The chapel is beautiful and well maintained as well. Many of our relatives and my husband's parents are buried there. I did not have a 'hand' in planning any of the funerals, but I did attend them, as well as many unveilings (A Jewish traditon) of headstones. Clover Hill is where my grandparents are buried. I recently attended a funeral for my grandfather at CHPC, and while I wouldn't have chosen to spend my Wednesday afternoon at a cemetery, it was a beautiful few hours that celebrated his 92 years on this earth. The staff were helpful and the grounds are well kept. When my sister's car wouldn't start after the funeral, the staff actually helped her jump it so she could come home to mourn with the rest of the family. I wish I would have taken a picture to share, but that wasn't on my mind on the day of the funeral, but this really is a peaceful place. If you're reading this while dealing with a death in the family, my heart goes out to you. It's worth mentioning that despite the five star review, I hope not to find myself back at CHPC anytime soon, unless of course I head to visit my grandparents there.

I think this may have had a different name prior. This was not an expected death. We knew that our loved one had indicated that cremation would be their request which made one of the choices faced by family somewhat comforting. If that can even be possible. Telephonic contact at 6am was prompt and professional. Staff during the funeral was kind and helpful. As one will experience the cost of a funeral is shocking. We chose a short viewing on a Sunday which everyone was pleased with: Family 12-1pm and open viewing 1-4pm. A short wake at Fern Hill Country Club(see review). Let me leave some information here that you will not see in the cremation casket photo. **We chose the Kenzie I think it is called. The cremation casket that is a steel blue in color that opens like a traditional casket but covered in a Demask fabric. A simple cross placed inside. We feared the casket would be unsightly ,however, it was actually very nice!!! We asked for the floral spray to be just slightly larger to cover the portion of the casket that is over the lower body(Van Maele Florest Clinton Township Michigan, see review). It was perfect and even if it had not been slightly larger it would have been fine. You can also use a blanket with the persons fav sports team draped over the area with or without flowers? Two very large sized poinsettias on each side. A few lanterns with battery operated candles, and what a beautiful setting. Listen to this florist! This is big business let's face it. Prices are high but this florist will do for you what they can and make suggestions to make the viewing beautiful. If you are reading this I am sorry for your loss. We were comfortable in the lobby and in the consultation room. We were offered complimentary bottled water, which is nice when you're bone dry from crying for hours straight. We made it clear from the beginning we didn't want a funeral or even viewing service. The salesperson was respectful of that and moved forward with going over cremation services. The cremation service itself is carried out by another company and was only like $600? But for some reason, the funeral home charges almost $3000 on top of that for their time and services. That seems wild to me for someone who didn't want viewing, mourning services, visitation, etc. It's expensive to live and it's expensive to die. The salesperson was friendly and mostly respectful, although we could hear the misogyny when he spoke to my husband directly, and not his sister, who was actually handling all the business. Don't like that. But he accommodated all of our simple requests without fuss. Besides the oldschool mentality of our salesperson, it was a fine place to spend a couple hours talking about a dead person.

She had thoughtfully paid for everything 32 years in advance, intending to spare us any burden. Unfortunately, after the original funeral home owner retired and transferred her contract to another funeral home, I encountered a very distressing situation with them that was dismissive, rude, and suddenly demanding additional money despite previously telling me everything was fully covered. I was shocked, overwhelmed, and honestly heartbroken all over again. That's when I found Mr. Patrick Lynch and Lynch & Sons Funeral Home--and everything changed. I called after hours on Friday and left a message, not expecting to hear back until Monday. To my surprise, Patrick Lynch called me back within 10 minutes. He spent 45 minutes on the phone with me, patiently explaining everything, going over the other funeral home's statement line by line, and helping me understand what was actually going on. He was calm, compassionate, and incredibly knowledgeable. More importantly, he genuinely cared. For the first time since my mom passed, I felt a sense of peace and relief. I immediately knew I wanted to move my mother into their care. The next morning at exactly 10 AM, just as promised, his son Paddy Lynch called me. From that point on, everything was seamless. Paddy was kind, attentive, and so easy to work with. He handled every detail with grace and professionalism, making a very difficult process feel manageable. They helped me create a funeral that was truly beautiful and elegant--far beyond anything I could have hoped for. Even though my mother was not embalmed and went directly to the church, everything was handled flawlessly. One of the most special touches was the Juilliard-trained violinist, Sonia they arranged, which made the service incredibly moving and unforgettable. The entire experience was handled with such sensitivity, dignity, and care. In a time of deep grief and despair, Patrick and Paddy Lynch were not just helpful-- they were a source of light, compassion, comfort, strength and steady support. They treated me like family, not just a client. My mother's funeral was absolutely perfect--graceful, meaningful, and filled with love.
