The flowers were not delivered that day, and I received zero proactive communication from the shop about the delay. I had to call and email repeatedly over several days just to find out what was happening, and even had to call my friend to ask if the flowers had shown up, which ruined the surprise entirely. The shop's only explanation was that "a few deliveries came back to the store" because people weren't home -- but my friend confirmed she was home all day and in the same spot the whole time. The flowers were finally redelivered on August 25, three days late, and by then the arrangement showed clear signs of age (fully open, flattened rose petals) -- it appeared to be the same arrangement that had been sitting since Saturday rather than a fresh one. I tipped the driver $10 in good faith at checkout, which in hindsight I regret given how this played out. The flowers themselves may have been fine originally, but the lack of communication and failure to honor the delivery date turned what should have been a thoughtful gift into a stressful, drawn-out ordeal. I would not recommend this shop for any time-sensitive order.

They have a large book selection to pick from including local authors and autographed copies of books. There is also a good selection of used and children's books in the back part of the store.
