The portions were big and a good value. The disappointing thing was that the meat was sliced deli meat not homemade. I had the open faced roast beef and my wife had the corned beef and hash. We were passing through Green River around lunchtime so i went to the Around Me app and read the reviews on Yelp for Gudino's so decided to give them a try and were so glad we did! It doesn't look like much from the outside but inside was warm, clean and very friendly. The food was phenomenal and plentiful and came out quickly. They have a large menu selection and the prices were good. I had the catfish dinner special which included two large catfish filets, soup or salad (I chose the clam chowder- best clam chowder I've had in a very long time), choice of potato (I had the hand cut homemade French fries) vegetables, and dinner roll. Hubby had country fried steak and eggs with hashbrowns and toast. The waitress was super nice and attentive. They are connected to the Red Feather Sports bar and will deliver meals there, or you can order drinks from the bar if you're eating in the cafe. Win win! We highly recommend Gudino's! Stopped in for brunch (well a very late breakfast) on the way to Casper. Very glad we did. Tried the corned beef hash scramble, which is real corned beef hash and home made, not canned. Outstanding and a bargain! Also the coffee is very good-- I think I finished off three cups. Visited this place a little over a week ago after returning home (GR) after 16 years. We were quickly greeted and seated - it was rather quiet this morning of our visit. Our food was great, delivered to our table hot and fresh. Service was a bit slow and we had to flag our waitress down after not being able to get her attention for some time, to get syrup for the pancake. My husband didn't eat much of it since it cold by the time we got the syrup but he did say it was one of the best blueberry pancakes he'd had in a long time. Overall a great meal and will be back next time in GR. read more

Hidden Gem, YES! We found a new stopping place on our way home to Nebraska. Attentive service, REFRESHING! We shared a club with hand cut fries and onion rings. Both were note worthy. We stopped in for breakfast here because our hotel didn't have breakfast. Strangely, we were the only ones in the restaurant on a Saturday morning at breakfast time a few people came in as we were leaving the food was good. The service is very good. I'd recommend it typical fair, pancakes, bacon, eggs, biscuits, and gravy things like that. read more

We were in Greek River to visit a couple quilt shops and decided to have lunch in town. My wife found Gudino's and I am glad she did. It has an extensive menu and everything we had was quite good. Friendly waitress and helpful too. I wanted a special plate and she didn't make a fuss. Felt at home. Sampled everything. Very good and made right. French toast perfect with lots of whipped butter on top. Biscuits handmade and delicious. Not sure about the gravy - a little bland (needs salt?) and sausage overdone but better than underdone. We ate here for a Wednesday night dinner driving through town for the first time. The ratings on Google we're fairly high, so we thought it was worth a shot. It did not disappoint. Prices were reasonable and the portions were large, especially the kids meals. Loved that the kids' placemats were a color-in map of the US, which was fun since we were traveling. I ordered the French dip sandwich with fries. The fries were not fully cooked and the sandwich was dry and silvery. I couldn't use the au jus because it had msg in it. I left more than half the sandwich on my plate and our server didn't even ask If she could take it off the bill. The total of the meal was pricey for the quality of the food. Driving through on long trip and wanted a sit down restaurant. Saw this on our Google search with great ratings... almost turned around and left when we arrived because we weren't too sure, but the Google reviews were pretty high so we went on in and are SOOO glad we did. The FRIENDLIEST staff and customers and the food was excellent diner food. Definitely can't judge a place by its outdoor appearances!
