The doctors Dr. Atto & Alani obviously is so busy with everything but your health would not recommend a dog here if I could. Been going since covid health failed tremendously. If you dont listen now you will later the nurses practitioner is better than the doctors basically. Finding me a new doctor asap.. front desk the lady fax over my paperwork wrongly. I wouldn't recommend their business. Not only am I constantly on hold when I need to call to get something fixed, but I never received my referral to the Breast cancer office they were supposedly sending me too. Their verbal care is ok but not their physical care that should do. They are only good for reassurances. I've been waiting for weeks. I've been calling and even popped In for the referral yet still haven't gotten it. I'm so close with giving up on this doctor and office. Not to mention they let you stay on the phone for 10+ minutes before they physically hang up on you and not genuinely answering the call. They piss me off so much. Highly disappointing. read more

My husband and I used to think that Dr. Atto was a good doctor. Part of that is our fault, we assumed that he was a great doctor because he worked out of Henry Ford and Beaumont. We just recently made a conscious decision to get care elsewhere because he simply don't have time to listen or follow up with his patients. He has too many irons in the fire with the doctors that are working under him. If I had of read the reviews before seeing him, I would have not even consider him at all. He had me get some blood work done because my potassium was low. He or his staff didn't follow up with me via phone or sent a message in my chart. The next time I came in to see him, I asked again, "Why is my potassium dropping?" He asked me did I eat bananas, potatoes, etc....I told him that I did. He had me get more blood work done. After the test result came in on my chart, I realized that some of the tests he had done before and had the same result as before. I waited patiently to see if anyone would contact me. Thank God my husband had and appointment with another doctor that works at the office. He was able to go in and tell me my results. That is when I found out that I needed to see a Rheumatologist. In May, my husband was sent by one of his other doctors because his leg was swollen, and they called Dr. Atto and he was able to see him the same day. He explained to him that it wasn't his back and the pain started from his hips down his leg. He couldn't bend his knee and every time he walked it hurt. I asked him if it could be my husband knee that is causing the pain. I was told no because the pain was coming his hip and down his leg but, he would have them do a workup at the hospital with some orders. My husband was admitted to the hospital and spent 3 or 4 days there. All the work orders were filled except for the one work order for his knee. The doctors assumed that it was my husband's back just as Dr. Atto did. The hospital doctor gave him an Epidural Injection in his back because they saw nerve damage. No one bothered to check his knee. My husband had to lay on his back for hours and not move. A couple of days later, he was still in pain. He ended up seeing an orthopedic doctor who did an Xray and MRI of his knee. He found out that he had a Torn Meniscus. We must be our own advocate when it comes to our health. We must ask questions. When a doctor makes a choice to not follow up with nor listen to their patient and family members, IT IS A MUST THAT YOU LEAVE AND FIND HEALTH CARE ELSEWHERE. I do realize that they are PRACTICING MEDICINE and I don't have a problem with that. My problem is when you as a doctor forget why you became a doctor. read more

I totally agree what the other 2 people have said about Dr Atto's office staff. The girl that answers the phone all the time (at least I seem to always get her) is the rudest person I have ever dealt with in my life. She has even been rude to my elderly mother which is uncalled for. I have mentioned her to the Dr. but nothing came of it. I asked her 3 days ago to have Dr Atto call me and do you think that happened? Nope. I doubt she ever gave him the message. It may be time to switch PCP. read more

Dr. Atto is great but the front office staff is horrible. They don't mail out forms like they say they will and have twice billed my insurance with the wrong code, resulting in several hundred dollar bills. Fortunately, that could be reversed but it took several calls to the billing pathologist and the front office. read more

The office staff needs some work. They aren't the friendliest, nor do they seem to care very much. Dr. Atto is awesome though. He is easy to talk to and you feel very comfortable with him. Once you get in the room, you don't have to wait long before the doctor greets you. read more
