She said no problem getting an arrangement out by Wednesday morning. The flowers were delivered and took center stage for our Thanksgiving feast. The flowers were so fresh!!! The arrangement is not symmetrical, the roses are all crushed together in one spot in the middle that can't be seen from the tall lilies. The peonies yet gorgeous, we left so lol they're drooping and three are bent out of this oversized, ridiculously enormous glass container. All the greens are on one side. It's not balanced, or creatively unbalanced. It is literally a hot mess. The worst part is that the majority of the flowers are tied together with black tape and green ribbon on the bottom that's visible in the water. Normally a florist would wrap leaves around the bottom of the vase or container. Or do something decorative. This just looks like a heartless. Again a disgrace these flowers were cut and arranged this way. The only way this could be rectified is if they come take this back and give me the exact same flowers that are in this arrangement and I will arrange them myself. Update from 1star to 3. The flowers were displayed in the front of the store, wrapped similarly to grocery-store bouquets, and there were no signs indicating that customers should not handle them. When I picked up a bouquet and turned to ask a question, the owner immediately raised her voice and scolded me for touching the flowers, stating that customers were not allowed to do so. While I understand that stores may have policies about handling merchandise, it was not what was said that bothered me, it was the way it was said. The tone was unnecessarily harsh, embarrassing, and completely inappropriate. I apologized and explained that there was no sign and that I had no way of knowing the policy. Rather than accepting the explanation and moving on, the owner continued to repeat herself and argue. What should have been a simple, polite interaction became an uncomfortable confrontation. This was a special day surrounding prom, and customer service should reflect the significance of those moments. Unfortunately, I left feeling disrespected and unwelcome. Professionalism and kindness cost nothing, and this business could benefit from improving the way it communicates with customers.
