She also sells goods from local artists and artisans around the area. My favorite part of my visit was seeing what Mary Ellen was working on in her studio, and hearing about her inspiration for her art pieces. I noticed that a lot of her art included dragonflies, and she had mentioned that the area is home to one of the most dense populations of dragonflies in the country. I love that she pulls inspiration from her surroundings in Door County.
