If the liquor store was any further in the back right corner, it would be in the stockroom. #UpCloseSavor XP

Bakery only review. Still not a fan of thawed donuts, but the cake items are excellent. My family is a big fan of ordering these delicious cakes. My wife regularly chooses the White Elegance cake. It's a crowd pleaser. Don't need a whole cake, order your favorite cake recipe as a a cupcake. Just one or more is fine. This last time we paid extra to have the cake sliced and individually packaged so that everyone could take a slice of birthday cake home with them. They are very accommodating. I know it's hard to judge a review when taste is what matters. All I can say is buy a slice or a cupcake to try it out.

I love this Giant Eagle Market Place. The staff is great. They have great prices and items that aren't in traditional Giant Eagles. One of my fave things from here are the baked goods (cookies and cream cupcakes). They also have my favorite lemonade Me and the Bees.

Old. Have bought food there a few times to come home and find out it's rotten. The Kroger down the street is a thousand times better.

I greatly prefer Giant Eagle to Kroger for my grocery needs, and the New Albany Giant Eagle is a nice alternative to my regular in Gahanna.

Have a certain scent in mind? She'll mix it for you right there. Better yet, if your favorite perfume has been discontinued, she can mix it especially for you by foraging through the scent blend databases she has access to. Want a margarita scented bath fizzy? She has it. She made it herself. Looking for extra special, not-your-run-of-the-mill soy candle? She can custom make that for you too - or sniff away at the shelves to pick your favorite. Craving chocolate but not the calories? Try a chocolate fizzy drop, shaped and foil wrapped just like a giant kiss. Or the oatmeal bath cookies packaged in a stack and looking like they just came out of the oven. This is the perfect place to go for wedding and shower gifts, birthdays too! My favorite product? Her all natural insect repellent. Contrary to popular conceptions of the mosquito foiling stuff, this actually smells quite lovely. It reminds me of the lemon Lipton Brisk Iced Tea you used to be able to purchase in cans. I actually use this on my hairless dogs as well with no adverse effect. Best of all? it REALLY works. In the corner of the store there is a station where you can fill your own Honey Grove bottle with bath salt or liquid soap. It's like sand art for the grown up...only it smells good. Staff I interacted with was professional and friendly. Especially the check out lady. She is spectacular. I went there for tofu. Grabbed a few things while getting to its aisle. There the hiccups began. I had looked on line for chickpea tofu. Krogers online website confirmed it was available here. (Which is why I came in) Then once I was there it was no where to be found. Go back on line still available but this time I continued to procede as if I was ordering it for pick up. and when I tried to complete the order It then says its no longer available. So that was a bummer. Wasted trip in. So I proceed to check out. I use the big self checkout with the conveyor. Well that didnt want to take my mums down the belt so I put them at the bottom after scanning however the computer kept saying start over and ask for help. So i hit the light to get help and waited... patiently However... That help was impossible to get right away as the lady who monitors the self scan lanes was now knee deep in a complicated situation with a complicated customer. So as Im patiently waiting for her to get that situation resolved.... Which with this particular customer wasnt happening quickly. Lol. Meanwhile management is absent from this situation which was quickly becoming a spectacle. One that warrants John Quinones (from what would you do) to emerge from some corner with his camera crew Finally it is resolved. The cashier helps me. She is as nice as can be. However I was wishing I was anywhere but Kroger for the five minutes it took to deal with the customer/situation. I guess Its Johnstown or Gahanna for Kroger purchases again until I forget why I dont shop here -like I did today. Bummer.
