We explained the situation and she couldn't have been more kind. These flowers were delivered to me at work today. Besides the leaves being dead the card has a typo. The back of the flowers are wilted. This picture was taken 2 minutes after they were delivered so I can show my husband. He called and the answer he received was, "we are so busy". That doesn't make the flowers wilt or brown. Now tell me something, look at the pictures I posted and tell me if that was worth 149.00 to you? FALSE ADVERTISING is what I think it looks like. A friend had bought my grandmother a set of roses too, which were two seperate orders. Two family members were at home while it was dropped off and LEFT on my doorstep because they decided they were too lazy to ring the doorbell. Are you serious? I go to call up the lady "Gina", she lied the first time and told me she wasn't available for a couple hours. Half hour later she must have forgot I called and she was Gina. I played stupid at first and acted like I wanted to know how many roses came in the deluxe set I got for 149.00 - she didnt know the answer. At first she said 12, and I told her that was wrong because the picture shows MUCH more than that. Then, she proceeded to tell me that she doesn't know she doesnt have the formula infront of her. And ALMOST tried hanging up on me. Thats when I stepped in and said that I was calling regarding a purchase on Valentine's day, and she said that she got an email and voicemail but was too busy to reply. Come on, Valentine's Day is over - you're not that busy. She called the original buyer back to settle things. But NO way in HELL will I ever recommend this company. Are you kidding me? Most of the people that picked up the phone, had such hard either spanish or asian accents I couldnt even understand that. FALSE advertising is not okay, LEAVING $55 FLOWERS on my doorstep is NOT ok. And BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE is absolutey NOT OK. Go elsewhere. To update - the next day, they brought me the same exact "wrong" item they gave me. I guess to double it, so he got his moneys worth. I cannot say enough positive things about this florist. The owner was extremely sympathetic, accommodating, and genuinely catered to my requests. The flowers for my dads funeral were stunning. We purchased a casket spray, a heart spray, and a rosary bead made of roses. The flowers were so fresh and we still have the roses several days later and they are still beautiful. read more

If I could I would not give Gina's any stars. My daughter and son-in-law sent me flowers on Friday. When they arrived half of the flowers were dead. I called Gina's and they said they would replace the flowers. Later in the early evening they arrived. They were somewhat better but not great. At 9:30pm the doorbell rang again and there was a man there asking for the return of the original flowers. I never should have answered the door. I had already thrown them away. It is now Sunday and the flowers that were delivered on Friday evening are DEAD! NEVER USE THIS FLORIST. read more

If I could give no stars I would. My sister in NC ordered flowers for my mom in Central Islip. She ordered what was supposed to be the pic on the left. Beautiful pastel roses, hydrangea, and gerbera daisies beautifully arranged in an embellished vase. What she got was the haphazardly thrown together mess of red roses, carnations, ferns, and hydrangea in a cheap plain vase. Seriously? $96.40 for this garbage?? I've gotten nicer bouquets for less than $20 at King Kullen. What's worse is that my sister tried to contact Gina's to find out why she didn't get what she ordered and didn't get the courtesy of a reply. I DO NOT recommend this florist and will tell my friends and family to go elsewhere. read more

I placed an order on Friday to have the flowers delivered on Sunday. They were never delivered! Gina took the order herself and never even called to tell me that they were not going to deliver. I don't know why they weren't delivered. I called today and spoke to Angie and she said she will ask Gina, but it sounded like this was not the first time something like this happened. Five pieces were ordered from various people including a funeral spray, a decorative heart, a patriotic wreath, a traditional piece and a vase of sunflowers specially requested. Care was put into the design and preparation. Flowers remained fresh through the three days as compared to pieces prepared by other florists.
