I've been coming here for years but on Saturday one of the rollers came down and hit my car hard and broke off this piece. It's been two days and I still have not heard from the owners. Will be canceling my membership for sure. They are saying since no other car (that they know of) got damaged that day that is must be something that was wrong with my car. The owner will not contact me. He's only having his employees talk to me. Finally found out the owner's name. Several people in the area have said they've had a similar experience. Parts breaking off their cars and they do not care. Definitely need to look into filing a complaint with the better business bureau. read more

Out of all the car wash options in our area, GFY offers the best service. Prices are comparable to other drive thru washes but GFY will actually scrub your grill, windshield, rear of vehicle with soap and brush before entering. Well maintained and always clean. This place has went from Awesome to a absolute Dump. It was well kept and you could tell the owner took pride in it. Now, it is has just been run into the ground. The employees are lazy and don't do anything more than they have too. Even when they brush down your vehicle before going in the wash it is done in a haft ass way and you can tell they only do it cause the have too. There is now trash everywhere and you can tell they don't clean the vacuum areas at all anymore. They don't cut the grass for months and when the place is closed you would think it has shutdown! Obviously under new management that doesn't care about the wash and is putting all the money some place else. They need to get there act together or they are going to loose this Business all together. read more

Today I chose the $10 wash option, not the cheapest and not the most expensive. For the price it was a really good wash, but I do have a large SUV (FJ Cruiser) and there were definite missed spots on the vehicle from the brushes/soap. They pre-brushed off the windshield and front of the vehicle, but I still had bug guts and the like on the front. The vacuum section is actually better than most car washes I've been to though. It's clean, vacuums all work, and the air nozzles aren't missing! read more

If you are an optimist, I guess you can say my first (and likely last) carwash here lasted me an entire year - but that wasn't by choice. December 24, 2017, after getting a car inspection I was headed to a different car wash on FM 2920, but on the way I passed a GFY Express Car Wash (a business I hadn't noticed before, having lived in the area since 2003) on Kuykendahl so I decided to give them a shot. I turned into the car wash, and pulled around to the pay station/kiosk where a young man that pressed all the buttons and swiped my card for the transaction then escorted me around to prepare for the wash tunnel entrance greeted me. While being directed and positioned to get on the rollers, I followed the instructions of putting the car in neutral and began to read the smaller sign to the left of the larger instructions - until the wash crew began to pre-treat the car and further obstructed the view to the signage on the tunnel. While in the wash tunnel, I noticed that machinery broke my driver side mirror and left it dangling by wires. So, once the wash was complete I exited and pulled up alongside the wash tunnel to get the attention but unbeknownst to me there must have been some magical soap in the wash to make me an my car invisible because no staff member would talk to or approach me after looking in my direction and seeing the damaged mirror. I finally get the attention of a young man, who tells me he is currently the person in charge, and tell him I need to speak to someone about the damage to my car. He then asks how old my car is, I let him know, then he does some mental math (assisted by his fingers) to tell me "Yeah, we aren't responsible", I ask him why, and he goes to mention a sign on the tunnel (that was obstructed by the pay kiosk, the person escorting, and the pre-wash crew), I let him know I couldn't do that so I asked to speak with the owner, to which he goes to grab the telephone and puts me in contact with Bobbie M. (seen below in the comments of other reviews). At this point, there is no remorse for the damage, or care provided for the damage by a staff member, spoiler alert... that doesn't change. I let Bobbie know about the situation, she replies "Our wash couldn't have done the damage because it would have damaged all the cars before and after yours", to which I let her know that I just came from getting a car inspection and the mirror was perfectly attached before. Bobbie then let me know that she is "just trying to celebrate the holidays away from the business" (like I wanted to celebrate Christmas eve in this way...) to which I let her know that I would just take some pictures and fill out her damage claim report and I would return after the holiday. She asked me to speak with manager Roxanne N. after the holiday. I take the pictures; notice a subpar wash (but I only got the $6 wash so maybe I got what I paid for.... and then some) and let down my window to bring the mirror inside and prevent the dangling piece from further damaging the car. I got quotes for the repair ahead of my meeting with Roxanne; the meeting with Roxanne was dismissive so I called the cops for further assistance. Police reviewed the recorded footage and verified the mirror was damaged in the wash and advised me to file a civil lawsuit. I followed the advice and had the longest road to a resolution (a few days shy of a year) after the longest coldest day in small claims court, fun fact: in the event you need the information, Bobbie M. is not listed as the official business owner, nor the managing partner (despite what the business card says), if you need to file a lawsuit. The business will not provide you with this information, but be sure to look that information up before filing suit. While the car wash was $6 in price, the cost to file the lawsuit was $200 (not including other related costs) so I would advise you others to stick with car washes they are familiar with or you could be in a similar situation. You may have better luck than I had with this business, so I wish you and this business all the best in your future interaction(s). read more

Reasonably priced drive thru did an excellent job on my car. The guys pre-scrubbed which I appreciate. I had to touch up my rims done but that is very typical. I was not looking forward to vacuuming my car because it's hard work so I agreed to myself to do a quick job. The vacuum was no only free but so strong and easy to use (there is one on each side of the car) that I did a thorough job. Good job guys! read more

There are many, many car washes in this area. This particular car wash averages what you would pay at all the other locations. Difference is you get more for the money. The property is always clean and the staff are very helpful. I get a consistently clean vehicle each time I visit. The vacuums work great. They even have air spray to blow out all the interior nooks and crannies. read more

For a drive thru / self service wash this does the job. I usually get the basic but will sometimes upgrade a service. The only thing I think isn't worth it is the dry and shine, never dries the back window. Otherwise love it. Vacuums are strong and usually free (on weekdays) and I love to use the high pressure air to blow out the dust and crap that accumulates on the dash. read more

This place may be good at getting your dust off for $8 or whatever it is. But for $20, I still had to spend thirty minutes cleaning the bugs off the hood and front bumper, cleaning the rear end, and re-cleaning my wheels. The windshield also wasn't clean. I would expect that if it was my Mini cooper but this was a Dodge Durango so the brushes should have had no problem reaching all areas. read more

Just paid for the highest cleaning they offer (and I have a monthly subscription for my other vehicle), the final towel ripped off my windshield wipers. I went to ask what could be done to fix it and the assistant manager ( noon 11/29/22) told me it wasn't their fault and it was my fault. I asked for a card of someone above him that could help since he couldn't and he told me he was the person to talk to and basically told me to "screw off". I usually get my car washes here because it's right outside my neighborhood but after last night's frustration I will never go there again. The haunted car wash created a disaster for my neighborhood. We were literally trapped in our homes or unable to return to our homes until they closed. The line went through our neighborhood blocking residence from leaving or entering the neighborhood. I won't even begin on the liter and noise. The car wash is fun but this year it caused a great annoyance. Please find a better way to line up patrons and not disturb the neighborhood. read more

Incredibly clean location, and a fantastic car wash. What's more to ask? Well, the vacuums are AWESOME and they even have an air gun to blow out the corners. I've never waited in line, and have a GFY card so I just breeze through. The car wash attendants are very mindful to antennas, mirrors and items in the bed of your truck. For an express car wash this place does a great job! It's all self serve but the actual wash really cleans your car!

Does a decent job of getting your vehicle clean. Doesn't do much for the tires unless you buy a premium wash package. The $6 basic wash did a pretty good job. Doesn't dry very well but having the compressed air nozzle at the vacuums is a great plus for getting water out of mirrors and trim. Vacuums are powerful but suction drops dramatically if there are more than about 5 cars using them. Now for the bad. The price for the basic wash went up nearly 35% ! Was $6 now 8$. Definitely not worth it. If you look at the packages they offer, they are simply subsidizing the cost of getting a "daily wash" by charging more for the basic. There are discounts for every level of wash except for the basic! To me, this is not good business and I'll be going elsewhere. There are plenty of car washes that appreciate their customers and don't gouge them on price. read more

Absolutely terrible. I spent $15 on a carwash...and left the carwash with soap still on my car. I came back the next day after-seeing the soap-on my car and asked to get my money refunded. After waiting for about 15 minutes for the manager to return with my cash all I was told was that the system has been reset and there was no way to get my money back. Beyond disappointed. read more

I live in the neighborhood down from this car wash. They are so irresponsible. They installed LIGHTS for Halloween (woohoo you get a spooky car wash- you've got to be kidding) which has caused such a traffic problem. They should be responsible enough to hire police for traffic control because we can not get out of our neighborhood. Good job alienating all of your close regular customers. But unfortunately, I have 1 family member and an acquaintance who have had their cars damaged during the process of washing their cars. I am from Indianapolis area so the car wash market is extremely competitive. I purchased the second most expensive package and was a little disappointed. The tire shine appeared to be spray of Armour All and did not leave shine. The drying mechanism did not do a very good of drying my vehicle. The attendants on hand were friendly and helpful and one carefully followed my car from the outside as it went through the process. Another plus was free vacuum stations. I would recommend the basic wash. read more

There is absolutely no need to wait for the weekend to get your car sparkling clean. This car wash is open until at least 10 pm every night. It also opens as early as 7 am. And if you ever have a problem there is always someone there to help! Friendly and fast service. read more

This place was decent for the price. I was content with with car wash, but it does not clean your vehicle completely(there are always spots that don't get scrubbed). I had a membership here for a few months and everything was fine, but this last time I went through the car wash, the young employees did not press the right button and the car wash ended up snapping off my light bar. I went in and made an incident report with the shift leader who was very nice. However, when I received a call from the manager, Roxanne Noble, she was very straight to the point and said they will not do anything to help me replace my light bar. I cancelled my membership here, but I did not get anything for the damage that was done. I gave Roxanne another opportunity to offer me anything and she was quick to reply that there was nothing they could do. I have to admit that I expected more from GFY, especially after talking to the operator plenty of times and checking in multiple times to help promote their business. I am very disappointed and I am going back to touch free car washes and recommend the same for everyone. read more
