These are most often great estate sales. Items are priced on a sliding scale--day 1 full price, then is reduced by 25%, then 50%, and 75%. Everything is neat & tidy--dusted, ironed, etc. You can expect a lot of high quality items. I've purchased several pieces of furniture and antiques from these sales. I wouldn't want to miss one! read more

Stopped at an 'Estate Sale' today in Sheboygan. Everything was listed as 75% off - why wouldn't they just mark the items with the price? We didn't get this & everything was garage sale quality. No antiques. Not really an estate sale...but still found a bargain. ...but then I got home & unwrapped the pretty mint green napkins I purchased & everyone had a stain! I should have taken off the deceiving pretty bow & checked them...hoping my stain remover does the trick! read more

Gibson Girls' sales are organized and well-thought out. Their pricing is on a sliding scale, the sales begin at full price then gradually decrease by quarters - the next day is 25% off, then 50% off and finally 75% off. There are a few estate sale businesses in the area and the Gibsons are always arranged the best. read more

I happen to visit right before Valentine's Day and was impressed with the obvious care that was often shown by the various vendors in arranging their displays with a spring theme. Definitely worth a visit, especially if you're shopping for inspiration for someone who prefers unique not mass market.

Their flowers are beautiful. I get a bouquet every year for Valentine's Day. This year, I was feeling under the weather, was leaving work early when my boyfriend said the delivery window was 8-5. I called FFD and spoke with a staff member who let me know we couldn't reroute the delivery but they would make me a new bouquet to pick up. The staff member was so patient as I had almost completely lost my voice. I showed up to their shop with my mask on and a barely audible hello. They knew exactly who I was and got my package ready for me. I love that they partner with other small businesses to create fun bundles. The candle accompanying the flowers smelled amazing and the chocolates were delicious. Over a week later and the flowers look just as good as on day one! They also have fun workshops to build your own bouquets and seasonal wreaths. Highly recommend them as a quality, ethical florist.

We purchased flowers for my Mother's funeral from Hoffmann's. We ordered arrangements with…read moreLAVENDER roses that we saw in the refrigerator when we placed our order in person in their store. They were gorgeous - the perfect shade to match the rest of the color palate we were using for the service. When we arrived at the funeral home we were VERY disappointed as the roses clearly were NOT lavender. They were pink (and my Mother hated pink!) I asked several of the guests what color they thought the roses were, and they all agreed they were pink. When I spoke with the manager the next day, I was told the roses they used were their "standard" for Lavender or Purple roses. I shared that they definitely were NOT the lavender roses we saw and chose in their cooler when we placed the order. I shared that I was disappointed and asked if there was something he could do to make it right (like a discount of some sort?). He said there was nothing he could do as they provided the product we ordered. I did give them two stars, as the arrangements WERE beautiful and they did a fantastic arrangement in a Tanqueray Gin bottle that we loved. But we were heartbroken with the pink roses.
