Google Maps was not super clear on where this place was in the business complex. We ended up parking underground - free 2hour parking around the building and underground which is awesome. But unable to get to the restaurant without a 20 foot outside portion. HINT the front door is north facing and there is parking Right infront of the front door. Square 1 coffee is Behind it (south facing) but they share a wall. Sign on the door is very small and easy to miss. Small menu which was just fine with me. 20% busy at 5:15PM but 100% full at 6:15PM. Waiter was friendly and refilled the water jug on the table when it was empty. Did not make us feel rushed but also did not ask how we liked the food ever. We tried the 'Bresaola & Arugula' $25 and the 'Beef Bolognese' $25. 12 inch size only. Made with a sourdough crust that is distinctly tart like sourdough so not for those who do not like that flavor. Bresaola & Arugula was my mother's choice. I did not like the tart dough mixed with the bitter arugula (personally not a fan of arugula so I knew it would not be to my liking). 6/10 Beef Bolognese 9/10- I liked. Sort of like a lasagna pizza with a hint of something.... Wished the toppings went closer to the edge OR we got a dipping sauce for the crust part. I see they have fancy dipping sauces so that would have been fun to try. Crust was not too chewy or hard to eat which was nice but my mother wished it was cooked more and less "doughy". I did not feel the same. Very thin crust under the toppings which made it was floppy not hard if that makes sense. Easy to eat with a fork and knife. We ate 100% of the Bolognese pizza and 50% of the Arugula one. Overall Very fresh, fresh ingredients, very sour dough, fun ingredients. I also tried the twist soft serve for $6. Decent price for portion. Great portion for sharing between 2. Tonka bean was like a vanilla but with a distinct unknown hint of something else. My mother did not like. It looks just like vanilla and that can be a little deceiving when the flavor hits. Choclate was super rich and more like dark chocolate. I would give it 9/10. Very creamy and flavorful but personally I would have been happy with plain vanilla instead of tonka bean - But I appreciate that it is different!

A great casual place for pizza, snacks, and drinks. Strong pizza topping combos, Caesar salad was great, and a solid drink selection.

There was a large cake, cake slices, macarons in 2 different flavours, 2 different cream puffs, and I believe a few other items. They also advertised they have bubble tea, halo halo, and various pops. Behind the counter, there were white steamed buns and the gentleman working there told us there was pork inside. There were a few trays of baked breads and also a warmed with chicken empanadas. After lunch we went back to pick up a few things. I got 2 empanadas ($1.99 each) and 2 cream puffs ($2.25 each). My friend had one of the cakes before and said it was sweet so I decided not to try any as I don't like overly sweet desserts. Later that day, I had the cream puff and it was filled with lots of fluffy cream. The chicken empanada filling reminded me of what I use when I make chicken pot pie without the liquid. For $2, there was a decent amount of chicken but it was sweet and I prefer more savoury. I heated it in the toaster oven so the outside shell would be crispy and it was flaky and warm inside. If I'm in the area, I would go back and see what else they had. It's great to support a local business and the service was friendly.

I started the meal with the Don Vito cocktail, a spirit forward sweet concoction of Cognac, Bourbon and Limoncello. Immediately felt like it set the perfect tone for dinner. The tasting menu started with four appetizers, the Arancini, Goat Ricotta Crostini, Insalata Siciliana and the Culatello. My favorite was the arancini as it was packed full of melty cheese with so much flavor. The culatello was a crowd favorite and the crostini was a great palate cleanser. For secondi we had the Truffle Gnudi and Paccheri. For people who like meaty flavors go with the paccheri, but I liked the light cheese and truffle of the gnudi. By the time the Pollo Al Mattone came around, I could only manage a mouthful of the succulent brick chicken and the fresh cabbage salad as I was so full and would need to be rolled out of the restaurant. We ended with the Chocolate Budino, which was dark, creamy and delicious. A great tasting menu at a great price, especially compared to Toronto prices!

The appetizer with the cheese on toast was so much more flavorful than cheese on toast should be. Our companions had a pasta dish with sausage and it was amazing. If I lived in the area this would be a favorite to return to often. I like that the bartender just works on drinks for servers and there aren't patrons directly ordering drinks from him to slow the service.
