Elliott was the wonderful server who paid great attention to us and while one of our favorite waitresses, Paige has moved on, there is another Paige who was wonderful to us. As Basin 141 turns to another Paige (sorry, I had to), we are as well and are seriously looking to move to Montrose as it's a wonderful town and with this restaurant in the same area, we could become frequent flyers. Their ube-flavored drinks are also really good, so we tried the Ube Macapuno Porter. Their calamansi drinks are amazing too, so we had Lola's Wit, a Belgian Wit with calamansi and coriander. They also have some interesting Japanese beers like Yasuke, a Matcha Black Lager, and Kanpai Krush, a Sushi Rice Lager. I'll definitely be back for more of their great tasting beer. I politely explained that I had not left my seat at all and that my current beer was still nearly full. Rather than acknowledging the possibility of a mistake, she responded, "I'm pretty sure it was you, but okay." To make matters worse, the beer was ultimately added to our bill despite none of us ordering it. I completely understand that mistakes happen, especially during busy shifts. However, arguing with a customer over an order they did not place and then charging them for it is not acceptable customer service. The food and atmosphere are the reasons we keep coming back, but experiences like this take away from an otherwise great establishment. I hope management addresses the issue so the service can match the quality of the food.
