We came in for late lunch on a Sunday and were seated immediately as a party of five. We ordered chef's salad and calamari to share. I split a chicken piccata and chicken parmigiana with my husband. My kids had a full size lasagna and a kids spaghetti with meatballs. Our guest had a lasagna. After we ordered they brought out plenty of bread and sauce for the table which was a nice treat. Everything we ordered tasted fresh and the sauce had herbs and was thick. It definitely gave more of a homemade vibe. Wife and I visited Napoli's on Thursday September 25th, which was one of our 100s of visits. Always recommend this place and their pizza is awesome!! Also, all of their pasta dishes are great. I've been to this restaurant several times and it's consistently good food. From the pizzas, calzones, to the lasagna, the portion sizes are generous. This trip, I had the calzone and swapped out the traditional sausage for pepperoni. The crust, which will make or break a calzone, was perfect. She made our lives so much better with the great help she gave up and she was very attentive but knew we needed privacy and only checked on us when she could see we needed her. This was an impromptu stop turned treat. We got the basics so the food was simple but so delicious. They had fancier items in the menu too all at reasonable prices. Inside there is a bar area on one side and then a restaurant side separated by host area in between. The ambiance is casual. It wasn't busy as we got there past lunch hour. Between the fam we had cheese pizza, cheese sticks, meatball ravioli with marinara and a Alfredo type chicken dish I cannot recall the name. Everything was splendid. I took my "dad tax" bites out of everyone's plate so speaking from experience here. The service was friendly and attentive while we were there. I'm not sure how rush hour goes but they are nice folks so I doubt it'd be bad. This is a worthy stop and definitely the food will speak for itself. read more

Reading Sarah C's review about the cooking staff telling the waitress to bring out the dish for her husband that had just been served to another patron tells me the cooking staff is not careful with the food. I've seen this before... As a teenager, I had a few jobs at restaurants as a server. I recall a couple of places where the cooks didn't give a flying flip on sanitation. For example: Drop the chicken in the floor?... no problem. Throw it back on the grill. I saw stuff like this all the time. I wanted this place to be so much better. The building is nice, inside is great. Food, meh. Quality control would help a lot here. First the salad was soaking wet and I used my napkin to soak it up. Second the rolls have no salt and are bland as my shoelaces. Thirdly the chicken franchise, while it tastes good, is swimming in too much sauce. SWIMMING Last but not least, WHY do you add parsley as a garnish when there's already some in the sauce and it's WAY too much. It doesn't make it more appealing or appetizing. read more

I really like Napoli's. The ownership is on site, the food is always good and the service we receive from Nita and the entire staff is excellent. Pottsboro is blessed to have such an excellent, customer friendly establishment. The hometown atmosphere is welcoming, warm and inviting. The bar can be a noisy spot but mainly because everyone is enjoying themselves. We have sampled many of the entrees and really enjoy the garlic bread appetizer, house salad with house dressing, the pizza, chicken Parm and the spaghetti with bolognese sauce.
