A First for everything, tried kayaking for the first time under the guidance of Jeremy at Get Up And Go Kayaking. From booking the tour to the actual experience was perfection and a well needed escape. Jeremy was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the eco system at Gilchrist blue and the habitats. He helps you get in and out of your Kayak and free use of dry bags if need be! The icing on the kayak was how good he can maneuver to take the best pictures for your memories. All in all I will use Get up and go kayaking again, of which they do different locations!

What an awesome time!!! This was a celebration excursion for my mom, sister and myself who were celebrating October birthdays. The hubby came with too. The clear kayaks made you feel closer to and apart of the water. It was cool to experience going through some of the canals on the Chain of Lakes, which I have never experienced. The multimillion-dollar homes that are on the water are inspirational as much as they are beautiful. Our guide was excellent and had some interesting facts about the homes, nature, and history. To be on the lake at sunset was breathtaking and relaxing. If I wasn't on a tour I would just lay back and chill looking up at the sky. Great for visitors and locals. My family, who were visiting, loved it. Highly recommend.

Megan was such a wonderful tour Gide at Rock Springs Clear Kayak Tour!! She made our experience one we will never forget and be very grateful for. The atmosphere was breathtaking, the clear kayak is the only way to go. Megan's upbeat and energetic attitude made this tour even more enjoyable. We are so thankful for her. Megan was very knowledgeable about the wildlife we encountered and the surrounding nature. She even took the time to take multiple photos of us throughout our excursion.

This was by far the most fun we have had kayaking. Keith was incredible! The lakes were beautiful. The canals were so awesome. And the houses. Woah. They were beautiful but what made it worth it is Keith giving us so much history and even present day info. The history is so so interesting! We would definitely make this a must do on every visit to Orlando. Our kids would enjoy this so much. We did the sunset kayak tour. We were considering the glow one but decided we wanted a good view of the beautiful tropical plants and trees and then the homes. Maybe next time since we have seen it before! There was another option at another location for a bioluminescence tour but the moon has to be a certain way for it to be a good turn out and that wasn't the night for us. Bottom line is if you are looking for something outside of the obvious choices like Disney and Universal and the whale then stop looking and book a tour. It was amazing. I'm sad we couldn't keep going to enjoy it again and again this trip.

Im giving this 5 stars because it's truly an amazing place! If you've you've been on Jungle Cruise at Disneyland (CA), there are sections that remind me of it...but REAL! The race to the end is NOT easy but it's worth it! MEGAN our guide was wonderful! Super friendly, cheerful and encouraging! Now...I was told (not by Megan) that the first 20-30 minutes were rough because it was upstream, but that's not the case! The ENTIRE way UP is very challenging! Very! So, if you're not in decent shape, forget it, you won't make it. It took us close to 2 hours to "make it to the blue" and a couple of people in my party wanted to give up. It was also rough for my 11 year old daughter. At one point, she and I got OFF the Kayak, pulled it but wouldn't advance due to the strength I'd the current, no joke! There are deep pockets so it got a bit scary for a minute . We did NOT see animals and the sand was nice and smooth. The water was crystal clear. There was a lot of traffic and kayaks kept bumping into each other but that's the nature of the beast. Aside from it all, it was an amazing experience and do-able. Do I regret it? Absolutely NOT! I'm very happy I got to the end and you should, too! Life is short. Go for it!

Such an amazing experience on the Glow-In-The-Dark Kayaking tour last night. Carlynn was a great guide. She was so friendly and passionate about the area, homes, and wildlife. The tour started in Lake Virginia right near Rollins College, then went to Lake Osceola, followed by Lake Maitland. It was a beautiful time to kayak as there were nearly no boats on the water. Between each lake you go through beautiful canals It was about a 5mi trip but was very easy to do. Highly recommend for a fun date night!

Had a great Saturday evening doing the glow kayak tour. Caland was an awesome guide - very friendly and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend. Wear byline shorts or bathing suit as your bottom will get wet. Paddling was not difficult and the experience was relaxing.

I had an absolute blast with this tour guide! He was so friendly and awesome to be around! Going up and down the river in clear bottom kayaks was also a blast since you could see all the wildlife floating beneath you. Additionally if you have some extra items that you don't want to get wet he'll lock them up in the trailer for you till you get back.

I JUST WANNA SAY CHRIS WAS AMAZING!!! We had a fantastic time i definitely would recommend awesome experience. I will definitely be back soon.

AMAZING tour!! The sights were breathtaking, especially during the 9am tour, the fog on the water was eerily beautiful. Ashely A. is very knowledgeable about the environment and the history of the area. We learned so much from her and really enjoyed the entire experience. Cannot recommend this tour enough! A MUST!!

So glad we came across this activity! My husband kept thanking me throughout the entirety of the kayak ride. We did luck out with cloud cover, so the moon was not interrupting our experience at all! So I think it is key (if possible) to schedule on an evening with no moon. I would recommend this to everyone! We brought our 2 teenage kids with us and it was a big hit. We were super worried about the mosquitos, but it appears the extra doses of bug spray did the job. We sprayed at 8pm and then again at 8:30pm for the 9pm ride. And we wore long sleeves and pants as recommended on their website. Our guides were perfect too (I think their names were Scott and a Kim).

The tours are on a first come, first serve basis and leave every hour on the hour. One of the canals was closed for construction when we went but it was truly still so lovely. Our tour guide provided so much history and information! Pro-Tip: SUNSCREEN, handheld fans and water. The boats are not covered and it can get very hot. They do not allow umbrellas for cover. This tour has been around for a while and I can't believe this was my first time taking one. I absolutely had the best time. Looking forward to bringing more visitors to do something so very central Florida! It's grand!

Here is what you need to know: - Time Investment: One Hour (In my opinion, the perfect amount of time) - Investment: $20 for adults, $10 for children. Truly a deal and enjoyable for all ages. - What you will see/learn: If you like history, nature, or just getting a really good tan you will not be disappointed. The true highlight was getting all the tea about the beautiful houses that line the canal and their owners. - Tips: Bring water, sunscreen, and a good hat. If you are hard of hearing, sit near the front. There is a bathroom right before you purchase the tickets and a small covered seated area if you come early. The ride is very gentle and my four year old took a nice little nap as soon as the motor started running. It can get really hot so I recommend booking an early or late afternoon tour if you are sensitive to the sun. We all had lots of fun.

My husband already has a kayak, so I just rented a single kayak for a half day, 3 hrs (they also have two person kayaks and a full day option). When I called Joe from Peace of Mind informed me that he was already at Dinky Dock (my preferred put-in location) and he was able to accommodate a rental with very short notice I (I think I gave him 45 minutes). I also appreciated that we could pay with a credit card at the rental location. Even though it wasn't part of a formal tour, I felt so well taken care of. Immediately upon arrive Joe greeted me by name and the equipment (kayak, life vest, paddle) was ready to go. I was provided with a laminated map of the lakes and the canals, a ziplock bag for my phone, and some tips about navigating the area. Joe even helped carry my husband's kayak so we could launch at the same time, even though he was not renting from them. When we returned to the beach after a wonderful couple hours on the lakes, Joe met us on the beach immediately. Overall excellent service- the rental process couldn't have been smoother. The equipment was no-frills but well maintained. Dinky dock is a perfect starting spot for a self-guided tour of the MUST SEE Winter Park Chain of Lakes.
