Love coming here for bubble tea. They are fast and can customize your drink to your liking. My kids love the fruity flavours and sweetness of the drink. The interior is cute they have one really long table (shared table) up front where people usually wait for their drinks. Closer to the doors there are a few smaller seating areas if you want to stay there to drink your bubble tea or have a snack. Some drinks are seasonal, for example the mango drinks, as they make their drinks with fresh fruit.

Indoor Takeout setup. Benches everywhere to social distance order wait.

Sanitizer is available upon entry, social distance is easy to follow especially since it's takeout only (no dine-in). The space allows for a lot of social distanced seating to wait for orders. Menu is posted on the side wall on posters with sticky notes over what is sold out and what they stop serving at 8:30 pm (re:coffee drinks). I think it's handy since it's hard to see the main display menu from cashier side. I don't remember the BBT menu being as extensive as it was when I last came here years ago. It's quite impressive yet overwhelming with the amount of choices here. I stuck to the classics and bought a Hokkaido pudding milk tea... that was really good...so good that my kids said it was delicious- a first I've heard for a basic BBT (and we have been to a lot of BBT places this past year in Edmonton, Calgary, and Vancouver). The food menu is very pared down though. Basically fries, takoyaki, green onion cake, not the exciting stuff that is posted from the older Yelp menu photos. They also have croiffles (croissant x waffle) menu here. I ordered cheesy fries and I can't complain: came with fork & napkin, double fried French fries for extra crispness so it wasn't soggy from being in a styrofoam container. Nacho cheese & sour cream was basic sauce, but that's clearly written on the menu description, plus I did like the extra hit of bacon bits. I'm glad I happened to revisit this place again by chance. I may have to make this one of my regular BBT options for YEG.

I haven't been to a lot of bubble tea places but this one is really nice to sit down and grab a bubble tea and a snack. They usually have a $1 snack with a bubble tea purchase which is a pretty good deal. I also like the fact that you can get either tapioca bubbles, popping bubbles or yogurt. Plus, the number of flavors they offer is unbelievable! I also really loved staying in and playing some games. You can find out the games the front counter when you place your order. It was great to sit down and wait for our order and play some games. I think it's a great way for the place to get more business because we certainly ended up ordering more! But I didn't mind - what a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

First time here. Service was good and pricing was really good. Ordered the Oreo shaved ice and it was delicious but the shaved portion could have been smoother and not as hard. Love the tables and the size of restaurant was decent. Overall if you like bubble tea and shaved ice can't go wrong here.

Green. Onion. Cake. 2 piece order.

A gentle aroma wafts by your nose, as a basket is brought out from the kitchen. A bite into the delightfully crisp yet tender and chewy pillow releases the aroma of its cradled savory green onions. First one piece, then another, and then another, and all too soon, your basket is empty. That's why you order two orders for yourself and don't share. This, this is the green onion cake experience I've only had the pleasure of experiencing in Edmonton. Me, I can only get my fix when I visit, which isn't often. It's a 2 day drive. I came. I saw. I ate green onion cake. A lot of it. And I regret nothing. 10/10 I would do it again. Not sure I could say the same for the drinks, which were only passable. Their selection of milky tea could use some expansion as well. Hot diggity damn though, I love me some green onion cake.

Oh, Heritage Dream Tea House - how long have you been here and how did I only just find you? I always visit your WEM location and here you are, practically in my backyard! This location trumps WEM hands down, it has ample seating and a beautiful wrap around wall mural that makes you feel as though you are drinking you bubble tea in the middle of some exotic beach island locale. Most importantly, the bubble tea! My Dream tea made with skim milk came out as good, if not better than at the West Ed location. It was definitely faster and the combination of fruit flavours was perfectly mixed. The tapioca pearls were perfectly chewy and the lychee jelly was soo good, perfection in a cup! I only regret that I am moving to Summerside in a few weeks, making this location, albeit still close, not right in my stomping grounds. Heritage Dream Tea House, I wish we had become aquatinted sooner!

They have lots of food now

This is the best bubble tea place in the city. Don't be fooled by those other places that don't even have fresh fruit! If you haven't had a fresh fruit bubble tea, you haven't had bubble tea! The place is really great to hang out with friends. You can sit and yack, or play one of the many games! And no, you don't have to be Asian to go here. Although I'm usually the only non-Asian there when I go, and I'm a pasty white 6 feet tall. If I can do it, you can too! Oh, bring cash because they have a surcharge for debit transactions under $10. And it loses one star because when I went there today, they really ripped me off on the tapioca and lychee jellies. I'll go back again, and who knows... Maybe I'll bump it to 5.

Many locations. I go to the one on 111 street. OR I get take out for parties. Its a small space with sit down area. Parking is shared so you will have to find one close to it. Right beside Maggie Tailors in a shopping complex. Service is fast. I love bubble tea and this is probably the best ones that make it in my experience.

    Kelly Z.

Definitely the slickest looking Dream Tea location. It's not as busy at the other locations and is therefore a lot cleaner and faster. But really, let's not joke around...you know I just go for the coconut milkshake, not the ambiance. :-)

Best bubble tea IMO. The dream tea is awesome (coconut/taro). If your feeling feisty the vanilla Oreo is great.

The staff member was friendly and the environment inviting. Parking is free which is a HUGE bonus on Whyte Ave. They had a variety of seating and even a small bookshelf of games! Prices were completely reasonable - large was $5.99 with a smaller size available for slightly less. Next time I'd really like to try something with the cheese foam or egg pudding on the bottom But I had dinner not too long before the visit so went with a 1/2 sweet more traditional milk tea.

It's nice that they have a lot as parking around whyte especially come those warmer months can be a challenge. Open everyday of the year (including Christmas). They had a soft opening and were offering 15% off their menu which was nice. They have a good variety of drink flavours on their menu. I ordered a peach pineapple green fruit tea with lychee (0.75 extra). My drink was really refreshing and delicious. You have the option of choosing your sugar level (extra, normal, or none). I went with normal. It was sweet but not too bad. I would definitely get that flavour again. Apparently they also sell snacks and pastries. They didn't have them during their soft opening but I was told they would once they fully open. They appear to have a decent amount of seating for a smaller place. The staff was incredibly kind and friendly.

The space has a lot of seating for pairs, but we were allowed to move tables and chairs to gather at with our group of 6. There's beautiful metalwork art for sale on one wall and the other side has a nice selection of teas, crystals, clothing, jewellery, incense, and other fun 'mystic' merchandise. They've also have a lot of healthy food and snacks on display too. My kids happened to like the scones, so much so, that I bought 3 as an afternoon snack! The cream and jam complimented those scones really well. Cally's teas are a part of Clair-I-tea (I was a little sad when I heard they closed their previous location a year ago, but glad they have re-appeared here!). They have a great assortment of teas, it's really hard to pick one, but there's little tins that you can open and smell, plus they also label the ones that are caffeinated which helps tons when my kids are in tow. I chose earl grey cream and winter cherry tea; it's perfect for sitting & relaxing in the space and you get a whole pot of tea to go with the fancy little tea setting. I actually want to come back to buy a bag of tea now because the flavours are pretty unique to me. They also have psychic services too, available by drop-in or booked appointments; you can choose what kind of reading: tarot, palm, etc. The wall opposite of the cashier has the names of the fortune tellers and what their pricing is like which is fairly reasonable and helps to avoid any surprises when it comes to payment. My friends had their tarot read in the back room and the psychic also let them record the reading on their phone and take pictures of their tarot spread which is really helpful to reflect on later! Overall, I really appreciated the service here, and enjoyed my afternoon tea; I definitely will be coming back to try out the psychic services and pick up a few stones for my crystal grid!
