I've been a member for over a year now, and my experience has been consistently positive. One of…read morethe things I appreciate most is the variety each coach brings to class. Coach Josh, Jazzmine, Kevin and Brenda have their own style and structure which is awesome to experience in the week. They each demonstrate the techniques and sets before you begin and assist if they see you need some adjustments. There was never a moment where I felt intimidated regardless of the gibberish (KBXC language) they write on the white boards. You learn to make sense of it all while watching your neighbor or reciting the code for yourself. I am always motivated and engaged and keep coming for more. I've been learning new ways to train and kickboxing has been keeping my mind and body agile. Another huge plus is the flexible schedule. With both morning and evening classes available, it's easy to fit workouts into my lifestyle.

I signed up and have been a member ever since. I love the more personal setting compared to a typical gym. It's great for all fitness levels, and most importantly, I've felt a real difference in my strength, mobility, and overall workouts. If you're tired of the same gym routine, these classes are a great option--they include strength training, cardio, coordination, and balance. Highly recommend!

What I found here? A training ground that fuels muscle, mindset, and motivation. The coaches bring nonstop energy and crystal-clear instruction. Even if you're new, you'll learn exactly how to jab, cross, and kick your way into a full-body workout. Every class leaves me drenched, heart pounding, and closer to trimming my big snuggly belly. Now, I'll admit, the workouts can be tough enough to melt a polar bear's fur, but scaled so anyone can keep up: burpees, climbers, lunges, and more. But strangely... not a single bear crawl across the studio. Were they sparing my feelings? Afraid of offending the only bear in the room? Because honestly, that's my favorite move. The best part? The community. No judgment here; whether you're an adult cub just starting out or a seasoned beast, everyone's cheering you on to push harder, sweat more, and roar a little louder. These paws might be built for snow, Coca-Cola bottles, and belly rubs, but here they've learned to glove up and unleash on the bags. This is a workout that bites back and pushes you past what you thought possible. 10/10 would recommend. S&J Fitness is the rare den where even a polar bear feels at home.

They are professional, encouraging, and they are VERY knowledgeable in the world of jiu jitsu and muay thai. We've tried both their Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu program and it's DAMN LEGIT. If you have children ages 4-54, send them here. They offer free trials for self defense, muay thai, and jiu jitsu. Can I also say that they throw the best parties!??!?! Looking for a place to host your kid's birthday party? LOOK NO FURTHER. What really sets this place apart from other local BJJ gyms is the community culture. They are welcoming, clean, safe and it's full of people who genuinely care about each other. The coaches break down technique and also take the time to teach that ONE child who is struggling, while everyone else is doing their warm ups. That is TRUE dedication. My kid has grown so much in confidence and focus since joining. This isn't just any kind of gym.... it's FAMILY, and a place where you actually look forward to showing up.

This is a fantastic learning community with amazing instructors and an incredible professor. There is a great group of students of various levels that are mindful of your comfort as well. This boy then proceeded to slam my son dome down with so much force he hit the back of his head against the floor mat. The advanced boy then put my son in a choke hold, My son was terrified and began to cry while he was being choked. As a concerned parent I stepped in to speak with the teacher that was supervising them and tell him to stop this immediately, my son is a beginner and he shouldn't have been placed with someone as advanced as the other little boy. When I asked him why would they put a beginner student with an advanced student, the teacher replied with, "this is how they learn." The anger I felt at that moment was so strong, how can a child be expected to learn such advanced fighting maneuvers when he is getting knocked down at every try? The answer to me seems like they wanted them to fight because my son is tall for his age, they were using this as mini fight club due to my sons size instead of a teaching moment. My son is only 5 and just starting this program. He should have never been put to "fight" with a child that has been training in this for months. The blatant disregard by the teachers to seeing my son terrified and crying is infuriating. It truly shows that they do not care for the safety of our kids. I quickly went to my son and the other boy and told him to let my son go, I grabbed my son and went home. I will not be bringing my son here again, they do not care about kids safety and will stand there doing nothing while your child cries and is full of fear.
