This is a shout out specifically to the PHARMACY. This GE Pharmacy is top notch! They are friendly, answer questions, assist in anything that they can. They will even make calls to assist in renewals. I believe I have dealt with the majority of their staff over the last 6 yrs they have been my pharmacy of choice. Again top-notch. And the renewals over text are great. I am sure all Pharmacys do that but I just enjoy the ease of use by getting my prescriptions renewals over text. I have no complaints or problems with the pharmacy. read more

We were on our way home from holiday fun and stopped here (because it's off the freeway) to get a couple of things. Its the only grocery store I've ever seen with the " pharmacy" near the front...weird but interesting. Nothing fancy at this grocery store particularly the service. They have 4 self serve checkouts, not enough in my option cause we stood in line for 15. Also, they had one (human) checker, again not enough people. Clearly this store doesn't have a manger who cares about getting people on their way. I'm not sure what this place is like during "rush hour" but I wouldn't want to be in here...waiting more than 15 mins for self check is annoying; they should be giving me a discount for wasting my time. read more

I like giant eagle but the one in twinsburg is a dump one guy in the deli is rude. Merchandise in the meat department the meat department is a dump. The cherries I bought that were sealed had white mold on some of them. 8 of them I had to separate out of the bunch before washing and the rest seemed ok. I do not like buying the cherries or grapes in baggies that people like to open and sort through them. Adding or subtracting or whatever their reasons are. That is done at many stores. Not just Giant Eagle. A nasty habit humans have touching food like that with all the health problems going around! Anyways the one pound container of the red cherries I bought was gross when I opened them up to rinse. Everything else I bought was fine. I cannot find anywhere on this Giant Eagle site to talk to customer service. 4th one down on receipt are the cherries I bought. It's Wednesday at 5pm. Thought it might be a good idea to pick up some groceries on the way home. Chicken sounded good. Oh I get to the poultry section and they have one, really only one pack of chicken in the entire store. This is a freaking grocery store. No legs, no thighs, no whole chickens, no advertised BOGO chicken breasts. NO CHICKEN. The check out lines at this store were horrendous. They had 2 real cashiers (one of whom was some sort of a manager), and the express lane cashier. So you wait, and you wait. Not a big fan of this store to begin with, but today's trip made it my last as far as family shopping goes. How can you not have chicken??? read more

Giant eagle has never been known for high-quality or good service. I have not been to one until today for a couple of years. Now I remember why. I'm not really sure when giant eagle stopped hiring cashiers. 90% of their lanes require a cashiers yet the only lanes that are open are the self checkouts. Regardless this is a grocery store and I shall review on more than just the cashing out (which was annoying as hell). This Giant eagle is also small. Maybe Super Walmarts are starting to take over the grocery business? Small but clean. Decent for weekly grocery shopping but would not recommend for much else. If you want a lot of fresh produce I would also stick to the brand new market district in Solon. read more

Overall: 2 stars. Trying to find an employee every time I have to use the self-service checkout is very annoying. Customer Service: 2 stars. The people working there are fine, but I can't stand how the self-checkout machines require you to scan a physical card. The only way to enter your phone number is by calling over an employee. Every other self checkout with a loyalty card allows the user to enter their phone number themselves. Very inefficient. Price: 2 stars. They are significantly higher than Super Walmart on the same items. Probably higher than 30%. Their sales are generally buy 1 get 1 free, which is only good if you want double Selection: 3 stars. Couple weeks age my mother (a frequent customer) went to Giant Eagle in Twinsburg and received rude rejection upon check out by a self-proclaimed manager, Jamie. After shopping, my mother found a register with a cashier about to open the check out, so she went to the cashier while my brother following my mom few steps behind. At this point, Jamie was walking around while announcing this line is open. After talking to another customer and dragged that gentlemen out of his line inorder to cut in between my mother and brother, Jamie tell my brother "you have to wait, he come first." My mother informed Jamie that my mother and my brother were waiting together; however, Jamie ignored my mother and told the cashier to take care of the customer Jaime dragged from the other line first. Then Jamie walked away. Feeling being treated unfairly, my mom when to service desk demanded speaking to store manager and/or get information for contacts. Jamie stormed to my mother and proclaimed loudly that she is the manager. She also commented that ,"I do managing, so I do whatever I want!" We wait in other lane and checked out while my mom was filled with anger and frustration of this illogical encounter. We tried to contact customer service and branch manager for Giant Eagle on Darrow Road. Unfortunately we haven't receive any follow up or call back that they promised so many times. All we wanted is a sincere apology from the so called Jamie. We hope that, First, someone can manage the store better so that customer will not be treated unfairly. Second, if problem does occur , it will be resolved appropriately instead receiving further holistically from a staff that proclaim oneself as whoever that person want to be and think one can do whatever that individual desire. read more

My biggest beef with Giant Eagle is just that they over price things a huge amount. It is one of the only big stores in Twinsburg, and I think that they know that and make everything more than it should be. Fruit is good, and they have a good selection of things, but I do think it costs too much. read more

I live in Twinsburg and I cringe when I have to go into this store. My husband and I always say you can get in this store but you can never get out! Produce is always out shelves half empty. The attitude of employees is poor. Don't ask for help you won't get it and if you it's with an attitude. Checking out at this store is a joke they move like turtles with extra attitude. I was at the Giant Eagle in Twinsburg after work today, picking out a Christmas tree for me, and one for my best friend. She is 78, the age my Mom would have been, 50 years later. One by one, cart employees went back and forth through the 5 trees I had set aside to decide on. And then a lady appears, (Laura in Produce Dept), who asks me, 'Trying to decide on trees huh?' I said, 'I am.' So she takes the time, as she was strolling by, to help me. This just so happens to be the BEST customer service employee in MY opinoin. Genuine, good-hearted, and purely kind, with nothing short of the BEST intentions. She was extremely helpful. PLEASE take the time to commend her, because she is rare. Then as I took them both to my car, an older gentleman in a Mercedes, parked next to me asks, as I stand there pondering the best way to load them into my Delani, he offers to empty the water out of the trays and load them into the hatch. While commenting, 'my grandpa and my father said to always help the ladies.' Around the holidays, is truly, when good people shine. read more

So so disappointed with the Twinsburg Giant Eagle! We moved out of state almost 3 years ago and I was so excited to move back to Twinsburg especially for my Giant Eagle! Unfortunately while we were gone something happened to this store! It is dirty, understocked, and smells like old fish! One day my husband and I both went in for just a few items and they ended up not having more than half of the items! My husband said let's go to Heinens.. so we did! I shopped at this store for about 18 years and am so frustrated.... the produce has been rotten, meat tough... and as I said before it smells and looks dirty!
