Dr.Gilwit just perform my cataract surgery and he was amazing. The prep that I had before in his office what great. Everybody walk me through, everything and explained everything , I felt very much at ease. Top notch staff. Dr. Gilwit answered all my questions and and I never felt rushed. Surgery was performed at a building associate with the hospital but you never go into the actual hospital which is great. The staff at the hospital answered all my questions and Dr. Gilwit went over everything with me before and after surgery . He called me that night to check. My follow up appointments since also have been great. I can also say that my quality-of-life has changed. This office is very money hungry. I went there to have a chalazion removed and after paying my $120 copay, Dr. Gilwit gave me a quick exam and referred me to someone else. During the exam he plucked 3 eye lashes and checked out my glands and billed my insurance $475. I wish I would've checked these reviews before going there. read more

Awful, Terrible, Dishonest..... Dr. Gilwit got caught. Billed my insurance company and me for same EXACT procedure. My insurance company and they said he was warned not to do that again. It was not the first or second time he got caught doing this practice. Not to mention the prescription for my glasses were incorrect. DO NOT USE THIGS DOCTOR! RIPOFF!!! read more
