I was dying of hunger. It definitely did the trick! Make sure to ask for the peanut sauce with the fried rice noodles... YUMMY!

Great food, rice portion size could be a little bigger but the red curry and special egg roles are delicious

I felt like I could have shared this with my husband and it would have been enough to feed the both of us. Service: friendly!

We ordered -fried rice with chicken (3/5) - pretty heavy on rice and cabbage compared to any other ingredients, very mild, but enjoyed it enough. The baby corn in this and the veggies dish tasted weird, like a fermented / canned flavor (not "fish sauce fermented" - we love that - but like "accidentally overripe fruit fermented"). It wasn't great but I was hungry enough I could overlook it. -pad Thai with chicken (3/5) - nothing special but went down easy -stir fried veggies (#34, I think) (4/5) - vegetables pleasant and fresh tasting, except for the baby corn, see above). -pineapple juice - kiddo ordered this, it disappeared quickly -Thai green iced tea (1/5) - strong off putting medicinal flavor, like aspartame, couldn't drink this -yuzu gin cocktail - husband ordered this, it disappeared quickly Huge portions, as others have noted. We came hungry, but we could have only ordered two items for the three of us and still had leftovers. Overall, pretty middling for Thai food, but we were hungry and they took us in, which for a night where most places had no space was good enough.

Therefore, the earlier…read morereviews may not fairly reflect the current menu or quality of this restaurant, which was really quite good. This might explain the discrepancy between what I experienced vs. other earlier reviews. The Blue Elephant is a Thai restaurant in the Radisson Blu hotel in Copenhagen. I don't know if they remodeled the restaurant, but it is stunning. The ambiance is a 6 out of 5 experience. We found the service to be fine, so no complaints there. Most importantly, the food was really good. They served complementary crispy and addictive poppdoms, which is a deep fried, very favorable kind of cracker. For an entree, I had the stir fried pork dish and that was tasty and filling. As a side, I had what they called "steamed rice" which is really underselling the combination of basmati rice and another highly flavorful rice. This was excellent. My wife had the pineapple fried rice with chicken which was a show-stopper in terms of presentation. It was excellent. Summary: Although the other reviews are pretty mediocre, give this place a chance if you are staying in the hotel. We enjoyed it a lot.

I ended up only having a small portion - did not care for the taste. It was also over priced and service was poor. I would not recommend this Thai restaurant.
