This bubble tea shop is tucked away in Ellerslie and is definitely worth visiting. The family that…read moreruns this shop are so kind and friendly! The selection of drinks is great and the prices are very reasonable. I have ordered many different drinks and they have all been delicious!

TL;DR: this place is such a hidden gem! Amazing prices and really tasty drinks and food. I…read moreabsolutely adore what they do here! I would definitely say that it is hard to come-by as it is located on a strip mall off Parsons Rd SW which makes it super low-key. During my first visit, I was pleasently surprised by their large selection of flavours. It is definitely a contrast from the small location size. The prices alone speak for themselves; I found them to be super cheap and fair especially when compared to other bubble tea stores. In terms of flavour, their bubble tea are super good and made with care! I have ordered the Mango and Avocado Real Fruit Bubble Tea with Milk and they are both amazing. The prices, again, are super unbeatable and cheap! Personally, I felt that their Tapioca was perfect: it was soft but had a little bit of chewiness. I also felt that the portioning of their tea and tapioca is great and definitely satisfying. The food, on the other hand, is a treat. I love their selection of hot dogs, noodles, and snacks. I have tried the Kare Kare Noodle Soup and it was pretty good as a small meal. Their hot dogs are also pretty delicious! I love the teriyaki sauce that was included in the one I ordered. I think it definitely pairs well with the bubble tea and not to mention their food is very cheap as well. The thing which I always appreciate about coming here is that I always leave satisfied in terms of the overall experience. I absolutely adore their service and friendliness. The lady on the counter was extremely nice and always lent a welcoming smile. The prices are super cheap as well and doesn't break the bank. This definitely encourages frequent visits and I would choose this place before even considering other bubble tea shops like CoCo. In addition, it is a huge plus that this place is a local business and definitely one that I would highly recommend!

Looking for bubble tea in the SouthEast side of YEG? KungFu tea is the place to be! I've actually…read morenever heard of this place, but a friend mentioned it to me & that they've recently had a grand opening. Location is in a neighbourhood stripmall, but it's in very close proximity to an elementary school, Grant MacEwan South Campus & near an ETS bus station, so I can see why it would be there. It does share a parking lot with the other shops there, so parking can be hit or miss. Inside has a lot of seating, no high chairs or change tables that I've seen. But it's clean, modern & has a TV displaying the feature drinks. Menu right now is only drinks, but there was display equipment leading me to believe that there is potential for food in the future?! The drink menu also runs along the lines of Coco's bubble tea where you can choose the level of sweetness & ice that's added to the drink. I ordered 3 of the top 10 drinks...strawberry lemonade with aloe jelly, taro milkshake with Oreo crumbles, and kungfu milk tea with sago. I liked them all and the price point wasn't too bad either. It didn't take them long to prepare & they were friendly & if you need drinks to go they have plastic bags, but also paper tray cup holders. I'm pretty impressed & although it wasn't busy, I can definitely see it getting that way in the summer months, and I'll probably be going back for more soon!

Another Bubble tea franchise with the sugar levelling system you must decide. To be honest I'm not…read morepicky about how much sugar there is so if your one of those people who are strict on your diet or what you intake, this place is definitely for you. I find that their selection is lacking fruity flavours that stand alone such as honey dew or cantaloupe and etc. They have their own pre made selections which is disappointing. The hangout space is big and welcoming but I feel that it's lacking that welcome home to chill and play games. I guess you can chit chat here for a bit but that's pretty much it. Washrooms are well kept, atmosphere is well lit, and staff is friendly. Parking is cramped due to stores nearby. The bubble tea drink is okay, I recommend getting the normal sized tapioca balls because the mini's are weird tasting and more risk for choking. Recommended for anyone looking to try a new bubble tea location but just to try. Unless you live near here it may be your go to spot for a quick fix.

Great little bubble tea place located in a strip mall. I've been coming here for a few years now…read moreand overall am usually happy with my drink. They have a pretty extensive bubble tea and drink menu. My go to is the pineapple bubble tea with mango jelly. I've tried other flavours but they just did not do it for me. Depending on what you order prices can be either reasonable or expensive especially if you go for the speciality drinks. The staff is always very kind and friendly. This place can get quite busy at times and you may sometimes need to wait in line for a bit before placing your order. There are a few tables however, most people tend to just grab and go. They also have board games available if you wish to stick around with some friends and play some games. When it comes to food, they have a small menu of items however, they are all deep fried type snacks like calamari, wings, fries, tempura etc. After years of only getting drinks I decided to try the calamari ($7.50). It was alright, 7/10. It comes with a garlic aioli dip which I did enjoy. The calamari is not very big (comes in a 4 inch take out container) therefore, just enough if you're looking for a little snack. Parking can be a bit of a challenge on a busy day as there are only a few stalls in front of the place, that saying, you can park in the strip mall lot and walk over.

This ice cream shack is just off Ellerslie Rd and offers foothills ice cream. The giant list is up…read moreon the shack itself. Ice cream itself is always good when it comes to foothills. However, with the constant flavor availability changing, there's a lot of tape over flavors and marker written vs the actual signage. This makes it very hard to read even 5 people away. Makes it a bit challenging to know who is in line, who is with the person ordering or who is just checking things out - as we're all trying to get close to read. Thought of improvement might be to have a few smaller sandwich boards (again, as there's always a line up) spaced out with some of the more popular or new flavors. The parking is in the church parking lot. So tons of parking that way. There is no path directly to the window or even up to the shack but the main sidewalk does pass by it off Ellerslie. This does make it a bit of a challenge for those with mobility aids or families with littles. As there's mini berm along the length of parking and a drainage area you need to cross to get near the shack or walk the full length of the parking lot to go in where it is more level (but I don't think more dry). They do have some carpet down to minimize the mud pit vibes closer to the shack itself. Minimal tables for such a LARGE crowd that shows up. Truly, I don't think I have passed by where there isn't a line. So if it's a dry day, I would just bring a blanket to sit on the berm. Lots of good grass but direct sun. So slather on that SPF for ice cream enjoyment. There is one port-a-pottie on the far end of the church side of the parking lot. Didn't use it but I noted it isn't something someone disabled would be able to use well. Overall, a well attended ice cream shack in the area.
