but she has extremely good quality of product. Even down to very expensive chocolate that she imports for her drinks. Other larger, higher budgeted espresso shops should take lessons in business management and caring about the product you provide. The "S" word should be ashamed. read more

The lady who took our order was very friendly and answered any questions we had. Coffee first: The coffee was hot and fresh. Little too much foam on top for our taste but- it does make it look good. The coffee cups and plates are cute. Food: we ordered two of the specials 1. Blueberry crepes: WAY TOO SWEET and alot of the blueberries were still frozen?....The crepe itself was pretty well done. 2. Mediterranean quesadilla: Had no cheese in it? Was supposed to have feta....there was just unrelated shredded cheese sprinkled on top. There was way too much going on in this...canned tomatoes, klamata olives, peppers, chicken....not sure what else...the flavors just got kind of muddled in a sea of ingredients. Get Real Coffee is a hidden gem! The coffee bar has a full selection of favorite espresso drinks, both hot and cold, neat or flavored. The food menu is small, but extremely varied. We had the Not So Famous Burrito and Mixed Berry Crepes but Baked Oatmeal and Biscuits and Gravy were in the running for a while. The ambiance is coffee house chic, the restaurant and dining area is spotless and smelled great as soon as we opened the door. The price for breakfast was very fair and reasonable given the quality of the meal. If your in a hurry, there is a drive through window. This place is a real gem. Was driving through Green River on a road trip and found this cute local coffee shop on Yelp. It's easy to miss as it's located behind a car/tire workshop. It was a stroke of luck that we found this place. We were not looking for coffee but when we pulled in to get a tire fixed we wanted somewhere to wait. We saw this place behind the tire dealership and decided to try it. It was a very fortuitous choice. We found the staff to be extremely friendly. The coffee is we got work excellent. And the pastries we tried were all delicious. The only drawback's are that it is a little hard to find. Also the building is somewhat old and the furnishings seem to be re-purposed from The owners home, or thrift stores. However it does it make the place look like a dive instead it makes it look more homey. We just left this little gem, I got an Americano and it was done perfectly and had that classic coffee creama on top! My husband got a burrito which he said was awesome and I went with their baked oatmeal and let me say I have no clue what their secret is to making their oatmeal but it was spectacular! So glad we stopped here on our way to Ohio. You really do get real coffee and the owner of the shop was so sweet! We even met a local who has his own wildlife photography in the shop and he told us about the wild mustang loop if we wanted to see some wildlife. The shop was super cute too! While the coffee's ok (not amazing), the owner leaves something HUGE to be desired. I've never been treated so bad (without reason!) in my life. Doesn't say hello when you come to the window, doesn't smile at ALL, won't acknowledge you or respond to "how are you" at all... it's so, so bizarre. I even tried to buy a $50 gift card for my mom, and the woman made it all but impossible. I was like HERE TAKE MY MONEY, but nope. I'd rather drink bad coffee and be treated better at the place up the street. Hey, owner! You are in the WRONG business. And, PS--I grew up here, so it's not a cultural thing or a misunderstanding.
