What I like is they carry many products catering to homeopathic, natural, and organic lifestyles. Whether it be medication, beauty supplies, or food - their selection of these items are the best around. This is in addition to the normal drug store staples of beauty, drug, cosmetics, seasonal items, etc. They also have a pharmacy which I've never used. Hubby likes the fitness supplements and protein powders. Their selection of these items are pretty plentiful too. Prices are kinda all over the place, depending on the product but overall probably higher than say going to CVS. Often they will have a double page ad of coupons in the Clipper so look for it for additional savings on select items. When I was dumbfounded on where to find essential oils I found them here. Selection is fairly good although there were several I bought on ebay either because Savemart didn't carry them or the price was better. So why 4 stars and not 5? For me I hate their parking lot. The layout is poorly designed. Secondly the isles are close together and crammed. The place is usually crowded and its hard to find help. Lastly the security guy at the front door checking your purchase when you leave. Is theft that prevalent here that that's necessary?

It has been almost over a decade since I have patronized a Walmart. This Walmart is located in…read moreLancaster, Pennsylvania. I absolutely love Walmart primary for the low marked-down price and large selection and well stocked inventory. Like all Walmarts, there is a free parking lot available for customers. I sorrowfully wished I have driving skills enabling car ownership to make monthly treks to Walmart in my native metropolitan NY area. I highly prefer Walmart than Target for juxtaposition. I purchased reusable dinner forks and dinner spoons for lunch usage at my Sisyphean task. My party wanted who also needed a small kitchen knife and disposable small plates to peel peaches obtained from a farmer's market. Personally, I despise the skin of an apple which I always peel the skin before consumption. Upon entering we briefly walked to wander searching the kitchen tools/ accessories and found one sales associate for assistance. This male associate looked at my party with complete befuddled of utter silence at first without response and immediately used his tablet for English translation from his native language. Oh! I did not know that the store directory layout is located in a tablet which was my initial thought. However, the underlying truth for reason of his wayward behavior is the L.E.P. Limited English Proficiency. Ultimately, my party of three were left to fend for ourselves roaming aisle to aisle to search shopping to replenish any deficiencies of products in our home including to obtain a small kitchen knife and small paper plates. I did not see any face sunscreen stick as I am using the traditional annoying messy lotion which is sticky form during this excessive heat wave Independence Day 2026 holiday weekend. Traditional sunscreen surely leaves a residue on my clothing. I still seek one large raffia or rattan storage basket with cloth interior lining or one large raffia / rattan storage box with lid. There is a medium long queuing line at check-out. There are also three self-serve check out registers. There are no security guards checking sales receipt as proof of payment upon exiting like my native metropolitan NY area Walmart for juxtaposition. This Lancaster, PA Walmart provide very thin plastic bags of excessive poor quality who thankfully, does not practice the frivolous 2023 plastic bag ban passed by Lancaster County. This parking lot features designated, covered barn-like stalls for horses and buggies as reasonable accommodation for the Amish.

Overall I like CVS STORE because of its convenient proximity to my house. The Landisville location…read morehas a nice assortment of makeup, health products, seasonal, and a small food section. It's certainly not the largest in the area but overall fits my needs in a pinch. Being a care member I always scan my card at the kiosk for savings in addition to the boatload that always print on my receipts. This location doesn't have a high turnover of personnel, but can get busy at times, and often you need to ring the bell for the cashier. Returns are usually not a problem, even without a receipt, given that they can pull up your customer care card history. As of lately I've been forced by my insurance company to leave my small town pharmacy of over 30 years to get my prescriptions filled here exclusively. It's not a change that I'm happy about. My old pharmacist, Smithgall's knew me and my medication. They would often alert me to errors that the doctors missed. They offered delivery - even from the city to my home in Landisville - and I had an account set up with them. CVS doesn't offer that level of customer service. In fact they are so busy that it's not unusual to wait a good bit of time to ask a question or pick up your script. Getting them on the phone is even more problematic. All scripts must be paid for at the pharmacy register which doesn't offer cash back. While I think the current staff does an ok job for the volume and lack of personnel I've had some dealings with an exceptional pharmacist in the past that went above and beyond her call of duty dealing with my insurance company. I've also dealt with one so condescending and unpleasant I tried to figure out his schedule and avoid pickups when he's there. Now that I've had to deal with CVS PHARMACY exclusively for my prescription needs I see a lot of flaws with the store. Lack of personnel at the pharmacy counter as mentioned before. A parking lot that's often hogged up by the dance company next door is a huge problem, and very common in the evenings when I go. It's especially frustrating because street parking is not feasible. But the issue that annoys me the most is the phone calls, text messages, and constant *borderline* harassment by their automated pharmacy system. I literally get three calls a day. I do not have automatic refills yet get calls that I do. I get reminders that I'm due for a fill. I get calls asking if I have any medication questions. I get repeated calls after scripts are picked up reminding me to pick up. And on and on. Three calls a day is a conservative figure, as realistically it's much higher. Even more frustrating is calling to have something done about it, only for it to be changed, then revert right back, something that frustrates the staff as well. On a positive note I like that I can upload pictures at home, edit, make changes, and get ebates cash back than pick up the printed materials at the store. It saves alot of time vs dealing with their kiosks which sometimes have issues and time wasted waiting on the prints. With my insurance constantly changing I'm hoping that my alliance to CVS is short lived. Unfortunately the short falls of the PHARMACY and the constant harassment bring down my overall rating for the store.

When I spoke to the manager Mark about this he literally yelled at me. I wonder if I was a young man instead of an elderly woman would he have felt so embolden to yell.
