My stylist thinned out my hair with thinning sheers but didn't use regular sheers to blend or create real layers, and used an electric razor and it made my hair blunt and the hair curl inwards instead of layers. I wasn't even going to leave a review because I felt bad for even asking for a refund but Stuart was rude when I was asking if I could get the full amount back and I even apologized and I said it was ok if I couldn't and he said "that was time you took up on her schedule" in a rude tone and I felt patronized so I explained that they messed up my hair and he said "it was messed up before you came in" and hung up on me. I felt so bad asking for a refund instead of letting them fix it in the first place because I didn't want to risk a worse haircut, but after that response I feel like I made the right call and don't want others to make the same mistake. I was so shocked and hurt. I felt so bad for not liking it but I couldn't believe how he made it sound like I inconvenienced my stylist when I have to live with this hair and I cried for over an hour because i felt so ugly. She also clipped me with an electric razor and I included pictures. I won't name the stylist because she probably just isn't used to my hair type but I am name dropping Stuart because he was so mean when I was feeling down.

I was dropping my wife off at a new massage business and was looking for a place to park while I…read morewaited. I noticed an empty parking space with a cone on top of a pole nearby. There was another pole in front of the next space that clearly had a "No Parking" sign, but the space I was considering had no sign, no painted markings, and nothing indicating it was reserved or restricted. As I got out of my car, a man abruptly said, "That's barber shop parking." There was no "excuse me" or "pardon me"--just a blunt, unfriendly remark. Rather than argue, I moved my car several spaces away to avoid any issue. While waiting for my wife, I noticed something interesting. The spaces closest to the barber shop, aside from the clearly marked reserved spaces, were being used by what appeared to be employees. It gave the impression that they were informally claiming nearby parking spaces that were not actually marked as reserved. My issue isn't with reserving parking for customers--businesses have every right to do that if it's clearly designated. My issue is with confronting people over parking spaces that have no signs or markings indicating any restriction. If the barber shop wants those spaces to be exclusive, they should properly mark them instead of putting customers of neighboring businesses in an awkward position. Based on this experience, I left with the impression that this barber shop is more interested in policing parking than being courteous to people visiting other businesses in the area.

Christy cut my hair and while she was nice, I feel that the layers do not blend well together and it instead creates more of a triangle effect towards the bottom. I wanted to keep as much length as possible but the shortest layer is probably about 4-5 inches shorter than the longer pieces. I would keep looking for another salon if you have a similar curl pattern.

It took 5 hours and while Dianna was drying my hair, she was talking about all the things that went wrong; how the root touch up didn't "hold" like it was supposed to, how I have "color buildup" in certain areas so the color is "uneven"(which if I had color buildup, it's due to one of her other stylists that's been coloring my hair), how there wasn't much difference in my hair but "it'll get lighter over time", etc. Somehow, the cost was $405, which I think is a complete scam. I paid it all in cash and a few days later, they charged my card $405 as well, so they took $810 from me, for hair that I didn't ask for. They said that my "transaction never went through" and I told them I paid them in cash so they should never charge my card in the first place, and they claim they gave me a refund but I'm still waiting on it to go through. In addition, they made appointments for me that I was never informed of & completely unaware about until 2 hours before & they were upset when I didn't show up.
