Avocado mango with mango pieces ($5.55)

Where to go after you've either eating at Wing Chicx or are in the area shopping at South Edmonton Commons? Why, the answer is simple dear Watson, head over to TeaCup2Go and try their bubble tea/snacks. They have some light Asian snacks - their version of Japadog looks intriguing. I'll have to try it the next time I'm not stuffed to the brim with KFC. The lady/owner working the front is very sweet, your typical Asian mother figure. The menu is pretty small but focuses on a few key items (snacks, noodle bowls, hot dogs and bubble tea). Just take a look at their whiteboard, which have numerous choices to choose from. - Avocado mango with mango pieces and mango with lychee pieces ($4.55 each) - this is one of the cheaper places in town to order fresh fruit bubble tea. It's annoying that they charge you an extra $1.00 to blend in two fruits but it's the norm. Avocado and mango is my go to drink, seriously, so dang good. They don't skimp on the pieces and fill yer cup right to the top. My friend ordered herself the mango, which was much sweeter than mine but tasty. - JaJa noodle soup ($7.50) - udon noodles, fish tofu, fish cake, egg, fried tofu, green onion and seaweed. I don't think these were udon noodles. Most likely they were the egg noodles. Fried egg on top gave it some protein. I liked the fish tofu the best. Pretty simple bowl, nothing extraordinary, but it was filling. - Lychee with grass jelly ($4.55) - I was skeptical on whether they would be using fresh lychee but the drink was quite watery and tasted just like the real thing, so I think they do. Props. I will be back to try their other BBT flavours and Japadog next time. The bubble tea scene is pretty weak in Edmonton but I am a growing fan of TeaCup2Go. Unassuming, if you're in the area, give them a try.

Looking for bubble tea in the SouthEast side of YEG? KungFu tea is the place to be! I've actually…read morenever heard of this place, but a friend mentioned it to me & that they've recently had a grand opening. Location is in a neighbourhood stripmall, but it's in very close proximity to an elementary school, Grant MacEwan South Campus & near an ETS bus station, so I can see why it would be there. It does share a parking lot with the other shops there, so parking can be hit or miss. Inside has a lot of seating, no high chairs or change tables that I've seen. But it's clean, modern & has a TV displaying the feature drinks. Menu right now is only drinks, but there was display equipment leading me to believe that there is potential for food in the future?! The drink menu also runs along the lines of Coco's bubble tea where you can choose the level of sweetness & ice that's added to the drink. I ordered 3 of the top 10 drinks...strawberry lemonade with aloe jelly, taro milkshake with Oreo crumbles, and kungfu milk tea with sago. I liked them all and the price point wasn't too bad either. It didn't take them long to prepare & they were friendly & if you need drinks to go they have plastic bags, but also paper tray cup holders. I'm pretty impressed & although it wasn't busy, I can definitely see it getting that way in the summer months, and I'll probably be going back for more soon!

Another Bubble tea franchise with the sugar levelling system you must decide. To be honest I'm not…read morepicky about how much sugar there is so if your one of those people who are strict on your diet or what you intake, this place is definitely for you. I find that their selection is lacking fruity flavours that stand alone such as honey dew or cantaloupe and etc. They have their own pre made selections which is disappointing. The hangout space is big and welcoming but I feel that it's lacking that welcome home to chill and play games. I guess you can chit chat here for a bit but that's pretty much it. Washrooms are well kept, atmosphere is well lit, and staff is friendly. Parking is cramped due to stores nearby. The bubble tea drink is okay, I recommend getting the normal sized tapioca balls because the mini's are weird tasting and more risk for choking. Recommended for anyone looking to try a new bubble tea location but just to try. Unless you live near here it may be your go to spot for a quick fix.

The shop was full of people and the employees were working very quickly to fill all the orders. I ordered a regular Mango Colada. It was very tasty and the ingredients used were fresh and flavourful!

Great little bubble tea place located in a strip mall. I've been coming here for a few years now…read moreand overall am usually happy with my drink. They have a pretty extensive bubble tea and drink menu. My go to is the pineapple bubble tea with mango jelly. I've tried other flavours but they just did not do it for me. Depending on what you order prices can be either reasonable or expensive especially if you go for the speciality drinks. The staff is always very kind and friendly. This place can get quite busy at times and you may sometimes need to wait in line for a bit before placing your order. There are a few tables however, most people tend to just grab and go. They also have board games available if you wish to stick around with some friends and play some games. When it comes to food, they have a small menu of items however, they are all deep fried type snacks like calamari, wings, fries, tempura etc. After years of only getting drinks I decided to try the calamari ($7.50). It was alright, 7/10. It comes with a garlic aioli dip which I did enjoy. The calamari is not very big (comes in a 4 inch take out container) therefore, just enough if you're looking for a little snack. Parking can be a bit of a challenge on a busy day as there are only a few stalls in front of the place, that saying, you can park in the strip mall lot and walk over.
