We both thought the temperature of the table was just right & relaxing. I definitely felt myself falling asleep. My husband fell asleep. My husband enjoyed his massage with Kimberly. He said that she is skilled & worked out knots he didn't realize he had. He appreciated the amount of firm pressure she applied. After moving to Washington, I visited a med spa where I was confidently told that Moxie laser treatments would improve my pigmentation. Unfortunately, after two sessions, the heat from the laser worsened my melasma, leaving my skin darker and more damaged than before. By the time I found Dr. McLain, I had become extremely cautious and fearful about pursuing further treatment. I waited six months for my appointment, and from the very first visit, I knew I was finally in the right hands. Dr. McLain combines exceptional knowledge with genuine compassion. Every appointment has been thoughtful, thorough, and never rushed. I wrote it off as a first-time issue and politely accepted the apologies, etc. The second appointment was worse, and I felt ignored and unwelcome. If I hadn't been there with my best friend (a cis-woman who did not share my experience), I would have walked out immediately. There is one shining exception to my experience: Nurse Injector Aleigh. Aleigh has a meticulous practice and a holistic perspective and truly wants to improve the quality of life for her patients. She's fantastic, and I would love to work with her again, but not at this facility, ever!
