Can't be pulling a 7 month pregnant lady around! We did the 2 week on-leash program...drop off in the morning pick up in the afternoon. They give you a decent window of time in the AM and PM to drop off and pick up your pup so it's convenient for everyone. He was a little nervous on his first day but quickly warmed up to his trainer, Dakota. At the end of each week, you go in and are given a lesson going over what your dog has learned. Sit, lay, heel and place are just a few of the commands he learned. Our walks are MUCH calmer and we work on what he learned often. The staff is awesome, the place is clean and all in all I think it was worth the time and $ spent. They also have other programs depending what you're looking for.

Sadly, our dog Remy(white shepherd mix pictured with Rich and my wife) died last year from a sudden heart attack. Rich was so understanding and helpful in helping us find a Service Dog candidate that would meet my needs Better; we rescued a Newfoundland mix. I'm posting pictures from video as she's being trained to assist going up & down stairs. It's my opinion that even if you just try basic obedience, a trained owner and dog adds to the wonderful experience of canine ownership! We feel blessed having found Double H and Rich Hardin.

After coming home from walks in tears over and over, we finally decided to take a chance and enroll her in John's two week day training program. John tailored the program to fit the needs of our dog and the goals that we had as a family. Our dog came home every day from her day training with star pupil report cards. We were so confused. Was she faking it for John? Was she not going to be good with us like she was for John? Our fears were put to rest though. Every day when we picked her up, John would quickly go over what she learned in training so that we could work on those same tasks at home. He also sent us updates throughout the day and videos of her progress. Once the two weeks of training were up, the next phase is multiple one-on-one training sessions with John and our family. I think these sessions are what set John apart from everyone else. Our dog learned all the tools she needed to succeed during her day training sessions, but it was the one-on-one sessions out in the real world that really helped put all the pieces together. We came to John with our dog wearing her e-collar even for the most basic of walks and still couldn't control her, now she doesn't wear her e-collar at all, and we are even able to pass other dogs with only her flat collar on! I feel like I am in control and that she isn't walking me. She still has her moments, but I am able to get her under control swiftly and easily. I am so thankful to John for helping my family find order and peace. With yearly maintenance training sessions, we have been able to continue our progress and be proud of our dog! John has come to our rescue so many times since the training program ended with other behavioral issues and even helped us with a really difficult situation with both of our dogs while we were in the middle of moving. John is seriously the best. He truly loves what he does and it shows!

Her training methods are very accommodating, easy to understand, positive in that they don't hurt the dogs or make them scared, fun for humans and dogs. She focuses on creating a strong bond with your pup and that bond will help your dog learn. She has been able to help me train my middle aged handicapped dog and my blind/dead senior dog, my middle aged handicapped dog is too smart for her own good but since I have been using Kathleen my dog has gained so much more confidence in her mental and physical abilities. My senior dog now looks forward to training and the mental simulation that Kathleen promotes during her sessions. Believe it or not she can make really old dogs learn new tricks. She also makes dog training easy to understand for humans and really breaks down each step of the process. She is absolutely fantastic and I would recommend everyone use her. I think this is what makes her stand out as a trainer.

Cory and her staff treat you like they have known you forever from your first phone call and beyond from picking up your baby. They will be blunt and honest about the changes that need to happen on our end, but it is absolutely necessary to get the best doggos out of it and for continued growth. My Oliver Marsh was with them for 3 weeks, I received report cards with pictures reinforcing the sense of trust I had in them. When I say that if I felt even 1% off about them, I would have ate the non refundable cost and walked away with my boy. Cory and her staff continue their communication even after you are home. They never make you feel like you are asking too many questions or that they are stupid. We are excited to continue our trainings at group days and Oliver will be boarded to get any refreshers, plus he just fell in love with everyone there!! It has only been 4 days from picking up Oliver but the entire family can see a difference and the progress him and I have made. Just remember if you invest into your dog when these wonderful human beings, the work really start when you bring your baby home. Can not say enough great things about these ladies, i feel as if they are an extended part of our family!

My husband and I purchased both the boarded puppy camp & the specialized boarded service dog…read moretraining for a total of just under $8k. Before starting puppy camp, we explained behaviors our puppy was having trouble with at home. They assured us they would be able to help with everything. After going through the 2 week boarded puppy camp, none of the behavioral issues showed any improvement. Our puppy also did not display competency with the basic obedience commands he was supposed to learn. I figured he's still a puppy & the additional service dog training will get him all worked out. Unfortunately the service dog training was a complete waste. After all that training, our dog would only perform basic obedience tasks with a correction leash over his nose. If the leash was not on, all bets were off. As for the service tasks, they're non-existent. This facility prides themselves on not using treats to train. However, when they demonstrated the service task he "learned" on pick up day, they brought out peanut butter. I was very confused. While holding the peanut butter in the air, they got our dog to jump up & put his paws on them. His service task IS to jump up & put his paws on my husband when he's having a mental health episode. The problem is, my husband won't have peanut butter on hand when his dog needs to alert. Our dog only learned to jump on people carrying food. Nothing more. After I took some time to think about the situation, I sent an email explaining our disappointments, & that we have to put our dog through another program. (We did find a great trainer that was able to train our dog correctly-but it cost another $6,000.00). They responded to my email without taking responsibility for anything and refused to issue a refund. We would have been happy with even a partial refund, because they did board our puppy for weeks, even though he didn't get the training he was supposed to. How they explained their training methods, the training we were supposed to receive, & our responsibilities as the owners in their response email, was completely different than what we were told in person. In a nutshell were told we would be getting a dog that was finished in basic obedience & his service task training. They ended up saying we misunderstood, & that their program is a 'hybrid' model where they start the training, but we complete it ourselves at home. No where on their website are the services we purchased described that way, nor does it say anything about a hybrid model in the contract we signed. We were very clear we were looking for a program that would finish basic obedience & service task training. They confidently told us they would do that, & at home we would only need to reinforce what the dog had already learned. I don't think anyone would pay $8,000.00 to have a dog started only, & need to be self trained to finish. Especially not a service dog. After this, we did training classes at Petco to keep the puppy learning & socialized until his start date with the new trainer. Petco initially let us join their intermediate class, thinking our puppy would be ok since he'd been through so much boarded training with US Dog Training Camp. We were demoted to level 1 basic puppy training on our first day of class. That's tells you everything you need to know. We actually had an employee put their dog through a boarded training program with these guys at the same time. Neither of us knew the other had our dogs at this place until we saw the dogs together on their social media page. He was just as disappointed with his results & was sick he spent $5k. He feels his dogs behavior is actually worse after coming home.

Tuck is very responsive to the commands that Justin taught him. Justin's communication skills are great.
