They denied telling me the prices, and I found out at the end the prices after my check up, and it was crazy. Make sure to triple check all the charges prior to taking any treatment. The lady on front will most likely tell you that they don't know the costs, since they need to check with your insurance first, so make sure to ask how much everything costs prior to insurance covering. It is a ridiculous amount that no one should pay for.

At my first visit with him, he rushed me through my general physical and talked *at* me rather than *to* me. I tried to talk to him about what I thought was a food allergy, and after I described what I was experiencing, he said, "if those foods are bothering you, then just don't eat them." I was kind of baffled by that. "Yes, of course," I agreed,"but I'd like to know if I'm truly allergic or not." His response was: "I can send you to an allergist, but they're really not going to be able to test for that." I suggested seeing a GI doctor; but his response was the same: "Waste of time." Oh, and he did all of that at the top of his voice in a quiet office. Thanks. I appreciate a doctor that can tell me the truth without the sugar-coating; but after getting a second opinion (which suggested I do see a GI to *confirm*), it was clear that Dr. Kim really didn't have time for me. The only upside to seeing this doctor was his outstanding office staff. PS. St. Jude Medical Ctr charges for parking in 30 minute increments, which is just plain mean.

Also, if you need a specialist or recommendation, it might take 2+ weeks for them to get back to you (with you calling at least 3 times to remind them). If they say they'll call you, never expect a call back. Dr. Nitta is great, always listens and does his best to help. I recommend him, but I can't jump over several hurdles to get an appointment, specialist or basic help anymore. I understand the office can be busy, but there is a difference in being busy and having an absolutely apathetic response to patients.

His staff is also great as they are responsive on the phone and fill prescriptions quickly - sometimes while I'm still sitting in the office so that they're ready for pick up at CVS down the road after my appointments. He also went the extra mile in getting a prior authorization for meds approved from my insurance, who have been very challenging to deal with to say the least. So if you walk in they just keep pushing your name back in line. After almost 2 hours I finally got in for a 3 min blood drawn . They should tell people when you check in it's going to be at least 2 hours and you will get pushed back by appointments first. It's like everyone that works in this office have and attitude and or unhappy no smiles at all maybe they shouldn't be working with people or they have been doing it so long they hate everyone. Just go somewhere else save your sanity
