I ordered 5 min before closing and they made sure I was taken care of. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. The pizza was delicious.

    Where's the chicken?

Pizza great as always. Tried a salad and added chicken for $4.60 more. Literally had a few small crumbles of chicken. When I asked where the chicken was they said it's in there. I said maybe a tablespoon, maybe. Not even 1 ounce. So they went and grabbed more, but argued with me about it. After the added chicken, I'd say I ended up with 2oz. I'm glad they fixed it, but at the same time they should recognize what was offered isn't acceptable and just be willing to fix it without arguing about it.

We had an early dinner there tonight and the pizza was so good. We had a veggie pizza with vegan cheese and the cheese was melted and bubbly and really, really good. The service was great too and there were little tables outdoors. Definitely going back.

My son and I went on a Wednesday just before noon and we were the only ones there. I was glad to see some local draft beer choices. Our margarita pizza was just like I like it; crispy, lots of tomatoes and fresh basil. You order at the counter and seat yourself. We choose a table overlooking the Rio Grande Blvd; I enjoyed the sunshine coming through the window. Our server was extremely attentive and friendly. I'll definitely be back.

This little pizza place is an Old Town Gem! It's a short walk from the plaza, located on Rio Grande near Central. They have a beautiful, shaded patio for outdoor dining and the most delicious gluten-free and build your own pizza's available! The vintage video games and pinball machines are a plus! Although sometimes there can be a long wait (30 min or more), the staff is friendly and provides good service!

We have been talking about trying this place for years but it's not close to home and just hasn't worked out. But yesterday I had an appt near there that ended right before dinner so decided to give it a shot. Was super easy to order and pay online for takeout. There is a little parking lot just south of it or you can park at the walgreens and walk across Rio Grande. The inside is great, wish I had grabbed pics. Cool Adobe house turned into comfy seating, an order counter and video games. Staff were attentive and helpful. I was in and out in less than 5 mins. Everything smelled amazing and it was a long 20 minute drive home. We got the 12" Stampede Pizza, Calzone with pepperoni and mushrooms and a Brownie. All were really good. Their crust is tender, flavorful and perfectly chewy. Generous and good quality toppings. The brownie had a little crisp and was really tasty. We will definitely be back!!!

Tonight was the letter O for date night. We tried Old town pizza parlor. We got the most refreshing iced tea brewed with mint. It was delicious. We ordered meatball sliders to start and a the kitchen pizza minus tomatoes. The food came out super hot and fast. After a couple bites of the slider, I asked for a side of marinara sauce and it added so much extra flavor. You could taste all of the flavors of the oizza. The balance of cheese, to crust, sauce and toppings was right on par. They do an amazing job here and we will be returning again to try the pasta. We also met a lovely couple who talked with us about restaurants and we got to share with them our favorite places.

This was in my drafts and never got to post when we went in October. This place was super cute and on the main road if you're trying to find it. We walked over to it from the clothing/shopping area down the road. The staff was pretty friendly. We ordered the Maui Wowie Pizza 10:10

The post office worker suggested this spot to us so we headed over and had a great pizza! My mom and I shared the small Genoa Pizza which was really yummy and unique. We wanted a pizza that wasn't super heavy with red sauce and meats because we were walking around Old Town and this was perfect option. The outdoor area is also very cute!

Ask the Community - Old Town Pizza Parlor

I tried going today and calling for past few days. Closed. It looks like someone had a review this week but today they are closed. Does anyone know if they are opening back up? I need a ring of fire.

They're open now ..... we're eating perfect pizza!

Is Old Town Pizza Parlor still open? We went by on Friday and there was a sign that they were closed for remodeling however I do not know how long that was there for.

The previous owner sold the place, she's going back to college. There is a new owner but I don't know when they will open.

Crispy Brussels sprouts had great flavor but way too much cayenne pepper (which adds nothing but heat) my husband ate them but said he would prefer less heat. I had 2 bites and gave up. Baked brie was amazing I loved the granny Smith apples! My husband loved them too. We also got the hummus duo which has dates on it and I used a date in the brie that was fantastic! I'll ask for that next time! It was the bomb. Hummus duo was good the watermelon radish was beautiful on the plate but gave both hummus a bitter flavor. Shrimp and grits. We live in Alabama currently and this was our least favorite dish of the day. Shrimp were cooked well and so were the grits but there was just something else it needed. Parmesan cheese and some onions maybe. Greek salad delicious. The flash fried chick peas made it. We needed more dressing and the wait staff was prompt and sweet about it. Spicy Lime Ceasar was ok till he requested more dressing then it was amazing. I was afraid of ordering it but the dressing wasn't too spicy . White sangria I had was disappointing it was more of a 1995 wine spritzer than a wine infused with citrus which is the very essence of sangria. It was ok and had I ordered a wine spritzer I would say yummo but I ordered sangria. Pork Belly flat bread was the winner of the night the tomato jam made that dish. I would love more on it next time but we will definitely be ordering that dish again! Yes we had a lot of left over food! But I love sampling a menu and this menu has a lot to offer. We will be back to try 4 or five other things. I look forward to my return.

In a rare turn of events, both kids got the same thing, the Korean chicken bites with the sauce on the side, which was a great decision bc it did have a kick to it. The chicken itself was a bit dry. Both adults also got the pork belly flatbread. I found it a bit unbalanced with too much sauce and not enough other toppings, and the base wasn't as crispy as I prefer. Speaking of crispy, we opted for the appetizer brussel sprouts, and they were a bit chewy and on the not so super crispy side. Service was fine, and glad to have a little break from heavier New Mexican cuisine on this night. Lots of variety on the cocktail and adult beverage menu too.

To start, as we came in, we were offered a biscochito to try while we decided on what to order. Amazing sandwich, fresh, delicious! While we were enjoying our food, Pratt Morales, the owner and master baker, came out and talked to us for a while. This was a real treat, great positive attitude and love for what he does. He even introduced us to one of his specialties the Turkey shaped bread he makes for Thanksgiving. Considering the $16+ price, I expected a bigger sandwich or a side of chips or something. Even a pickle wedge? Nope! I got a cup that was partially filled of au jus sauce for dipping and asked the girl to fill it up, which she did. It was like a big deal to do this. She was too busy reading a novel, while seated on a stool behind the counter, and I was interrupting her reading. The small sandwich sat in the corner of a mostly empty cardboard tray. That all said the sandwich was good, but hardly worth any bang for my bucks. Hey where were my tater tots on my tray that I am now observing in other posts. So I paid for an incomplete meal. To summarize: The beer battered onion petals with ranch were amazing. My boyfriend said his fries weren't bad but nothing to write home about. We both enjoyed our burgers. Now I sent my boyfriend to go do a take out order. For my bacon burger I wanted the burger only, add mayo on the side and add red onion to the burger. When he comes back, I am missing the red onion and the mayo. I had to walk back to the location, stand at the register while being ignored by 4 employees, 3 "cooks" and 1 other employee seemed to be a plain front of house worker/waiter, until another 5th employee comes to the register. I had the take out bag on the counter so they could see I wasn't ordering anything new, just wanted to fix an incorrect order but no one greeted or acknowledged me. No one said one moment either. The girl who came to the register was sweet and asked the cooks for my onion on the side. When she joked with them about not putting onion on my burger the older woman cook blamed a new girl employee for the mistake. I then got 3 thin slices of red onion and the mayo packets and went on my way. I took a screenshot of the online prices for this location for some of the burgers because they are actually incorrect- by $2! Not very nice to see especially if a family is on a trip and let's say only had cash. Just be careful and check your orders and wait until you're IN the restaurant for pricing.
