The location is also a huge plus--super convenient for getting around South Bend. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay, which always makes a difference. Check-in was smooth, and any questions I had were handled quickly. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that there were a few small things that could be improved (nothing major, just little details that would make the experience perfect)... concession & food options & prices. Overall, though, it was a great stay and I would definitely come back!

Dennis and Ron are consummate professionals who executed our event seamlessly. From the beginning, they were responsive, helpful, and knowledgeable. The inclusive nature of the venue made wedding planning relatively stress free - we just needed to handle the cake and photographer. The food, florals, DJ, decor, etc. were all handled through Beiger - and they were all fantastic. The food was definitely a highlight for our guests! Dennis did an amazing job keeping everything running smoothly on the day of the wedding. The mansion is stunning inside and out, which made for amazing photos and ambiance. You can tell how much thought was put into the appearance of every room. Members of our family and bridal party stayed there for a few days and loved it. It was such a beautiful place to start our marriage. Dennis and Ron were so delightful to work with. We wholeheartedly recommend them for any event -- especially a wedding!

It's homey, but it has amazing character; the owners- Ron and Dennis- have created such a beautifully designed inn with antiques, historical pieces and artwork. The breakfasts were sumptuous and filling, and the rooms were so uniquely designed. Each one was different and looked like something out of the Victorian era. Our room was quite large, with a sitting area, large bathroom with a standalone tub and shower, and a cozy fireplace. We couldn't have asked for more. I highly recommend the Beiger. I can honestly say I have never seen anything like it...

We planned our wedding from Los Angeles and Keith was amazing throughout the whole process. We rented the tables, chairs, and linens from The Brick--it was all beautiful! The venue was a reasonable price. Everything was laid out very clearly in the contract and the FAQs. Anything I needed help with, Keith was available by e-mail and responded very quickly. Our vendors were easily able to access the venue to set up catering (The Landing) and the cake (C'est La Vie). It was a stress free and beautiful day. I couldn't ask for anything better! Thank you for such a great day/night!

Around 7:30 PM, I went to the bar to receive mine, but the bartender acted as though giving me the drink was coming out of her own pocket. She told me that someone else should have already gotten it for me instead of simply honoring what was included for the wedding guests. As a member of the wedding party, I should have received the same complimentary drink as everyone else. The interaction felt dismissive and unwelcoming, and it left a poor impression of the customer service. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend using this venue if this is how guests are treated. Customer service is an important part of any event, especially a wedding, and unfortunately this experience fell well below expectations.

Our evening turned out like this. It was 5:30pm we entered the restaurant and stood patiently in the family dining area . No one came. We sent a scout to the bar upstairs. He came down and told us that we could bring the 8 year old up if we sat in the hallway but it seated 4. Our scout carried a chair upstairs for our 5th party. We waited another 8 min. No one came . After 10 min. We prepared to leave . A server said, " are you leaving?". Yes! And we left. This was a Friday night experience. The server was there by herself. She was intending to cook-serve and bar tend. I wish this place the best. It's adorable. Since I can't judge the food or really the service, my suggestion is to call ahead and see if they are staffed and ready.

It looks like a great place for a wedding reception. Quaint quiet town! The reception area is large and the depot is fantastic Just found out that a band plays here every Thursday. I bet this place will be hopping. Seriously, I wish we were sticking around longer- ordered the bean soup - husband says it's hot and good. Salmon sandwiches and steak burger. Side options are chips or applesauce. The food smells great while we wait. Pop is flat. Beer is cold. Water is wet. Gnat season is in full swing. Food is good. Nothing to ring a bell over but a solid dinner while traveling on 30. Just a mile off the highway!! Would I come back - sure, nothing but miles behind me and more in front of me to make this place a super spot for us to have made a reservation!!!
