We had Gin & Sake do our "maternity" photos at the Neon Museum. We went in with no idea what we wanted, but we could not be happier with how our session turned out. Our kid is now 5 (I'm really bad about writing reviews), and I finally got around to creating a photo book from the images we received. I had such a hard time narrowing down which images to include because they're all fantastic and they're such high quality I had no issues using some large format layouts for our book. We loved the edgy/gritty/real life styling to his photography. He has a great sense of artistry in his work, comes with fun ideas and is very lovely to work with. We went all over the old strip for photos, he was accommodating with our 1971 Cadillac who's battery kept shorting, and really knew how to get us to pose and look natural. Brandon was by far the best investment that my husband and I made for our wedding. From the beginning, Brandon was prompt and responsive when helping us figure out the right photography services and pricing for our wedding. Our wedding was on the smaller side, and we only requested photography for half of the day as our reception was very informal - Brandon was the only option that gave us the right combination of quality and affordability. While other top vendors will immediately ask for prices in the thousands, Brandon was able to work with us within our budget. On the day of the wedding, I was frazzled enough with making sure I knew where people needed to be that I could hardly spare a thought for Brandon. But as it turns out, while I was distracted with not tripping on my heels, Brandon was working his magic all along. He was working solo for our wedding, and yet he seemed to manage so many different places and people at once. He had an amazing eye for capturing emotion, regardless of who he focused on. I don't know how he does it - it's like he has a preternatural sense for when a magical moment is about to happen. He was able to seamlessly get from location to location, help herd our guests (as well as the groom and myself) in a way that wasn't at all invasive, and when we went slightly over the original time window we had asked for, he didn't complain at all - if anything, he was eager to help us get more shots until we were satisfied. All of this in of itself would have been enough to merit five stars, but then Brandon somehow also managed to get all the pictures edited and uploaded for us in under eight hours! Under eight hours. I could hardly believe my eyes when I settled back in the hotel after our dinner and saw his email in my inbox! Most people I know who have gotten married have to wait months for their pictures to come back, but Brandon's prompt return of our photos made it possible for me to share wedding moments with family overseas who couldn't make it in almost real-time. It was above and beyond anything that my husband and I could have hoped for, on top of the photos being so brilliant. Hear me out when I tell you all the reasons I felt Brandon was one of the best investments of my wedding day. I booked him maybe 8 months ago on the basis that I wanted photojournalistic photos and a photographer who adapted well to different indoor lighting situations. Inquiring and booking? Easy. Deposit? Easy. Didn't know what to tell him during our 1st/only preevent meetup other than provide him a timeline. He looked relaxed and confident anyway. Easy. Day of wedding: Brandon was working alone as his partner was out of town. Had camera around his neck with a couple lenses on hand. Throughout the day, I tell you, he was swift, composed, and down to earth. I don't really know how to explain it- he'll appear into peripheral vision and disappear shortly after snapping some shots with a nod of approval (which is cool b/c you're not supposed to be distracted by photography to the extent where the moment becomes unnatural). However, in moments where posing does count (ex: formal portraits or table visit photos), he'll double check to make sure people weren't blinking and that the photo is acceptable which is important Brandon most definitely has an eye for detail and is pretty much camera ready for whatever is going on on a minute's notice. I wanted photos where I could look back and remember the day as it was happening, even the moments I couldn't witness myself. I can't stop looking through my photos now; I relive the day through the photographs he captured. Gallery retrieval? Easy. Did I tell you that the turnover for the photos was insanely fast? Planned our Las Vegas wedding from Colorado and we were super happy with Brandon and Jill from Gin & Sake Productions. I found them on a random wedding blog and liked the vibe of the photos on their website. I'm a crazy obsessive researcher by nature (is that a Capricorn thing?) and it wasn't easy to make a decision about big wedding details like dresses and food and photos because I had this overwhelming fear of failure and leaving guests bored. People told me that photography is the number one most important part of a wedding because a good photographer can make a mediocre wedding look pretty special. A bad photographer will miss the important moments and make your $20k wedding look like a backyard barbecue. We were looking for a photographer who would relax when it came to all of those canned stereotypical posed wedding photos. Our wedding wasn't the big fat traditional blowout. We're a bit older than most couples (not THAT old). We skipped having a procession of bridesmaids and a million groomsmen. We decided to forgo all of the wedding toasting and the Electric Slide and the Cupid Shuffle. We chose a pretty unique setting and hoped for good weather and natural lighting. We wanted a lot of candids that still looked lovely. We wanted our pictures to read like a documentary film montage. Gin & Sake absolutely delivered. Brandon and Jill stayed with us from around noon through the end of our reception...even longer than we had originally contracted for. At the end of the night, after they left, Brandon texted me a picture he liked from the day. It was a great moment and left us pretty excited to see the rest of their work. I asked Brandon to manipulate a couple photos to have that Instagram Earlybird filter effect to match our retro wedding and those photos looked great. He made a digital album of about 100 photos available for a couple weeks while he got our photo disc ready to mail. When we got the disc (he had a super fast turnaround) we were surprised and pumped to see that there were hundreds and hundreds of photos and a lot of the them were worth blowing up and framing. I truly believe we got lucky in stumbling upon Gin & Sake Productions. All I have to say is AWESOME!! I first contacted Brandon (Pro Photo Mounts) a couple of years ago through a random search on the internet for 'plexiglass mounted artwork'. The first piece I had them produce for me was for custom photograph for a client. At the time I was unfamiliar with this printing/mounting process and Brandon patiently answered my MANY questions. I was blown away when I received the finished piece, so was my client. A few months later I had another 'plexiglass mounted photo made for the same client. Again, AWESOME. There is no comparison for the plexi mounted photo. It is clean lined and pops with color. I have worked with many different labs in my photography career and this is one of the most personable. I recently moved to a new modern house and it required modern art. So I immediately thought of Brandon and Pro Photo Mounts. I had 11 photographs that I wanted Plexi mounted. I contacted them for a price inquiry (they were all custom sizes). We exchanges a few emails, and he informed me that they had changed the paper that the photographs were to be printed on. I was nervous, because I loved the two he previously made and had that vision in my head. Through our conversation, Brandon explained the difference in the papers and convinced me I would love the final result. He was not mistaken. The 'plexiglass mounted artwork' seems like it is a bit on the pricey side. But when you factor in the cost of making the print and then bringing that print to a frame shop to have matted and framed, it is very reasonable. Plus the artwork looks like it is floating on the wall. No frame to distract from the image. Just the art. I can not say enough good. We had a destination wedding in Las Vegas. I asked a few friends to look through Las Vegas photography portfolios and the unanimous decision was we all loved the look of Gin & Sake Productions. We booked Gin and Sake for our wedding shoot. They were absolutely fantastic from beginning to end. I can't say enough good things about them and would recommend them for anyone looking for something really unique and special for their own photo shoot. When I started doing research for my wedding, I was looking for a photographer who was capable of creating images which were a little more unusual than most. What immediately spiked my attention was some of the more quirky photos on the website - this was exactly the sort of thing i was looking for. We were having a 1920's theme, and I wanted to get some images that made you feel like you had actually gone back in time. In addition, my partner thought it would be a good idea to do a photo shoot with the entire wedding party - so we had laid out quite the challenge. Brandon certainly did not disappoint. In one of the first emails back to me, he suggested that we get the group together during the reception to shoot some portraits in costume, so that he could re-create a Gatsby styled movie poster. This was such a great idea - I was sold the minute he came up with it! During our shoot, I could tell that Brandon came well researched and prepared for a great day. Happily squeezing into a party bus chock a block full of crazy Aussies - he took the group to some of the most fabulous and unusual locations around Vegas. One of the most memorable places we stopped was down an alleyway which contained really great industrial signs, pipes and streetlights in the background. We got the most perfect Old-Hollywood photos at this location - some individual... some group... all awesome! Beyond this fabulous pre-wedding shoot, in my opinion, the thing that really cemented Brandon's skills and flair for photography, is how well he was able to capture all of the moments across the whole event. From the second the doors swung open at the ceremony, right through all of the speeches, and afterwards at the reception. he was able to effectively depict everyone's expressions and reactions perfectly. As a directly result of his professional capability, I am now able to remember all of the parts of the ceremony and different moments during the speeches in great detail. The day goes by so quickly and would otherwise be such a blur. All of the photos we have received are superb. Words can't fully express how thrilled we are with each and every one of them. The back street photos were spot on... our fantastic group photos with everyone in costume with our props and the awesome industrial background..... the glamour photos presented in black and white which made us look like movies stars, the spectacular coverage of the ceremony and the reception, and finally the Gatsby posters! The images that Brandon and Jill have been able to create well beyond our wildest imagination. We are so grateful to have the most fabulous memento to enjoy for the rest of our lives. Not sure this ever posted!!! Our wedding was 06/06/16! We booked and paid our deposit for Gin & Sake originally based on what we saw on their website, before even meeting with Brandon. We are so pleased we did! OUR PHOTOS ARE AWESOME!!!!!!!!! Brandon has somehow managed to capture the spirit of our wedding day perfectly. Friends that didn't make it to our wedding have said it's like they were there because they can just feel the emotion coming through from the photos. Our personalities have been summed up so well in the collection of shots we received. (Which turned up in my email inbox a couple of days after the wedding, before we'd even left Vegas to start our honeymoon!) He has caught every detail, every smile, every moment so perfectly and the whole story of our day has been told. We're from the UK so organising everything for our Las Vegas wedding from there was quite daunting. We flew over to check out wedding venues and meet with vendors about a year or so before our wedding. Brandon suggested a photo shoot while we were out there, but in fact as well as doing that, he ended up being our wedding venue tour guide, which was just so lovely for him to do, what with us being from out of town. Brandon made everything so easy for us and was incredibly polite, friendly and patient with me even with all my crazy bride question emails I kept sending him. We had our wedding ceremony outside at 3pm in 45 degree heat and again Brandon was so patient and relaxed about it all, despite my limo arriving over 30 minutes late and cutting short his time in that venue. He stayed with us almost 10 hours that day and even managed to make us look amazing at the end of the night, at what I was sure was not going to be our finest moment! Brandon was GREAT! My fiance & I both HATE taking pictures and he made it so easy and was so accommodating. Offered to drive us everywhere we wanted to take pics, as many outfit changes as we wanted and no extra fees to do it. Our pics turned out awesome! Highly recommend. read more

Brandon is a photography God!!! My wife and I got married on 8/15/15 and we already have our photos back!! 6 day turn around time, including shipping to Chicago!!! That is unheard of!!! (It should be noted, he also sent us some of the proofs the next day!! 20 hour turn around for some of the proofs!!!) The photos are absolutely amazing. There are some truly stunning shots - I am blow away by some of our pictures. On the day of the Wedding both Brandon and Jill were super amazing - they made my very large wedding party feel totally comfortable, they came up with some really awesome shots and they stayed the entire wedding - 12 hours at a totally reasonable price. Prior to the wedding, my communication with Brandon was super! He responds quickly and even put in extra work to help us find a videographer, florist, etc. when we asked for recommendations. Ah! We hired Gin & Sake to take our wedding photos and Brandon was AWESOME! He quickly responded to emails and was willing to work within our budget. On the day of our wedding, he was friendly, professional, and patient...which was great because we had a large wedding party (16 adults + four kids!) and it was a hot August afternoon!
