First time coming here, i wanted a place to check out since I am a big fan of the Fresh Thyme Market stores. I didn't realize that parking would be such a hassle but I'm assuming this is only temporary since they're repaving the lot . It's in a really busy strip mall! Getting in and out is such a hassle. The store is actually not too busy once you're inside. Staff here is absolutely friendly! I do think that the store is very dimly lit for some reason compared to other fresh thyme Market stores. The dining area is also very small as well as the organization inside too. Stafford is actually very friendly and accommodating. Great grocery store with lots of fresh produce. I especially appreciate their seafood and meat selections. They have a good variety or already marinated meats at a reasonable price that are fun to try. They also carry a pretty good line of heal they refrigerated meals, Kevin's. They honestly feel comparable to like a Factor meal situation. Their snacks are generally "better for you" with better ingredients and their bagger salad options are vast. I also appreciate that they have a large variety of kombuchas. Things can get a little pricey here, but I guess you're paying for quality. read more

Fresh Thyme, it's Whole Foods spliced with a farmer's market that was partially inbred with a discount shoping maket. Not sure how that all would work in real science. Fresh Thyme stocks high quality organic and non organic choices. They advertise that they have natural meat. I'm not really sure what natural meat is as apposed to organic, free range, at farm such and such, in such and such lot, fed a diet of organic, non GMO, receives daily happy endings, and fed a strict díet of low carb tofu rice cakes..... What I can say is that I have enjoyed their meat, poke, fish, produce, clean, well organized, and great customer service. read more

Similar to a Sprouts and Whole Foods. Prices were alright - some things higher than I see em elsewhere but tried to shop sales. I wasn't as impressed with the produce as I would've hoped for a store like this but meat selection and specialty foods are top notch in variety and selection. I even found raw milk cheese! Supplement section still carries homeopathy and silver unlike Whole Foods. Layout is functional and makes sense. Tons of reviews here bashing employees but I encountered 4 and all were helpful and kind! Instead of this store's management trying to figure out what they've done wrong as an employer and fix the issues that led to high employee turnover and lack of interest in working for the, they have decided to force the labor on the customer! They don't give any self-checkout discount or anything and now have only self-checkout available as early as 6pm! They lost this customer! read more

I was literally cussed out by an apple stacker for telling my daughter to look out, as she was in the way. This fucking clown was yelling, screaming, cussing up a storm. He followed me to the front and wanted to start again, cussing and screaming in front of the managers and a slew of customers. I love to go to fresh thyme for vitamins, supplements, bulk food, dried fruit, bulk peanuts. I like the fact that this store is small you can just kind of walk in and walk out without a lot of distraction. The people are friendly the location is very convenient and parking is never a problem. It is a little pricey though when they're not having sales especially on vitamins and supplements. ***Dear management: please bring back the peanuts that are in the barrel on the end cabs that don't have pepper on them. Very nice - clean, organized, and staff is friendly. Great sale prices!! However, regular priced items aren't that impressive... some things are more expensive than whole foods (for example almond milk, Quinoa, canned beans such as garbanzo). Butcher shop/seafood selection isn't impressive. The variety of bulk trail mix, seeds, grains, & nuts is great! They also offer a salad bar, prepared foods, fresh squeezed juice in house, and many vegan/vegetarian items. One disappointment for me is that they don't carry tahini?? Good product when ur looking for organic foods and good supplements. But the employees are unknowable about everything in the store. the cashiers are extremely rude. and manager are unknowable n not so friendly. I shop at the spourts stores in San Diego and the service and knowledge of store merchandise by the employees is phenomenal, service from all employees and the mangers is nothing less 110% great service. This store owner used to work for spourts and took it to other states and build the exact store n named it fresh thyme. Organic fruit and veggies are often on sale, except they are not exactly fresh. Fresh fish has been thawed before being placed on the stand, and sometimes, filets are even placed there completely frozen. Here goes the so called "fresh" fish. Employees in the store are not knowledgeable about food. The wine and bulk items selections are really limited. To be fair... this is not much of a farmer's market. This is more of a reasonably priced whole foods. Honestly, I do not like their produce. It is typically not from the US and does not last as long as other places. The biggest benefit is their bulk food and specialty foods. As the wife of someone who cannot have milk, it has a great deal of alternatives in cheese, sour cream, frozen treats, etc. I found more alternatives here than I found at Giant Eagle, Whole Foods, and Walmart. The prices are also more reasonable. For bulk foods, they have nuts, granola, chocolate, and snack mixes. The store is clean and the staff are fantastic. If you are interested in beauty or protein, there is multiple varieties. They have some items that I am not sure I have ever seen. (such as ear candles) read more

I was so bummed. I was hoping to find a great new grocery store to add to my finds but I just was not that impressed. They have a good bit of selection but their prices are much higher than Mustard Seed Market and even Whole Foods. I drive to SOLON from Warren for most of our groceries and we drive in to Eaton for Trader Joe's so driving a bit further would not have been out of the ordinary had this been worth it. The lay out and signage is nice and their hot foods smelled good. They had several Fresh baked Non GMO breads but at $6 a loaf I'm not wasting the money or the carbs. We did purchase some bath bombs that were on sale. So that was a fun find but other than that I would have to really need something and be right there to go in again. read more

Actually like this place quite a bit. It is sort of like a cheap Whole Foods thought not as big or with as much selection. I normally shop Aldi (and use Whole Foods to fill in anything I can't get at Aldi) but lately the prices have been so good here that I make the drive up once a week. Last week they even had produce prices cheaper than Aldi! They have a great bulk selection (so good for saving money and being eco conscious), good produce prices, and a decent selection of vegan option. We are vegan at home so I can't say anything about they deli or meat selection. read more

Downgrading previous review. Rude deli! One lady was nice, but the girl who was actually helping me during last visit (a few weeks ago) was a grumpy ball. I asked for my roasted chicken to be shaved (like fall apart, shaved, that's how I like it!!!) and apparently that was too much work for her. Sorry I am making you do your job. Jobbing is rough, I know. I received the look of death when I asked for my roast beef to be sliced in the same manner. Before COVID, I witnessed staff tasting soups/salad bar items. The sushi was terrible. They offer great 'deals' to get you in the door. Wow what a great experience for us on their grand opening. We only made one mistake, we was both hungry. Lol The lines were long but they moved fast as if they was expecting a crowd wink wink. Love it. Superb quality produce and meats. We got chicken sausage and they're wonderful! So is the beef stew. The only thing of any disappointment was some Veggie Fries I got. Not Fresh Thymes own brand so it's not their issue. I just won't get the Rosemary and Olive Oil flavor again. Otherwise, this place checks out in the outstanding category. Originally a West Sider (and now an East Sider - we do exist!), I hadn't previously had the privilege of shopping at a Fresh Thyme, other than when visiting friends in the North Canton area. Now that I have the opportunity to shop here on a weekly basis, I am thrilled overall. It's clean, bright, has friendly employees, and great store brand products. My biggest complaint is that the produce department can get a little rough looking, and is often out of stock of some basic items. Other than that, I love it here. We spend less money than we did at Giant Eagle, and are getting a better shopping experience. All-in-all, I am a very happy Fresh Thyme shopper. Oh - one more thing - try the freshly ground honey roasted peanut butter. Holy crap, is it delicious. read more

This supermarket has a nice selection of food. However the cashiers are extremely slow. Probably 50% of the speed at which they work at Aldi's. The long lines in the front of the cashiers remind of Walmart on Black Friday or communist countries. And no, that is not just because their products are so good. read more

Came here on Saturday. For the amount of humanity in this store today you would never know it by looking at the shelves. The produce was as fresh if not better then the local organic super market. The deli and seafood counters were well staffed and had ample supply of items. Including sale items. The meat counter let a bit to be desired as they were out of a lot of things on display, but in reality had a lot of the items in the back. All you had to do was ask one of the 12 nice people who were more then willing to help you out. The prices seem to be average for the area. The only issue was checkout, but again then had probably met their max capacity for people in the building and each register was open and most had a bag person as well. Still a bit far to be our everyday supermarket, but for the once a week shopping we may have found our spot. read more

My wife and I live about 25 minutes away from here so we are not here too often, but we do enjoy coming when we have the opportunity. We are gluten and dairy free due to my wife's health so this place is one of the easiest places for us to shop due to its large variety of allergy-friendly options. My largest complaint about the store is simply price. They have a premium on many different items that one could find elsewhere for cheaper. Fresh Thyme - you are not fresh at all! Your produce was all wet and slimy and discolored and old. I could not buy one item from your "FRESH" fruits and vegetables. Marc's discount has better items than what I saw in your store today. In the prepared food section, the ingredients are not listed, so for those of us who choose to eat pure healthy food, you completely miss the mark. By displaying foods in the same way conventional grocery stores do, you do not stand out as being any better or any different. How can you call yourself FRESH when farm-raised fish are available? How can you call yourself FRESH when you sell conventionally raised chicken, complete with hormones and animal anti-biotics? What turned me off the most was what I saw one minute after entering your store; Wonder bread!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gross beyond gross! The minute I saw that I knew immediately what kind of experience I was about to have. Great new addition to the local supermarkets! I was there on their second day and the crowds were crazy! But the lines seemed to move fast and there were plenty of employees throughout the store to answer questions. Of course there were some great sales for their opening but the regular prices seemed good, too. The store has just about everything you would need but it's more the size of a Heinens instead of a Giant Eagle, which I like. I'm looking forward to stopping back another time when it isn't as busy so I can take my time to look around. read more

First visit to this grocery concept and I really enjoyed it. The produce was fresh and there was a good selection. The prices are very reasonable. I gave four stars and not five because all throughout the store staff were kibitzing and acting unprofessional (e.g. a clerk was whining to her manager that she wants to leave work early because it's "so slow" and she was "so bored"). Rather than take the employee aside and discuss the matter, they continued to debate about how boring it was and how one's pay affects the ability to withstand boredom. Improving the customer experience through positive staff interactions should be a focus for management. read more

Great place to shop. Co-workers care. Managers are unqualified No training given for your job assignments. Management style is condemnation. They tell you daily what you're doing wrong. As a result very high turnover. No human resource department hence they hire druggies and thieves. Great platform but no plan for success. Well, we went as it was highly recommended by some friends and now I don't know why. The deli takes forever to get anything because they only have one slicer. There is a huge lack of name brand products. Almost everything is their house brand. The vegetables looked good, the selection of meats and seafood were not very good. We were extremely disappointed. Way too much bulk candy. The bakery did seem to be good. Potato chip selection, cereals was dismal. If you are single it might be ok but if you are buying for a couple or family you are better going to Trader Joe's. They don't accept credit cards with the chip. read more

Online it's said that Crave magazine is available bimonthly in the store. I love print magazines for recipes and new ideas. Every time I visit there are no Crave magazines available. Furthermore the staff doesn't even know what Crave is. Fresh Thymes was available when the store first opened. I have yet to get a Crave at this store. read more
