Wow our first time trying out one of the VIP rooms with the private space! Definitely worth it! It can accommodate a lot of people, there are several billiard tables to play at and relax, and the bartenders in the back are working hard and quick to give you and your friends the drinks! Tried out and became a huge fan of the green tea shots. Totally unexpected in terms of flavor and taste from how one would think it would be like from the name. I enjoyed using the billiard tables and playing darts. The bathrooms were also private, just very dark in the hallway to walk through, but the light switches work. You can follow the timeslots of the booking options online but there is an option to choose a custom time for more money. I like the chalkboard feature where you can name your party/hangout event and pretty much customize the sign to your liking. Would definitely like to do this again in the future. You can choose either the upstairs one (more people included) or the downstairs one. Mr Furley's Bar is one of the popular dive bar in downtown Glendale. This bar is extremely spacious with multiple red pool tables, tv and a full bar with wooden counter top. Similarly, they have photo booth and clean restroom. Their alcoholic drinks from beers to cocktails are extensive with unique nicknames as well as their food. Bartender is friendly and competent. We came here to grab a drink after work and watch the NBA and Dodgers games. Plenty of parking garage in the area. Overall, I had a good time at Mr. Furley. I highly recommend. read more

Very loud atmosphere, expect to be sort of yelling with your group of friends and to the bartenders!!! It was very crowded at the front bar but there is a bar on the other side too where you can grab seats. The bartenders were efficient. The wait time for guac and chips was at least 30 minutes, which was really long!!! I found the chips to be on the saltier side and the guac was pretty good, although I would crunch into really spicy jalapeno peppers. Overall an easy dish to munch on. I've played billiards there before for $8 an hour in the past with a group of friends and had a great experience. The bathrooms were pretty clean. Street parking upfront for $3 an hour and there are lots in the back where you have to pay $2 an hour. How can you not love Furleys?! It's so unpretentious, drinks aren't watered down, never hard to get a pool table, and always a great, local, low-key girls night out spot to end the night. Not to mention prices are great too and they have an even more solid happy hour. Melissa was our server/bartender she was helpful and helped us figure out which signature drinks would be fun to try, a good selection of food for our group and pool table time. Prices were fair we went to happy hour that started at 5 pm. They charge 18% tips on bills over $100. We were on the hunt for a quick beer and burger and happily stumbled upon Mr. Furley! Really enjoyed our little bit of time there. We were running some errands in Glendale and I was super hungry, luckily for us, we were in a happening part of Glendale with tons of food options. Fun fact: I'm a Three's Company fan, so of course I was intrigued by name and headed on in. There's a little bit of a dress code to keep the riff raff out. This place is huuuuuuuuuge! I can totally see myself here to celebrate a wide range of celebrations here simply because of how spacious it is. There are multiple games (mainly pool) throughout and lots of people seemed to be enjoying themselves. I was obsessed with the idea of chomping down on a burger and the Charbroiled burger was super yummy. Very simple and alterations aren't allowed, but I devoured the entire thing. Delicious! We also got the Bavarian pretzels with mustard and melty cheese sauce to accompany. There was a giant beer menu and I opted for the Monk's Flemish sour, perfect addition to go with my burger. Skinny Latina lady with tattoos if I remember correctly. She payed attention and was on top of us and every body else. The cups all look like they barely get rinsed with water yet alone washed properly, I'm forced to have my drinks with a straw as if I'm having a fruity feminine drink. Employees are dry and rude. Several times me and my boys have left 100% tips and we still get crap service. One night me and my cousin came in for some drinks and burgers. We ordered two burgers with fries. After waiting over 45 minutes on a slow week day and having 3-4 drinks each. We finally received ONE BURGER WITH FRIES. Who wouldn't be angry? The order could not get any more simpler. Some of us have actual back breaking 12hr shift jobs with no time to have a normal lunch. We got attitude and disrespect from each and one of the employees working that night. Not one of them had the audacity to be professional. I assure you none of them would have been barking if they were not inside that facility with security. If I was a server/bartender. If I had made such a mistake I'd apologize sincerely take that one burger back and do my best to come back with two orders. Instead we got disrespected and taunt, had that one order sit between me and my cousin till the second one came out again 45 minutes later. Then we had to argue which one of us is going to eat the cold order. The employee that's a blondish female with short hair (like a buzz cut) and glasses that looks like a dude. I've been coming to Mr Furley's Bar regularly with friends, and until tonight we always had good experiences. Friendly atmosphere, decent service -- that's why we kept coming back. Tonight completely ruined that impression. We arrived around 12:00 AM. At 1:20 AM, there was last call for drinks, which we understood and respected. We were sitting quietly with our group, not causing any disturbance, not bothering anyone -- just calmly finishing our cocktails. The bar is advertised as open until 2:00 AM. At 1:50 AM, a security guard approached us and began rudely and aggressively forcing us out. Not politely. Not professionally. Aggressively. We calmly asked for just two more minutes to finish our drinks -- our cocktails were still mostly full. Instead, the security guard: * spoke to us in a hostile and disrespectful manner * forced us out of the restroom, not even allowing us to use it * took away our cocktails before we could finish them * treated us as if we were doing something wrong, when we absolutely were not This behavior is completely unacceptable. There is no excuse for treating paying customers this way. If you want guests gone earlier, then don't say the bar is open until 2:00 AM. What kind of service is this? What kind of management allows security to behave like this? The entire mood of the evening was ruined. What should have ended as a relaxed night with friends turned into frustration and embarrassment. This was unprofessional, disrespectful, and left a very bad impression. We came here over the weekend and it was packed. Prime time is 930-10am starting. There was a long waitlist for pool but we put our names down and it went by quick while we were playing shuffle board. The pool tables are old and some of the balls go stuck in the pockets and we had a difficult time taking them out. Not sure if there's a way to avoid this. Overall it was a good time but too crowded. I've been to every location now and it feels like they ignore you if you're a single woman and usually prioritize the male customers right next to you. I know pool is usually a male dominated space but I've never been constantly brushed off by bartenders more than Furley's locations. I haven't been here in years and it was pretty cool to come back and try. It's a nice vibe and I love how it's a bar and pool spot. Came on a Thursday night and it was pretty live and fun!! They played good music and a cool spot to try if you like pool and good bar vibe. It's pretty spacious inside with lots of seating. The service here was cool, they are attentive and at the bar they come to assist you quickly. The bar does not have cognac so that was a negative but they do have a lot of other options and spirits. They French fries I ordered were just okay nothing spectacular, but it will do Justice if your hungry and want a small bite. For my drink I ordered the The Mr. Furley's and it was decent. Overall, I'll come again to Mr. Furley's Bar. I enjoyed myself and the ambiance was good! If your in Glendale and looking for a fun night for pool and drinks, I feel this is the place to go! The food is pretty standard bar food. They got nachos , chicken wings, and a burger or two. Got the chicken strips and nachos. They were ok. Good for soaking up the booze. I was there last night for a birthday party. My friends had finished eating and we wanted to play UNO but the dishes were in the way (I understand they are busy so I was not mad). I picked them up, waited for the bartender to finish up helping some clients, and I asked the bartender BELLA if she could take these from me. She said no there is someone who will go around and pick them up (I'm assuming the bus boy) (the way she said it made it seem as it was above her pay grade and no she was not too busy to pick them up) I was upset because I had previously done the same with another male bartender and he had no issue with it. I waited a bit and I asked another male bartender instead and he had no issue as well. I was very upset because I have been there a few times and never ever had an issue with anyone. I've been coming to Furley's for a while now, and overall, it's a solid local spot. It has that laid-back sports bar vibe with a welcoming, almost family-like atmosphere. The bartenders are consistently friendly and attentive, which definitely adds to the experience. Shout out to the security team AP, Jason, and the gentleman with the gold chain (wish I caught his name) they're always respectful and professional. That said, there are a couple things that could be improved. The music selection could use an update, some more current tracks it would definitely help liven things. Happy that their happy hour lasts until 8! It was my first time at Mr. Furley's and I loved how you can rent out a pool table for 7 dollars an hour. Their prices are also super fair. I wasn't expecting much for the food since it was relatively well priced and I don't have high expectation for bar food but it came out freshly made and tastes amazing. We've been to this location many times and on a variety of days, primarily Thursday, Friday and Saturday, all at night between 8pm and 1am. This place is pretty great, it's a very large venue, they have more pool tables than a pool hall, if you want to have a private party they have 2 private areas you can rent for a very reasonable price, they have many beers on tap and a good selection of appetizers you can also order if you're getting any cravings. The private room on the main floor is all the way in the back, beyond the pool tables available to the general population. It is clearly separated so no one will accidentally wonder into the area. In this room you'll have your own pool tables, shuffle board and dart board. You also get your own bathroom and bar with a bar tender which has access to the same things that the main bar has outside of the private room. In general I'd say this is a great venue to have get togethers, wether it's a casual night out with friends, an organized event or just going out with a bunch of friends for a birthday and meeting up here. The place is very large so you wouldn't really have to give them advanced notice even if you're having like 40-50 people meeting up there. Welllll... maybe if it's like a random Tuesday night or something... but I wouldn't really know about that. Their food is also so good, my favorites include the cheese logs and beef skewers but I haven't ever ordered anything I didn't like. The venue is facing brand blvd so it's usually happening on these nights, you'll see people coming and going to the variety of locations around the venue. The parking is not ideal. You have street parking where you'll have to pay at the meter but it's usually a challenge to find a spot. There is a parking structure one block over. And there is a parking lot right behind the venue, where you'd typically find an alley, this is the least ideal parking since there is no direct path to the other side of the block so you're walking all the way around. All parking costs money, but not going to break the bank. The service has been consistent with a typical bar, during the rush you may be waiting a few minutes but you won't get ignored. The ambiance has always been fun, there is positive energy in the air, people are there to have a good time, good drinks and good food. Overall, we've been coming to this spot for a while and definitely see ourselves coming in the future. read more

The food here is surprisingly good and the drinks are all very good. I've been here maybe 10 times and we always have a great time. The pool tables are all in good condition and the pool hall area is very clean and more upscale than any other pool hall I've been to. Service is great, drinks and food come out fast. And my favorite part it's "Three's Company" themed which was one of my favorite shows growing up. This is a 5-star review for a private party rental of the lower VIP room. I just celebrated my birthday here, and we had SO MUCH FUN! I reserved the room about over a month ago via email. I sent in the deposit via Venmo, and that was that. Easiest reservation to make! Upon arriving, our two staff members -- Katie and Melissa -- were so helpful, kind, and ready to create a fun experience for my party. I was able to arrive about 15 minutes before my reservation time so I could put up some decorations and get the vibe going. Without hesitation, Katie was helping my set up too. I so appreciated that. Then my guests started arriving, and I had already asked Katie to set up the most popular dishes out on the bar, so my guests would have snacks. Again, with no hesitation, everything went smoothly. It was so great to have the games included in the rental. And with our private bartender staff plus our own bathrooms for guests, and lastly -- an aux cable to plug in our playlist -- it was just an awesome night all around. Perhaps my ONLY complaint would be that it got pretty warm in there. The room is meant for up to 75 guests, and I had about 25 at most, and it still got pretty hot. But if you stood in the right spot, you would feel some nice cool air. Despite this being a complaint, it didn't damper the mood, but it would have been great if it was just a tad bit cooler in there! At the end of our rental, a security guard let everyone know party was over, and we just moved the party to the general bar area. Smooth and great experience overall.
