This place is just off N 5th on E. Flaming George Lane across the street from some old run down office buidling. The service is very amiable. You'll actually have the opportunity to interact with a rarity: someone from Wyoming, the least populated state in the US. The fries are made with Yukon Gold potatos. I thought that was interesting. They do specialize in burgers and fries, but I managed to have a halibut sandwich that wasn't all that bad. They even put tomatos on in for me when I asked for it. An intriguing anomaly of Arctic Circle is that they did not have any ketchup in the container, but next to it was a "fry sauce" container. It's a light pinkish/orange color with a very smooth texture. Probably Thousand Island dressing? The service was very kind as the young lady who brought the burger to me on a tray apologized to me for the delay because she dropped the first one. All in all, after a long 400 mile drive from Elko just to get here, it was a very nice break point, still 488 miles from my single day destination of North Plate, Nebraska.

Nothing appeared on the screen showing the discount in fuel I should get. Nothing. Fueled till the tank was full. Today same thing happened no discount. Went inside L and J and ask the two clerks inside if L and J doesn't honor Smith's fuel card anymore. They said yes but the "readers" were broke. I then ask them, "how hard is it to place a sign out there stating that." All I got were blank stares. If I had known I could have went to another L an J here in town. If you want to get cheated on the amount of Sinclair gas you fill up...this is the place. I…read morestopped for gas and had approx 3 gallons of gas left in my 20 gallon tank, which means I should have filled up with about 17 gallons. My receipt read 20.242 gallons. That math does not add up. My car does not hold 23.242 gallons. Their meters are over charging for the amount of gas you put in the car plus the automatic shut off on the pumps continues to pump gas after the tank is full. Good thing I was standing there as gas began flooding out the tank (about a cup over flowed). When I talked to the counter person they agreed and called the manager. The manager told him I was charged the correct amount for the higher priced gas I put in the car. But that was not my issue, it was the overcharge for the gallons. This place will cheat you!!!!
