This is one of the last restaurants my wife and I did not try at the casino at Choctaw. It is a western theme one and is a popular one. We went at probably the worst time as there was a concert and it was very busy. We were able to get a table really fast, but getting the food is a different story. We got the prime rib special for $30 dollars and it goes in a good size. The meat is pretty good and better than the buffet. We ordered the mushrooms, but they ended up being cold. I am not so sure if it was sitting out there for quite some time. I ordered the chicken sandwich and it was extremely try. I think the queso did not help at all I think it needed some sauce instead. Service was alright they were really busy though. Would I come here again, maybe, but not my first choice. read more

While visiting the casino, we decided to eat at Gilley's. I am a huge fan of Urban Cowboy and thought the place was really nice. Seating was fast, they did not have a crowd. Brittany was our waitress and was friendly. They have a wide selection of menu items, from chicken to fish to tacos. I ordered the chicken quesadilla with green beans and fried mushrooms. The mushrooms were my favorite. Very good meal. Great portions, I was so full. My friends got fried fish and chicken wings. Also a side salad which was more like a meal. Two people could eat on that salad. They had a live band coming around 930 that night. We were not staying, we had gambling to do. We visited Gilley's for dinner on 3/14/16. It is located in the Choctaw Casino. It has a dance floor and even live music later in the evening. We ordered the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and bacon green beans. Yummy!! Great, good ol' southern food. Spot on for what you would want from a chicken fried steak meal. Food arrived hot and fast. Staff was great. 10/10 Ambiance was fun. This was my first time back at this gilley's in years. I got buffalo wings for my entree, something I remember being great which thankfully still was! I really wanted a caesar salad, but was a bit thrown off by them only offering a full entree version (even without protein added, it was huge.) I started with fried pickles which were great, but came out without the chipotle ranch which truly made them so much better when I did finally get it. Stopped in on a Thursday evening when we were wandering around the casino and saw the sign for bar trivia--yes! They were on the 4th question so we joined in with no expectations. Got our table and cocktails, ordered fried pickle appetizer because I have a type and these did not disappoint--crispy, pickly, and served with a side of ranch. The room is open to the casino with a mini Gilleys vibei can't see Bud and Sissy falling in love two stepping around that tiny dance floor but the ambience was there. Answered a few trivia questions and gained a few trivia points. Let's do this! We both ordered the chicken tenders--he asked for onion rings and I asked for a double salad instead of the dinner salad that came with the dinner. A few more questions, a few more points ... and we were no longer in last place despite our late start! Yes! Salad came out and instead of a bigger bowl, I got two dinner salads--eh, no big deal, just enjoyed my big salad in two bowls, lol. The chicken arrived and it was a pile of chicken indeed! Food was horrible. Fried mushrooms needed some seasoning. Sirloin steak texture was more like chopped steak. My husband finished a fourth of it. Outer edges were well done, when med rare was ordered. Chicken on the chicken sandwich was like a shoe sole. I couldn't bite through it and cutting it with a knife was like sawing a log. The servers never came to our table after being in there for an hour, they just kept walking by and congregating around the bar. I asked a server if anyone bothers to come around my particular area and she stated she served a different area but would let someone know. Still nothing. Absolute must have on your visit!!! Kristie B. was an amazing bartender, her ability to multitask is something to be recognized. Her clear communication and happy demeanor was highly appreciated. This is a cool spot inside the Choctaw Casino and Resort. We had dinner on a Saturday evening and there was no wait. The food was ok. I had a salad with grilled chicken. The chicken was slightly over cooked. The drinks were good. There was a Garth Brooks cover band that played from at least 10-midnight. This place is a joke for food or service- $5 for a "salad" that was actually burger toppings. Oh and the manager brought it out; I had no silverware and then had to wait while the bartender walked past me, and spoke to the manager in the kitchen line, then exited the other way. NEVER AGAIN! We checked in for a table at 7:10pm and were told the wait was about 20-25 minutes. They sent us a text which never went off again to alert us that the table was ready. We checked back in after waiting 25 minutes and were able to get seated. We ordered immediately and got our drinks immediately. Then, we waited 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 60 minutes, 70 minutes after ordering we received our food. The Waitress said it had been a bad day for them. The Assist Manager, who I went and found, said the host was new and it was his fault. Then I found the restaurant manager, she also blamed the new host and when I asked why they are seating tables knowing the kitchen is on an hour back up, she blamed Choctaw. The manager finally brings out the food. It was COLD. How do I wait for 70 minutes for food and then it gets delivered cold? I wondered the same thing and the manager agreed that she would bring me out replacements for everything cold. It's been almost 24 hours and I would still be there waiting! I really wanted to like this place because it's convenient being in Choctaw when you want to sit down and eat, and especially when the service this time was really fast and awesome. My favorite thing were the mashed potatoes because they were mashed with the skin and that's my preferred choice versus when you can tell they came from a box of dried potato purée.. The chicken fried steak itself was so chewy I almost choked it was so hard to eat unless I drownedddd it in gravy. Wouldn't recommend overall. Twice been here and disappointed with the food. We went to Gilley's to grab a bite before a concert and it was not a great experience at all. We ordered ribs, and while one order was enough to feed 3 people, they were hands down the worst ribs I've ever had. They were dry and so salty!!! The cole slaw was also very salty and the sweet tea was instant. Really? It takes too much effort to brew tea I guess. The waitresses were pleasant but when it came to splitting the check between 2 cards, even the manager couldn't do it. That's never happened to me in an eating establishment before. This is a nice little restaurant inside of the Casino that serves traditional American food (burgers, wings, etc). I got the smoked half chicken which was very flavorful and came with BBQ sauce. I also got mashed potatoes and green beans. The mashed potatoes and brown gravy were awesome! Full of flavor. The green beans were sautéed with diced onion and bacon which made them very flavorful! My wife got the steak chili which moderately spicy and VERY good! It was served with diced red onion and shredded cheddar cheese. Excellent chili! (Also came with a cheddar biscuit). The service we got was good and the prices were reasonable. For casual food this restaurant was excellent. Would recommend! read more

We went here to see a few concerts while at the casino for the weekend. We should have gotten there sooner as the place filled up around 10:00 pm and there was nowhere to sit. We stood against a rail to watch the band. The dance floor is right in front of the stage which takes up the better part of the room. The next night we got a table a few hours earlier and were good to go! The service was better than average from a friendly local girl. The crowd wasn't too rowdy and everyone seemed to be having a good time. I ordered some cheese sticks which came out as cheese patties. They didn't look as good as they tasted, pretty darned good!! They serve them with salsa and ranch dressing. My mother in law had quesadillas and she said they were very good. If I could give it less than one star I would wish I had read the review before we waited an hour to be seated. Took 15 minutes for a waitress to take our drink order. Took 30 minutes for an appetizer that was supposed to be chicken nachos. Watched the guy carry it by our table three times so by the time it got to us, we were right by the kitchen, it was cold. Waited another 25 minutes for our dinner. The waitress never checked on us. I ordered smoked pork chops, loaded mashed potatoes, green beans and jalapeño bacon cornbread. The pork chops were some thin version of a pork steak. Inedible. The green beans were not cooked and hard as a rock. The loaded mashed potatoes were cold and tasteless. My hubby ordered a two meat plate of brisket and ribs, baked beans and fries. It also came with the dry cornbread and no butter. The brisket had the nasty fat line that was about half an inch between the meat. Nasty. The ribs were not edible. He said the baked beans were ok since they came out of a can. The only positive was the tea. It was good. Wasn't refilled but it was good. Not one person from the waitress to the hostess asked how everything was. If they had we would have let them know. This restaurant is not as bad as the reviews might have you believe. The atmosphere is great for a sports/dance bar and the food was good. I've never seen cheese sticks so big! They call them "jack sticks" and they come with salsa and ranch, which I thought was weird, but they were good. The few bites of my hubbie's prime rib I enjoyed were flavorful, and my chicken tortilla soup was abundant with chicken and southwest veggies. Very tasty. Now the sweet potato fries, they were mostly tasteless. And it took a few minutes to get a server and our drinks, but service was attentive after that. read more

The food here was pathetic. I ordered catfish with fries and a side salad and my wife ordered a dinner salad w/ chicken fried chicken. First off the dinner salad was nothing more than iceberg lettuce with cucumbers and tomatoes. The waitress never came around to check if we needed anything. Crackers would have been a nice option for the salad but no one came anywhere near us after serving the salad. Then the catfish came out and I'm not quite sure this was catfish? It was mediocre at best, the fries were lukewarm, the jalapeño cornbread was hard as a rock (no butter to help soften it up), the two hush puppies were ok I guess. The highlight of my meal was a $6 pint of Michelob ultra! My wife's dinner salad was just a larger version of my side salad with COLD fried chicken on it! If you're at Choctaw casino I would recommend walking past Gilleys and try something else at the casino, i haven't had anything else at the casino but I promise you they would have to really work at it to suck worse than Gilleys! read more
