Mr Hughes denied any responsibility for her injuries and refused to pay any vet bills nor return our already paid training money. The filly came home worse than she left home. My daughter has been taking lessons with Debbie Smith for 16 months. My daughter started as a…read morenervous but enthusiastic 12 year old and now she is a confident and passionate 14 year old. Debbie is patient, clear and supportive. She is an incredible teacher, mentor and horsewoman. When she explains a concept, she explains it in a way that the student can absorb: whether verbal, visual or kinesthetic. Debbie offers fun field trips (trail rides, schooling, shows, etc) and lots of support. She has a wide variety of lesson horses and her rates are the best around. She cares about her horses and her students. Can't say enough about her. Whether you are inclined to ride for fun or competition (which my daughter recently started), you will get results.
