Gigi is wonderful. Only place I'd trust my dogs after my in home groomer retired. They don't use cage dryers which have always made me nervous. My dog actually wags his tail when he arrives which never happens at a groomer where they dread going. Gigi has even pointed out medical issues my vet didn't catch. I have been going to Gigi's for years as in terms of grooming, they have taken great care of our cat and dog. However, that all changed today when I brought our cat in for a nail trim. They said he was aggressive and were unable to complete the nail trim. Granted, there were some verbal dogs present which may have agitated our cat, but he has been there many times before and was cooperative. What angered me is that one of the employees was rude and told me to take him to the vet. I told him that the cat is laid back and he went on to say that I don't try to trim his nails. They didn't charge me, but if the cat was acting up, why did they go ahead and trim his nails to begin with? I truly thought I had a groomer which I would stick with. However, this experience has forced me to look for another groomer. read more

DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR PETS. They SPRAINED my puppy's tail and he hasn't been able to wag his tail since. They took no responsibility and didn't bother to care. They took my money and tip without any remorse. If you love your pet, don't trust these people especially the manager. I took my healthy puppy in for a groom and he came out a couple of hours later crippled. He has always been a happy puppy and has his tail up all the time. Now he refuses to raise his tail and cries in pain when we touch it. His tail is swollen and red. I called the manager and his excuse was to blame it on my puppy. Stating that the breed of my puppy usually has a sensitive tail. My puppy is a small Pomeranian and they DO NOT have sensitive tails. Usually bigger dogs have a higher chance of spraining or breaking their tails. A small puppy can not sprain or injure their tails on their own. So the manager's lie doesn't even MAKE SENSE! I would give this place no stars if that was possible. The owner refused to refund me and refused to pay for my puppy's vet cost. Do no trust these people. They don't care about your pets only about their money. read more

How could a grooming company say they weren't paying attention and then blame the fault on a dog? I don't think these are "professional groomers" as they say in their about us page. A professional groomer would pay attention while grooming and be able to work around a dog that moves. Manager is refusing reimbursement of vet or service cost when the groomer stated they weren't paying attention while cutting the tail. They made us pay before we get to see our puppy and didn't even bother to call when they cut and sprained the tail. If you enjoy seeing your dog traumatized and now depressed, come on down to Gigi's. read more

Terrible,don't waste your money.This is a place where it's a husband an wife team .The wife is the groomer the husband lol,he's I don't know what he does phones I guess ? Any way I spoke to a girl one time I went in with my canine and I had a appointment.And I asked her if I could change it for a earlier one the kind girl said sure .So I changed it for the next week on a Monday ,early first in the door first out. The young girl was really nice .I get home my phone range ,it's this husband lol,he tells me not to make changes with the girl . Mind you this husband lol,was out of the building . So he said you have been canceled,then he said ok you can have it .I told him he can have his groomer shop.He said that's fine ,then he said next time with the next groomers tip more .Now can you believe this so called businessman husband lol saying such a ridiculous thing lol. Very secretive. I took my dog there for quite awhile. I never met or knew who was grooming my dog, yet they expected tips. I paid in cash and when I didn't have the correct amount, they just took a tip, without asking. Normally, I am a good tipper. If I know and like my groomer, I tip, generously. They're also the only groomer in the area that doesn't ask for proof of vaccinations. read more

The worst. Terrible cut. Injured our dog's scrotum. We asked them not to touch his scrotum, the first time they caused him irritation. The second time we extended grace because of Covid but second time shame on us. We have to hide our dog until his hair grows again. read more

Warning: They may SHAVE your dog without asking you!! Then hang up on you when you inquire why your dog was shaved! I will never take my dog to this groomer again. I gave this groomer a second chance at my most recent Pup because all the good reviews. We took our puppy in to get groomed and said to cut under the ears short because she gets matted under the ears. They shaved the dog completely down. When I called back they said that they were busy and she was matted all over her back and in anger they hung up on me to later call back and give me attitude and told me I know nothing. I owned a Bichon Frise who was an award winner that we flew across the country so I know what I am talking about. I know that she was not matted at all on her back. I know they rushed though and wanted to get to the next dog and collect our $65. Never again and hope this helps others who want attention to their dog rather than a rush job. read more

Before we tried Gigi's, we had come to look at a groomer as something of a necessary evil, since our dog Aurie seemed so anxious and upset each time we took her. We've tried a succession of places over the course of several years but nothing really ever seemed to change her demeanor...until we took her here! Simply put, she is MUCH more at ease now. The first time we tried Gigi's, we were impressed. It was clean and they were very friendly and listened to what our dog's needs were. George has seemingly formed a nice bond with her and and has somehow made her feel secure where no groomer for a long time has, which is the most important thing for us. Any professional groomer should be able to do an everyday clean and cut, but Gigi's really stands out by listening, accommodating, and creating an environment where pets are comfortable. Of course, our girl looks great whenever she is finished too! Turnaround times they quote me vary based on how busy they are, but I have found them to be quite accurate and never too long. Our dog's lack of shaking or whimpering when we pull up and bring her inside makes us feel much better about leaving her alone. She even wags her tail a bit when she sees George, something she has NEVER done at the groomer before. I'm not sure she'll ever be exactly EXCITED to get groomed, but our experience here has let us know that she's in the right hands! read more

The sign said, Pet Salon. I brought in the love of my life. My 30 pound cat Rushy. He walks on a leash and is a very good boy, He loves everyone, including dogs. He wasn't adopted for a whole year. Held in a little cage in Pet Smart...nobody wants the "fat kid" as this was the case when I went in to have him treated to a really nice brushing which he loves! Instead I was told .....we don't groom cats......hmmmmmm well he's been here before.....then I was told....well if we did groom cats you would need an appointment however we don't groom cats. Curt....and I felt discriminated against. Rude......Put on your sign "Dog Salon" instead of "Pet Salon" then I would get it. I was visiting my mom in the area, and needed to find a groomer last minute while I was in town. I needed my Shih Tzu Teddy basically shaved as low as possible, and called Gigi's.(I used to live right by there before I moved and had Teddy and heard great things). They told me to bring him in even though it was tight on time. Due to my own fault for not getting him to my regular groomer for a long time he was kinda matted. They totally took care of him, got his mats out, and he was so happy when I picked him up! I was sure he would be in a bad mood after going through a tough groom but he couldn't care less! Clearly he was well taken care of! I'm sure he felt so much better not carrying that heavy coat in the heat we have been having. I forgot how small he actually is! He even got a free toy included with his groom (SO SWEET) that I didn't think he would care for, but he squeaked it the whole way home! If I lived closer I would make this my regular groomer!!
