My review is a bit mixed. Gil began servicing my pool in September 2019, and I continued with his service until March 2026. For most of that time, I was very happy. We had great conversations and built a good rapport, especially during the pandemic when I was working remotely and would often see him while he was servicing the pool. Unfortunately, over the last year or so, I began noticing a decline in the quality of service. Once I returned to the office and was no longer regularly observing the pool maintenance, several issues started to become apparent. I believe Gil may have hired additional help as his business grew, and the level of attention to my pool seemed to suffer as a result. Over the last several months, I noticed my pool's condition gradually deteriorating. My spa stopped working, the electrical panel door was frequently left open, the filter pump lid was occasionally loose and leaking water, and my pool cleaner sat in the same location for weeks without moving. I eventually discovered a broken Jandy valve that appeared to have been damaged for quite some time. What concerned me most was that I was never informed about any of these issues. I also found several bottles of algae-treatment chemicals discarded in a bucket in my yard. While this alone doesn't prove anything improper, it did raise concerns about whether chemical treatments were being used to mask underlying maintenance issues rather than addressing them (maybe another leading indicator to the increased annual service due to rising chemical costs). To be fair, I provided a full month's notice before ending service as a courtesy after nearly seven years as a customer. However, during that final month I began noticing algae spores developing in the pool, which further raised concerns about whether the pool was still being serviced consistently during the last couple of weeks. While the occasional price increases were noticeable, in all honesty, that wasn't my primary concern. My expectation is that routine maintenance includes identifying and communicating equipment problems before they become larger issues. In the final months, it felt more like a quick stop to remove a few leaves, throw in some chemicals, and move on, rather than the comprehensive pool service I had received for many years. I appreciate the good years of service and the personal relationship we developed, which is why this review is mixed rather than entirely negative. However, the decline in maintenance quality, lack of communication regarding equipment issues, and concerns about the consistency of service over the last few months ultimately led me to cancel after nearly seven years. read more

I have to assume most of these are fake reviews. This is literally the least professional individual I have ever encountered. He sold me a 2500 dollar pump, said installation and pump were guaranteed and under warranty. It's not functioning as expected so I have attempted to reach out to him repeatedly. I have called and texted him at least 10 times and he simply refuses to reply. Edit: Contacted me after seeing the 1 star review so I'll bump it up to a 3. But claimed he called me after my last attempt to reach him last week or that he texted me back. Neither of which are factual since I have him in my contacts and know exactly what the last time he called or texted, both end of August, beginning of September. read more

I left on vacation and made the mistake of leaving a solar pool cover on my pool. The sun and heat made my untreated pool turn green. I looked around, and found Gil. He came out the very next day to look at it and gave me his opinion. He noticed my filter was not big enough for my pool. He said let me know that my cover, plus poor filtration causes it. He turned my pool from green to clean in 2 days. He also gave me prices for a better filter. I went ahead and changed the filter. I went from a cartridge filter to a de filter. Great service, would definitely recommend them. I messaged them about an extremely last minute pool cleaning for a pool birthday party that I was hosting at my house in two days. I messaged Gil through Yelp very late at night and he responded right away. Not only did he respond right away but he was also able to help me with the pool cleaning service I needed and offered to come the very next day. He was extremely communicative at all times and he came at the time he stated that he would be coming. Once at my house, he inspected my water filter, even though that wasn't what he was there for, and he didn't charge for the inspection. He let us know the issues we had with the water filter and he let us know about any other minor things that needed some attention/replacement. He let us know his prices for the replacement, but he didn't once ever try to force any additional services on us. Instead, he was kind enough to let us know that while he did offer replacement services, that it was something we could also do ourselves, even giving us the names of places to go to for replacement parts at an affordable cost. His price for the last minute pool cleaning was extremely affordable and he was the first person to respond to my last minute request. Overall, my boyfriend and I had a great experience and would definitely recommend Gil to anyone looking to get their pool serviced and cleaned. My pool service after 22+ years resigned abruptly for new opportunities and recommended Gil. Called Gil and told him my issue, that the resignation happened when I was out of town for 2 weeks so I had a not so healthy pool. He seemed like a nice guy and we scheduled a time for him to come over. My previous pool service had stopped by and added chlorine to my pool, which I advised Gil of so we rescheduled another day.
