I took the computer to Rick and he suggested a temporary solution that I could use on a flash drive on another machine I have at home. The advantage over Micro Center has always been that at CMS you could bring in a machine for service and buy a new motherboard or graphics card and either install it yourself or have them install it for you. I think that over the years, they've gravitated toward one brand and fewer add-ons. But I still use them for service. Just last month I took my machine in for a new motherboard. Their prices for repairs is very reasonable and their service is pretty fast.
