The food was good. We had 14 people in our group and all said the food was good! Clearly the owner knows cooking Italian. The reason for the low score is that the owner is unaware that the customer experience is important also . The air conditioning was set very low and it was extremely hot. According to other reviews this is not a new phenomenon in this resturant . We had to box up half our food and take the birthday cake somewhere else to enjoy it. The owner advised us the music method he uses was broke so we improvised and played Italian music on one of our phones. we hope the owner will use this review as a cue to upgrade his practices to ensure a comfortable and pleasant experience for those who choose to dine there. It makes zero sense why this place has a 3.1 star rating. It's a small Italian hole in the wall with incredible food, service and prices. The people that are rating the restaurant solely on the restaurant being outdated and old clearly don't have a brain. It doesn't take much brain power to understand that a restaurant can't afford to put that high of quality food out at $15/per full course meal if they're constantly paying to renovate it. OMG! We had a luncheon at our community which was catered by Fiorention's. What delicious food. The Chicken Frances's was tender, the Eggplant Rollatini was mouth watering, and Baked Ziti was perfect. Everyone complimented how wonderful these dishes were, and wanted to know when will we be doing this again and where is Fiorention's located. Oooops! Almost forgot the Cannolis were a big hit and everyone wanted seconds. We will diffently have them cater for us again. I'm sure some of our residents will be stopping by for dinner. read more

Unfortunately it did not meet expectations. My husband and I read great reviews of the place and said let's give it a try. Most common appetizer in an Italian restaurant mozzarella caprese they ran out of. Served almost empty bottle of frying oil as dressing instead of EVOO as dressing when I requested for oil and vinegar. The vinegar was refilled in a previous oil bottle and I can notice the oil settling on top of the inside of the bottle like mold. There was no fresh crushed black pepper ....no air condition ...no ambience the only noise we heard was the refrigerator sound coming from the kitchen. And a loud burp came from the chef . The place looks a bit run down and don't get me wrong we enjoy supporting neighborhood restaurants but it definitely needs to be updated and maybe a manger to upkeep the place. We ordered the sausage, peppers and onions pasta in marinara sauce. it was served with a choice of salad or soup and delicious garlic bread. The portions are more than generous!! Out bill including 2 ice teas came to $21.00 and change. That was on the lunch menu. They also have 2 entrees for $29.00. There is no way I could make this dinner at those prices. This gem is the best kept secret in Stuart. I will be going back again and again. They have all the Italian specialties: lasagna, eggplant parm and rolatini, fettuccinI. This place is a hidden gem! I can't believe how wonderful the food is. The sauce is 100% authentic and delicious. The owner personally came over to our table and gave some recommendations (the stuffed shells) that's what I ordered. The cheese was fresh and the portions were large. We got free garlic bread for the table to start with- who does that anymore? The dinner specials were reasonably priced. This place is underrated. Don't believe the bad reviews. I read many contradictory reviews before I went there for dinner with a group. First, let me say that their red sauce is made there and is pretty good. Whoever said it was out of a jar was totally wrong. We were a large group and everyone enjoyed what they ordered but the kitchen and waitstaff could not handle getting all the orders out at the same time for a large group. Somewhat hidden in a strip mall next to an antique shop Fiorentino's was our lunch destination. The decor was a bit dated, but we were quickly seated, and our drink orders were taken. The lunch offerings had everything from chicken parm to hot subs and finished up with the "healthy" soup and salad. Our table was filled with some fresh garlic bread that's taste matched the aroma. I had a chicken parm sub that was as tasty as it gets, and a great value for it's $5.00 price. A harried waitress ran by, angrily chomping on gum. "SIT ANYWHERE," she barked. Oh boy! We chose a lovely plastic table set in the back and I perused the wine list (actually a laminated card with no varieties listed). Call me a snob, but this is an Italian restaurant. They should at least tell you what type of bottom shelf box you're going to be drinking. Meanwhile, the 20-top of screechy silver-hairs were trying to figure out their coupon situation at decibel 11. Sweet lord in heaven. Two tables of people walked in, immediately received menus, and their server greeted them right away. I threw down the laminated Chianti card in disgust and walked out. I should of listened to the other reviewers and passed on this one too. The lunch menu was inexpensive and looked like large portions. I asked for an Italian dressing and they were on the table in clear plastic squeeze bottles that had a mayonnaise base in it and they were warm and clumpy and smelled terrible. I did not even take a chance on the salad. My chicken parm came and it was prefrozen chicken patties that you get from commercial vendors for prison. Had a Local Dines coupon that expired today - but couldn't get the "Lunch Special" because of the coupon - had to pay full and then apply the coupon. Waitress pulled dressing from her apron in a plastic squeeze container. It was an experience that we will pass on the next time the thought of Italian food while in Stuart rears its head again. Really hate to change my review but our experience here this year was just plan strange. The usually busy busy place was strangely half full. The food was good as ever but the service was totally off the wall. We waited for drink service even water. The waitress acted like she was trying out for stand up comedy. She served everyone soup and salad ordered or not. We saw one of our drinks waiting on the bar for several minutes. The table next to us had ordered calamari the next thing they knew she was standing there with their dinner. No soup! They sent it bad. A few minutes later she came back and asked if "they were ready to eat yet". The food was good, mussels with garlic,white wine and butter sauce, was the winner at our table. When I first walked in the atmosphere was very romantic and warm. Which was nice because I was coming here with my boyfriend. However, the waitress was smoking out front which I always take offense to. It's just not appetizing to see the person who will handle my food smoking a cigarette moments before. She did smell like smoke. I was being served my drinks when the waiter noticed I had my restaurants.com certificate pulled up on my phone and immediately pointed out that they would not accept the certificate from my phone, only on paper. What's the difference? It's for your restaurant! She insisted that I would save more money without it. (obviously false since saving $10 is always cheaper than not saving $10) She also claimed that the certificate was only valid under conditions that were not stated anywhere on the certificate itself. I visited this restaurant specifically because I had the certificate, so not being able to use it once I drove all the way there was a big disappointment. So right off the bat I was not please. I asked what imported beers they had, they had none even though it was on the menu. OK - My boyfriend and I ordered the lasagna. It was decent. I will admit it was not terrible. However, it was nothing to brag about and I had certainly had better. Overall the experience itself was underwhelming because of the simple fact that they wouldn't offer to accept the valid certificate that I had. There's no reason not to extend a courtesy to your customer, especially when they are a first time customer and the certificate is completely valid. You're trying to leave that customer with a really above and beyond service. Make them want to come back. I don't want to go back... like at all... ever. Sorry. read more
