The food here is absolutely amazing. It is a cash only establishment so bring cash. They do Zelle and Venmo too. We got the Lombardy pizza which is a Gorgonzola Ricotta and mozzarella pizza with a balsamic glaze. It's extremely good and the garlic knots here are the best garlic knots I've ever had and that saying a lot. the fried calamari was cooked perfect. then we got the veal eggplant parmigiana is exquisite l. the service here was very good. our server Sebastian was a really good server. We really enjoyed his service. Everything was very good. They had the lights turned down nice Italian music playing in the background. all in all one of the nicest Italian restaurants I've been to in this area. Their cost is very reasonable, it doesn't cost an arm and a leg to eat at. We are super happy with this place. I definitely recommend it.

Hmmmm....wanted to love this place and have been meaning to try it for quite awhile. Honestly every time I thought about it before, the cash only policy stopped me. This time we made a concerted effort and went to the ATM prior in hopes of a new favorite Italian spot. Not sure I succeeded but am willing to return. Here's why. The good. Service with a smile. Friendly, efficient and accommodating. What more could you ask for in that category? The bad? Nothing really. Just "not quite there" when it came to the food and the ambiance. The garlic rolls, while complementary and tasty, were a little tough and a couple were burnt. The salad had a tasty balsamic but other than some onion chunks and one small piece of tomato had nothing else to offer. My Linguini Carbonara, which I ordered to check its authenticity and because the menu said it's a "dry pasta dish" was very saucy. Again, it didn't taste bad but didn't quite deliver on its promise, either. We also ordered a 14" Supreme Pizza. My husband enjoyed it (I didn't try). The half carafe of house Chianti was delicious. The ambiance just looked as though they gave up about 20 years ago. Clean, tidy and orderly but nowhere near its potential. I noticed on the website that the restaurant is "still open but is for sale because after 53 years it's just time." And it shows. I hope someone takes it over and gives it the love and attention it deserves. In the meantime, I may give it another try.

My husband and I had a friend recommend! And he was absolutely correct! It's a small quaint family run restaurant. We missed the cash only sign that was clearly posted in the front door and window - we had already ordered beverages when I noticed the sign in the window ... embarrassed we asked where a local ATM may be - they would have preferred we had cash but fear not - Venmo to the rescue! With that we ordered dinner and man oh man do they do their Nonna proud! Meatballs were super tender and the sauce amazing - deep in flavor and you would think Nonna, her self, was back in the kitchen!! The eggplant variations are amazing and delicate and definitely NOT bitter or tough (over breaded) as eggplant sometimes can be. The affogato (espresso served over gelato) rounded out a perfect meal and a lovely evening! Portions are plentiful and I typically have enough for lunch the next day!! This is now our go to Italian spot!!

Does the restaurant accept credit cards?

When I visited was cash only.

Wanted to try GiGi's but it was rather late and I didn't know what time they close. I don't see the hours on yelp or their website?

The mussels were absolutely the star of the show, they were plump and cooked perfectly, and the accompanying bread was 10/10. The antipasto salad was really good, red sauce was great, our cocktails were really well made, and we can be picky about cocktails. Located in a small shopping plaza, we probably drove by over a hundred times over the years and didn't even realize Nonna's was here. We were seated at a "bar table" overlooking the kitchen. This gave us the opportunity to look at everything people ordered. After ordering some great priced drinks we started with a Margarita Pizza. Really good with the "pure" taste I've experienced from better places in Chicago, New York and even Italy. The basil, tomatoes and cheese were tasted separately but came together so nicely. The crust was really good as well. We also ordered "zesty herb roasted chicken wings". They were good and had a nice flavor from the chili spices. Nonna's was packed but the service was excellent. We really have to also try Nonna's for dinner sometime. All I can say is "so many restaurants, so little time.

The last four or five 'highly recommended" Italian restaurants in the Jensen Beach/Stuart area we tried were OK to even pretty good but not at all memorable or begging another visit so we always went back to our favorite. Felt a little guilty coming here but WOW-we were blown away. We ate here twice before writing this review because I wanted to make sure our first visit wasn't a fluke. On the first visit my wife ordered Shrimp Linguine Fradiavolo which was a generous portion of shrimp over linguine with a wonderfully spicy marinara sauce. (She let me try it). I ordered Gnocchi Sorrentina which I customized to my preferences. Substituted marinara for meat sauce and added some charred Italian sausage. Probably the best gnocchi I've ever had. Portions of both dishes were large enough to take back to enjoy for lunch the next day. On our second visit, my wife had Spaghetti Al Pomodoro and I tried Veal Marsala. Both were north of wonderful! During both visits we also enjoyed fresh garlic bread. Uncle Guiseppe's is busy and noisy. Service is so good you don't notice the "busy" once you're seated. This was our best restaurant find this trip.

There were four of us, and three ordered different small pies, while one had Shrimp Scampi. Before i go further, i should mention that we had a new server, so there was a general acceptance of the need for patience. That said, we ran out. The Shrimp Scampi came out first, so we encouraged our friend to eat. About 10 minutes later, two pies came out and we were waiting on the third, which never arrived. Several requests were made and the response was that it was working. Well, after about 20-25 additional minutes the manager came over and apopogized. Apparently, the order was never placed. He ended up having it made anyway, and gave it to our frustrated diner to take free of charge. Very disappointing for all involved. I will say that the bartender was awesome snd the place has a great atmosphere, but...
