In the several years my family has been shopping here, I have only had one incident where I was charged x2 for an expensive cut of Parmiggiano reggiano cheese but it was corrected during my next visit. The Wegman's brand organic items like the milk, eggs, and dairy creamer leave nothing to be desired. Not to mention their bakery! An absolute gem. Who needs a Whole Foods, anyways? Certainly not I. So, during a recent trip "back home", I stopped by Schiff's to stock up on kielbasa. Our daughter also requested that we pick up its necessary accompaniment, horseradish. My family loves both the regular white horseradish (spicier) and the red one that is prepared with beets. Schiff's also has an excellent selection of other meats: a deli with sliced meats, cheeses, and specialty salads; fresh fruits and vegetables; ethnic foods such as pirogies; and more.

Asked the associate to please fill it. She barely attempted to and asked another associate for help. The other associate said it would be 20 minutes until the associate with the key to unlock the cabinet with the paper would be back. I said okay and waited. 20 minutes later a male associate comes back and says the same thing about the associate on break with the key. Proceeded to wait ANOTHER 20 MINUTES for someone to fill the printer. The associate "with the key" comes over and fills the kiosk with paper from and UNLOCKED CABINET RIGHT NEXT TO THE KIOSK. She then tells us we can't use the kiosk anymore. I let her know we already had an order in progress and had the receipt for 55 pictures. She said we could use the other computers next to it but I had already waited 40 minutes at this point and Lord knows how long it would've taken to get the remaining pictures. The associate rang us up for 32 pictures at the register by the photo station. She never apologized (and neither did any of your other staff) or even offer to ring up the other items in my hands. Absolutely HORRIBLE service and it's unreal to think it took 40 minutes for your staff to fill a printer with paper. Had they had even the tiniest bit more urgency the kiosk would not have timed out because I stood there and watched it timeout after 30 minutes. Ridiculous is an understatement for this experience and I will never return to such an embarrassment of an establishment.

We got corn that were sweeter than corn I have had in the past. Delicious Most of the customers appear to be local residents. The vendors are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. From route 11, it's a couple of short local streets. There are banners put up along the streets and were very helpful in guiding us to their parking lot. The parking lot is large but by 1pm it was full! It was worth a visit!

But unless you need an obscure product or are looking for a third-tier brand, you can likely find what you need here, and the customer service is very good. You can easily find an employee who will help you find what you need. They train their cashiers to do that thing where they stand in front of their lane when they don't have customers so that they can welcome people in, and once they're ringing people up, the cashiers are polite, personable and professional, and eager to help when appropriate. If you have several supermarkets nearby, there's probably no reason to go out of your way to go here, and if you need a particularly wide selection, I wouldn't count on finding what you want here, but if you're nearby and looking to buy standard groceries, I think you'll have a good experience at this Weis.
