We filed a claim with their error and omission insurance, which denied everything and said all the wood must have rotted within the month between inspection and our discovery.. the wood is not even sitting on parts of the sill it's so rotted. It's clearly long term damage. They also include a clause in the inspection contract that says if they do miss anything, they are only liable for the cost of the inspection! They have no incentive to do a thorough job.
