My first 6 star non-food review!!! Y'all. Seriously. So let me tell you a short story: 2017 Yukon XL, myself, 1 manly husband, 2 filthy kids, 3 miniature donkeys, 1 goat, multiple chickens, 2 regular dogs, 1 prairie dog, 1 cat and a partridge in a pear tree. There are fragments of each of those listed, plus food particles, toys, farm grossness, the remnants of a 9 state road trip to the Smoky Mountains and one extremely dusty business trip to the hill country for a quick deer hunt. Ew. Sans a carpet cleaning because I have the WeatherTech mats and my car is only a few months old, clearly I needed the most expensive, most detailed, Big Daddy wash (whatever it's called, it was only around $120).......... Not only could I have licked my floor mats when I picked up my car from Star Hand but I could have licked my tires, fender wells and steering wheel. Would it have been weird? Yes. But I could have done it. My car was far cleaner than the day I purchased it off the car lot and to be honest cleaner than ANY car I've ever purchased off a car lot. They cleaned UNDER my WeatherTech mats and pulled up all my seat protectors, cleaned underneath them AND cleaned the seat protector. WHO DOES THAT?!?! ADDITIONALLY, they stayed after-hours in order for me to get there to pick up the car AND had a smile on their faces when I finally got there to get it. Bottom line: the best car detail I've ever seen or experienced. Some of the nicest people I've ever dealt with and the most affordable car detail I've ever gotten. WINS ALL AROUND!!! P.S. This place is totally worth traveling to in order to get the best car clean of your life. I'm recommending Star to my all my Woodlands and Brenham/Navasota people. read more

This is a locally owned shop. Nothing fancy here but the owner is friendly, knowledgeable and the staff did a great job on cleaning my SUV. It was a rough job b/c kids are hard on the SUV. $40 to clean the inside and out. Happy customer! read more

Best car wash I have ever had. The detailing of the inside felt like a new car. I will be going back.

My Jeep was nasty dirty today. I have three dogs so you can only imagine the dog hair in the back. Star Hand Car Wash did a fantastic job of detailing it. I didn't see any dog hair after they cleaned it. The owners are super nice as well. I highly recommend this place. read more

This place was great! The previous reviews are accurate. The staff was friendly and let me know the average wait time to get my truck cleaned. After reading the reviews, it was well worth the wait. The truck looked like it was brand new; Even the door sills were clean. Interior was phenomenal, and they didn't use any solvents that had a strong odor; I could still detect my new car smell. The price was around $40, but in my opinion well worth it. I'll be taking my cars there from no on! read more

Always do a good job better than 9 times out of 10 and when it's not a great job it's still better than any other car wash around. They take care of it as if it's their own car and do it like you would like to if you had the time. And the one bad review they have is not a good review they are always flooded with cars and close early for convenience of their employees not having to wash in the winter or cold. Wish they could find more hard working people so they could grow and be able to handle more cars. If they weren't so great why is it so hard to get spot for your car to get washed and have at times been booked and had to refuse customers by noon speaks a lot about their quality of service. Recommended that you try and drop it off and not wait because you don't rush perfection. read more

Hands down the best car wash in north Houston. For 25$ the car looks like it just had $100 detail. Be prepared to wait or go next door for lunch and margaritas. This is a family run business and the service is always top notch. I the woodlands you would pay 40 for an aqua wash but not even close to the level of clean. It's not the easiest of location if you don't live near lake Conroe but if you like hand washes it's worth the drive read more

Bad business. They don't actually stick to the hours they have listed. I wouldn't recommend going here unless you feel like wasting your time when they decide to close early. We'll be going to a place we can count on being open when we need the truck washed. read more

I don't write a lot of reviews but I couldn't resist: especially since these people helped me afford a brand new car. I purchased the bumper to bumper detail for my Yukon XL which was quite inexpensive. Especially considering the fact I have five young children who, along with me and my wife, had helped dirty up the inside. They spent all day working in my truck and two days later I was able to get about 1500 bucks above the trade in value for my truck which ultimately helped our family afford a very beautiful brand new SUV.
