I brought my rather old Echo tiller in for a basic "physical" bc it sat unused for several years. They called within a couple of days with the estimate and projected finish date. Eager to get going with my project, I called 3 days before it was s'posed to be done (it wasn't) but they offered me a loaner! Since my project wasn't THAT dire, I said I could wait for mine to be done. They called back within the half hour saying mine could be picked up, all repaired. They are very accommodating there, and didn't even yell at me when I mistakenly brought my tiller into the front shop...past several posted signs to NOT bring any machines inside. ‍ read more

An update is definitely in order for this review. While my mower isn't working (let's be honest, it's December and I'm not using it anymore anyway), the owner of Giaco's wrote an extremely heartfelt letter to me apologizing for my experience. That is something you know only someone who cares about local business and who cares about their trade would do. I also received a full refund for my service, something I would never have expected, but appreciate more than they know. You'd never receive this sort of service from a large chain, and this alone is enough to completely change my perception of Giaco's. Reasons like this are why small business are so important to our community, and I'm more than willing to support that! read more

I brought my mower in due to a self-propelling problem. I was greeted while unloading the mower from the car and offered assistance to remove it. I was apologetically warned they were running 2-3 weeks behind schedule (not a problem I would borrow a neighbor's). Told the technician the problem, he started the mower and he said follow him to the back. He put the mower on a lift table and discovered the problem. He fixed the hung up belt right away, no charge. He suggested bringing it back when they are caught up to replace the belt since it looked a little worn. Tech was super nice and it was great he didn't just give me a repair tag and send me on my way like most places likely would have done. This folks is how a repair business should be run. Giaco recently installed a new carburetor on my snowblower. Upon receiving the snowblower after it was repaired, I discovered that the snowblower would turn off after approximately 1/2 of use and called Giaco to discuss the issue. I received a call back from the owner (Jason) the same day, who personally came out to my home to investigate the issue. Jason's team (Brandon) took the snowblower back to the shop, and discovered that the carburetor was loose. Their team resolved the issue and personally tested it in snow to confirm that the issue was resolved. I have to give credit to Jason and his team for providing great service as a follow up (it is uncommon for an owner of a business to do what Jason did . . . go out of his way to personally see that the issue was resolved). You can really tell that Jason and his team take pride in their business. Overall, what was initially a concern, turned out to be a great customer experience. read more

We did a business deal in excess of 200k with the owner Jason Giaco. I wasnt able to do my part completely on time but he was really understanding and helped in every way. I had a broken leg,wife in hospital and he gave our family time to get through it at the expense of his own families comfort. He isnt focussed on the profit alone. I highly recommend them. Can't say enough about the level of service and genuine desire to help customers. Extremely trustworthy, Jason has always been upfront about the time it will take to complete the repair (even if it will take a while) and the cost. He's fixed my snow thrower and hedge trimmer for me and has gotten it right both times. Whether its welding parts back together or just adjusting the throttle to make an old 2 cycle engine work right, Jason knows what he's doing and is upfront about the best options and what can and can't be fixed. read more
