I came to the clinic for surgical clearance, hoping to just be in and out after receiving my CBC…read morepanel and a quick exam, but what followed was nothing short of a nightmare. The doctor demanded to do an EKG which was not required by my surgeon for clearance and I agreed to it because I figured better to be over prepared and know my results than not know. The office assistant (unclear of her medical training background, but I know every time she's drawn my blood she's really really struggled) placed the leads indiscriminately across my chest with little care or concern for accuracy and did the test. I waited and waited and waited and I overheard loud panicked chatter around the corner about my results. After a very long wait the doctor came in and told me I had had a silent heart attack and I was in poor health and she couldn't clear me for my surgery because of it and I needed to see a cardiologist immediately. Despite only being 28 years old, and not the obvious heart attack patient, I obviously took what she said very seriously and booked to see the cardiologist she recommended the next morning. Her team struggled to send a global referral that worked with my insurance, like they didn't know how to do it, and so I spent even more time waiting and waiting and waiting in the cardiologist's office. When I was finally seen, they preformed an EKG to confirm the results from Dr.Ghazi's office. The cardiologist immediately told me that the test had been preformed incorrectly at Dr.Ghazi's office and absolutely nothing was wrong with me, I had not had a heart attack, and my EKG was perfectly healthy. I was obviously rubbed the wrong way, but still wanting to just push through and just get the surgical clearance I need and move on. Today I received a call from my surgeons office stating that Dr.Ghazi's office called them and DEMANDED to see my whole history, notes, records and any documents they had, and were very rude to the staff for refusing to send them without my consent. Ever hear of HIPPA? The nurse at my surgeons office said that never in her whole career has a PCP even asked to see this confidential information let alone brutally demand it. What does she need to see it for? Either my labs are good enough to clear me for surgery or they are not. My labs speak for themselves and reading a record of the consultation i had with my surgeon will not change if it is medically safe for surgery to be performed. If they think my surgeon is just going to send out my paperwork willy nilly then how are they handling my private medical information at this office? This was the cherry on top for me. Also- bonus fun fact, when I did intake at a therapists office last year, the office manager told me he had also seen Dr.Ghazi as a PCP for some time and recommended that I find a new doctor because she had misdiagnosed him with BLOOD CANCER. This office is misdiagnosing everyone in our community with SEVERE health ailments, and I do not understand the motive. I should have listened to that office manager but I figured I could get my surgical clearance with little issue. This is what happens when they let the children who should have been left behind enter the medical field.

I have a fairly stressful life, and Dr. Shindler suggested that I give it a go to help relieve stress. Well after my first session, I was driving home, hit a TON of traffic on I-275, and it didn't bother me in the least. It was the strangest feeling in the world - like someone took my mean friend away, and I didn't realize how mean that little guy was until he was gone. I have had reflexology in the past, and thought, "sure this is a nice foot massage", but that is not what reflexology is in the least when you're with Ruth. It's just amazing, amazing work. She's passionate, perceptive, kind, and so so much more. I really don't have enough good words to say about Ruth. Give her a try, and you'll try to hunt me down to thank me for making your life awesome. Dr. Shindler is also awesome. He's very easy to talk to, and is open to different ways of healing, including hypnosis. I did hypnosis once, and he will make a recording of the session for you to do at home. This also helped me reduce stress levels - but obviously you can use hypnotism to help with a lot of different issues. Overall, there aren't enough words to express how thankful I am that this office is here... we so quickly brush off things like stress, and other life stuffs, and how they play a role in our health. I first chose his office because they were open to discussion regarding vaccinations. Together, we've made a schedule that works for us. We've also been seen by Michelle Hass, PA-C. She also provides great care. Since originally choosing their office primarily for my daughter, I've since started seeing them myself as well. They've been great with scheduling appointments for my daughter and myself back-to-back.

When I asked a year later what the results were and if there were impacting me, the doctor said, "what tests". I had been suffering with serious pain. They diagnosed it as IBS. FAST FORWARD I have gallstones. Maybe it wasn't the same but I feel as if due diligence had been done then I may have had more info on my health.

It's two days before Christmas and these guys are SLAMMED, but every single employee was so kind and kept their composure which I respect SO MUCH. The wait was 3.5 hours for me, but it was worth it.
