I liked the place. The pizza was very good. It had strong chain vibes upon entry but I was pleasantly surprised by the pizza. The slices are much bigger than I expected. The lemon ricotta was my favorite.

Yum! Best pizza slice in town. They only serve by the slices here but each slice is ginormous! You order at the counter and can either sit in their patio or inside. Despite being so busy, they get your order to you so quickly. It is a little bit hard to flag down one of the employees though. Otherwise this is a great place in town when you're craving for high quality pizza!

Lovely spot! I came on a Friday ~5pm with my husband and kids. The toddlers shared a cheese pizza slice. They had a special where you got 4 pieces for $25. That was more than enough food for my husband and I. Gelato was great. When we had arrived there as only 1 group in line. It seemed like immediately after we ordered there was a solid line the remainder of our time there- but it moved quickly. Bathroom had a changing table. There were 4 high seats available. Overall it was a good spot for kids!

Corner location across from Uptown shopping center and close to the mall. Slices are large with a thin crust. You can a slice flight. Gelato. Wine. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. Staff is friendly and food is brought out quickly. Perfect for a post shopping bite to eat.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Gimani. The restaurant blends an industrial aesthetic with an upscale vibe that fits perfectly into Uptown Albuquerque. The wait staff was professional, attentive, and delivered genuinely excellent service. And the food--oh, the food--was outstanding. I highly recommend the white lemon pizza, a bright and flavorful combination of lemon, fresh mozzarella, fontina, and whipped ricotta. Bonus points: you can pair your pizza with a great glass of wine. Gimani is a fantastic spot to meet up with friends or enjoy a date night. Just a fair warning--the slices are so generous they're practically the size of your head.

Perfect slice of pizza. I got the Angry, crunchy on the bottom and held up well when picked up without being burnt. And the crust was amazing, chewy and soft in the center and just slightly sweet. Can tell it was fresh and kneaded well. It actually had a decent kick to it. That plus a chop salad stuffed me beyond full. Next time I'll have to bring someone else to split the salad with. Line order at the front and sit down. They brought out my food in less than a minute. Casual spot and a nice patio outside.

Per a locals recc, I grabbed pizza from this spot prior to hitting up a hot yoga session before my flight back home the next day. This was by far probably the best food I came across this weekend with the perfectly cheesy freshly made pizza out the box. I ordered the pepp with hot honey which was MAGICAL. And the special slice was quite good the next morning as well. Big fan

I went inside and it was very packed but it was a good flow were your able to still get a table by the time you place your order, there is a patio seating as well, same with "bar" high top chairs as well. The food came out hot , it's a large slice for one person . i got a side of Caesar dressing (i'm a ranch girl but they don't serve ranch) it wasn't bad not very fishy or anything very traditional in way, i got my pep slice with the additives , i would say personally i wouldn't get it with burrata as the cheese was cold and made the pizza cold, and it was overpowering to the point i wasn't able to really taste the pizza , but that is my personal preference's. overall would def go back again and recommend !

I had some time to check out Gimani when I was around Coronado Mall area, so I decided to stop by to check this place out since it's been on my list for so long. The place was hopping! There were lines of customers (lunch crowds!) even during weekdays. What I thought was amazing was...I felt this establishment had completely turned around the business location from when it was another pizza brand before Gimani took over for sure! The crowd and good, lively music was there...and it vibe was clean, modern and bright! I tried the White Lemon pizza, fountain drink and the gelato...and to be honest, the White Lemon pizza was just ok. I thought it looked better than it tasted (probably because it was a little too cheeesy/plain tasting to me vs. normal pizza with some proper sauce!). That said, the ice cream and the choice of fountain drink was great! They had your typical sodas and a couple of tea/fruit-based refreshment to try as well. Overall, the taste was find..it wasn't anything way too outstanding. However, the combination of the location, business vibe and the price point...along with the value of the food that they offer, Gimani is a very solid lunch option for sure...especially if you are a pizza lover!

We visited this location while passing through Albuquerque on our way to Durango, CO. I was super excited to have the pizza flight as it was excellently priced and my partner accidentally ordered two. We were so stocked with pizza it was kind of hilarious. The lemon pizza was quite interesting in the best way possible. I definitely have a sweet tooth and enjoyed the flavor profile of that one. Honestly every pizza we had here was excellent with clearly defined flavors and ingredients that properly complimented one another. Our dogs were allowed to hang out with us on the outside patio which is something I appreciated:). Honestly I'd come back in a heartbeat (and order less pizza). The vibe is cool and all the employees are knowledgeable and friendly. Thanks y'all!

Cool spot. Definitely noticed that people were enjoying the patio area. Friends told me I needed to check this place out. I being a HUGE pizza fan was excited to go. I have to admit I was not impressed. I am a self proclaimed pizza snob and this was not my favorite pizza. From the crust to the toppings I was disappointed from first bite.

I tried this place with a friend and my kids. You order at the front then take a number, and they bring to you. The menu is small and to the point, which I appreciate. I had the spicy pepperoni (I can't recall the name) and added the hot honey drizzle on it. The kids had the Margherita pizza. For young kids, you only need one slice which you can cut in half. I also ordered the gelato for the kids. For the price it's a little small, but they enjoyed it. The salads are also very big, and could be shared within a group. It does pick up around 6p, so I would suggest getting there early!

Hidden Gem in Nobhill Albuquerque…read more I recently visited the restaurant at Mission Winery and had a great experience from start to finish. To start, I ordered the sangria and the crab & artichoke dip. The sangria was on the sweeter side but not overwhelmingly so, making it easy to enjoy with the appetizer. The dip was delicious, creamy, and packed with flavor, although I honestly couldn't taste much artichoke. It was still a great starter, especially paired with the bread. For dinner, I ordered the red chile fried chicken bites with fries. The chicken was the standout of the meal--crispy, flavorful, and coated in a delicious red chile sauce that had just the right amount of kick. The fries were perfectly cooked and paired well with the ketchup. My friend shared the appetizer with me and ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad, which she enjoyed alongside one of the wine tasting flights. The real surprise of the evening came after dinner. Our host handed us a card with a password to access the speakeasy downstairs. If you visit Mission Winery, don't skip this part. The speakeasy had a completely different atmosphere from the restaurant above and quickly became the highlight of the night. The space feels intimate, sophisticated, and thoughtfully designed, with dark wood accents, comfortable seating, and a stylish lounge vibe. My friend and I both ordered espresso martinis, and they were fantastic. The presentation alone was impressive--the unique glassware was chilled and helped keep the cocktail cold longer, allowing us to enjoy it at a relaxed pace. Between the excellent food, wine, creative cocktails, and the hidden speakeasy experience, Mission Winery offers much more than just a typical dinner out. The restaurant was great, but the speakeasy downstairs is what will have me coming back. Recommendation: Start with dinner upstairs, then ask about the speakeasy password and finish your evening downstairs with an espresso martini. It's one of the coolest date night or girls' night experiences I've found in Albuquerque.

We had a reservation for 11:30am and arrived on time, but ended up waiting outside for about 10 minutes with no staff in sight. We called multiple times for assistance before anyone came out. To make matters worse, the friend who made the reservation was never informed that brunch is held in the private club and not the e restaurant, which caused unnecessary confusion right from the start. Once a waiter finally found us, we were taken to the private club where we were told they only had three brunch menu items available that day. We ordered immediately, along with waters and mimosas. Keep in mind, there were only two tables total--our group of three and another group of seven--so it wasn't busy. Despite that, service was extremely slow. It took 20 minutes just to get our mimosas, and our waters were forgotten and didn't come out until another 10 minutes later. Our food took about 40 minutes, which felt excessive given how few people were there. Even more frustrating, my friends' meals came out about 10 minutes before mine. There's really no reason meals at the same table shouldn't be served together. The food itself was just okay. The only standout was the French toast, which was actually really good--and honestly the only reason this review isn't one star. I also ordered coffee and was told they don't carry creamer, which is surprising for a place offering brunch. Our waitress rarely checked on us throughout the meal, which added to the overall lack of service. Between the confusion, long wait times, and lack of attention, this experience didn't meet expectations. I won't be returning.

Our reservation was on time and people were quite attentive, assuring us it would be (we got there early). The ambiance was relaxed and quiet, but it got noisier as the night crowd joined. Service was attentive and also slow at times. I am unsure if the slow service was as we were enjoying our company or if this is the norm. As friendly as the service was, there were some significant mistakes. One order was not put with the others, delaying the dish even more. Having a party of six, I would expect the server to ask how to split the check before giving it. That delayed things even more at the end. To correct this mistake, he offered a drink on the house. And the last one, they charged me for drinks we didn't drink. We found this after we left. In terms of drinks, they were fantastic and long-named! My bartender's choice was absolutely in point. Even though the dishes came late, we were excited when they arrived. Visually, they were pretty. I can only describe our dishes and not that of our friends, as we didn't try them. For appetizers, we got the crudo. This was quite refreshing and bright ahi tuna with lots of citrus helped by pieces of creamy avocado. The hubs got the steak frites. Visually appealing, but the flavors did not match my eyes. The meat was cooked perfectly but was missing flavor and seasoning. The fries were also bland. I got the seared duck breast. This dish was visually stunning. However, it also did not meet the expectations set by the visuals. The vegetables and balsamic sauce were the heroes, while the duck breast was small and a third was just fat. Considering the prices of this place, we expected the visuals to match the flavors, but they were unfortunately not the same.

I did not have a reservation, and was dining as a single, and they worked me right in to a great spot at what they called the dessert bar. From my perch, I got to see the chefs in action, which I always enjoy. The decor is very comfortable, with linen napkins, and nice size tables. Staff is very friendly and attentive, but not smothering. The menu has many choices and there were specials to choose from. The foods here have a French flair, but there are American and New Mexican style choices available.Ghere is a very nice wine list and very reasonable prices of the wines. There's a special place in my heart for meatloaf, because in our house growing up, it was a comfort food that was served every Monday. It was on the menu tonight and how could I resist? This was an outstanding presentation. I really enjoyed the green beans cut to the short lengths as shown in the picture. A little bit of lemon zest gave them some brightness. The potato wedges were done to perfection with a little bit of Browning on the outside and a very creamy inside. The meatloaf was tender and had layers of flavor in the sauce. For dessert, the brownie with ice cream on top and chocolate sauce may sound ordinary, but it was a real find. Delicate ice cream with fresh mint. The brownie was tender and had a chocolate flavor, but not overwhelming. Prices match the quality of the wonderful food in this place.

Although…read moreI appreciate a short menu and hate menus longer than a page, this menu was almost too abbreviated. Food: 3 There weren't many appetizers to choose from, so we chose deviled eggs and bread. The deviled eggs were good, but they were just deviled eggs. The bread was startling small (but made sense with the low price). Ribeye Steak with Shiitake Mushrooms: The ribeye steak was cooked medium rare as requested, but I would have preferred a thicker cut. Although it tasted fine, it was literally just a piece of meat with some mushrooms on a plate. Most places with simple entrees like this have side options, but there weren't really any besides mac & cheese or fries. Tuna Salad Nicoise: This was probably the best savory dish of the night. It had a good balance of texture and flavor. This is what I expected Frenchish to be like - simple traditional dishes done well to make for a balanced and interesting dish. Saint Sebastian Burnt Cheesecake was excellent. It was not too sweet and had the right amount of tang. The burnt top added a nice texture change and charred flavor to a light dessert. Chocolate Burrito: If you want a rich and decadent dessert, look no further. This is a crepe wrapped around vanilla bean ice cream and covered in chocolate and caramel. It is fairly sweet but the peanuts add a crunchy texture and saltiness to balance it out. Service: 3.5 The host and waitstaff were excellent. The low score is for the timing of the food. We got appetizers and the salad for the table to share, but we finished all of those long before our entrees came out. I expect restaurants like this to have better timing, particularly since it wasn't super busy that night, with entrees coming out maybe 5-10 mins after appetizers are done. Ambiance: 4 The restaurant is nice. It has lots of seating but does not feel overcrowded, and it is fairly quiet. The biggest problem is that it is hard to find parking in Nob Hill.
