Unfortunately, my recent experiences, especially on Friday and Saturday evenings, have been very different. The shop often appears to be staffed mainly by young employees without visible adult supervision. On more than one visit, employees were gathered in the back while customers waited at the counter and had to call out for service. The most concerning incident involved a customer using a walker. After placing her order, she slowly made her way to a table and sat down. When her ice cream was ready, the employee placed it on the counter and walked away. The customer repeatedly asked if someone could bring it to her, but she was ignored until another customer stepped in and helped. That should not happen. Customers with mobility limitations deserve basic courtesy, dignity, and reasonable assistance. I understand that young employees are still learning, but that is exactly why an experienced adult should be present to supervise, coach, and ensure customers are treated properly. The ice cream may still be good, but the customer service and supervision need serious improvement.
